Hello everyone, off we go again...

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HungryHorace · 23/01/2014 10:41

My due date is cobbled together based on a positive OPK rather than LMP as I had a WTF cycle with only spotting (02.11-08.11) no proper AF. My last actual AF was 10th October.

The midwife plumped for 5th November as LMP, however, which is probably when I was due on.

It'll be interesting to see what my due date ends up as. :-)

I've thrown up far less than with DD, but I put that down to not having fir force myself out of bed at 6am to get the 7am train to work! I'll probably be sick as a dog when I go back to work, even though it'll be outside the usual time for MS.

PinaColadas · 23/01/2014 11:09

Thanks Hungry I've sent you a PM :D Excited!

mssleepyhead · 23/01/2014 11:09

Had a very long day with a full on parents evening yesterday and it's making today IMPOSSIBLE. I'm so tired, and so close to collapse... Double year 10 down, just 2 more teaching hours to go!! Sigh...

LakeOfDreams · 23/01/2014 11:13

I'm so tired today don't think the rain is helping buried just can't be bothered to get out of bed. I really need to as I have to do loads of cleaning. Someone shout at me for being lazy!

HungryHorace · 23/01/2014 11:38

It threw it down overnight / earlier this morning here, but is now sunny and windy, so I've flung a load of washing out! Still can't be arsed to dust / Hoover though. :-/

So, I can't shout at you, Lake!

2beornot · 23/01/2014 11:43

This time tomorrow I'll be having my scan. I'm so scared and excited all at the same time. Woke with vague pains in the abdominal area this morning and I still get aches in the pelvic area. Yesterday I was sat on floor wrapping DHs presents and found it hard to get up because it hurt!! I ended up having to roll into my side and get up slowly. All very strange. I just so hope it's good news.

HungryHorace · 23/01/2014 11:51

I get really achey, particularly on the right hand side. I'm hoping it's just stretching not something sinister. It's just painful being pregnant, I think (and worse each subsequent baby!).

DuPainDuVinDuFromage · 23/01/2014 12:04

I don't think I've done ANY housework since before Christmas except the occasional hoover when the floor was visibly covered in stuff and a couple of washings-up. Even the washing has been very last minute for the last few weeks, I've ended up with almost nothing to wear several times! DH is helping lots although he simply doesn't notice things like the bathroom needs cleaning...

Horace, I definitely think things are different when you are at work and have to hide the sickness from everyone, although there are different difficulties with having to look after a baby while feeling awful - actually, I think it's easier at work in some ways! It's definitely worse having morning sickness the second time round, when we have to think about our DCs as well as us.

I'm now stuffing my face with cheap white bread and marg - bit of a strange craving but I just had to have some! Grin

flymo79 · 23/01/2014 12:43

ha! dupain, my DP is the same! we have lived in squalor for weeks! fortunately I had a burst of energy this weekend just gone and was doing some mad cleaning, including the kitchen cupboards. Crazy lady....

flymo79 · 23/01/2014 12:44

good luck with the scans ladies! xxxx

lucyfluff · 23/01/2014 12:51

I am actually going to SCREAM at the next person I ring to sort this bloody mess of appointments out Sad have spoken to about twenty diff people/two hospitals and one gp......now waiting for a call back.

Grrrrrrr!!! sorry for ranting.

HungryHorace · 23/01/2014 12:55

Bloody hell, Lucy...piss up in a brewery much? :-(

lucyfluff · 23/01/2014 13:23

Def hungry!!!! Refferal was 9th jan and nothings been done.

Just spoke to the hospital I want to go to and shes getting MW to call me next week once shes back from leave!!! She did say they can do scan before booking in but shes not sure if the other hospital are too slow to send notes before scan (they were OBEM hosp!!!!)

HungryHorace · 23/01/2014 13:27

That's crap. :-/

I hope it gets sorted quickly.

Feelingfatty · 23/01/2014 13:30

Eugh sounds very annoying Lucy!

ScienceGeekGirl · 23/01/2014 13:46

Ok I'm sick of being sick! Last week I went five days without being sick and thought I must be coming out the other side but no now at 10 weeks I'm puking every day. This has meant I've been late for work and even had to be sick at work on Tuesday which was so horrible. Before this pregnancy I'd be sick most every couple of years. Ive also started wondering if it's all in my head and I'm only being sick cos I 'should' be. Anyone else wonder that? I do this every time I get Ill where I don't trust myself that I'm actually unwell. (Yes I am indeed a crazy lady)

lucy hope you get your appointments sorted soon. Must be very frustrating!

babyspice2501 · 23/01/2014 14:27

Thanks bunny. Feeling abit more positive than I was this morning.

Oh lucy I hope they sort it, its not fair on you is it.

As the for the housework thing im soooooo glad im not the only one! Ive been rubbish since xmas and dp has been brill at helping out when his not at work. His a chef so works long hours too!

HungryHorace · 23/01/2014 15:26

My DH isn't too bad at helping with housework, with a little nagging nudging!

Can I just say: I NEED ALL THE CHEESE! I just have to keep eating it. I'll be huge! :-/

babyspice2501 · 23/01/2014 15:39

Hungry im the same with cream cheese!! Yummy!

CountdownBegins · 23/01/2014 15:41

My DP has been pretty amazing with doing all of the washing and hoovering. I've been ok to do bursts of cleaning for about ten minutes once a week and that's it!

Mmmmmmmm cheese! Hungry you've got me needing cheese RIGHT NOW! Could murder a cheese and pickle sandwich- that's all I ate in the first 8 weeks.

babyspice2501 · 23/01/2014 15:54

Countdown I had cheese and pickle sandwich for lunch! :)

Feelingfatty · 23/01/2014 16:02

Baby spice great minds and all that, I also had a cheese and pickle sandwich for lunch! Smile

CountdownBegins · 23/01/2014 16:02

Babyspice- I'm very jealous! I had a tuna wrap but might have to make a cheese and pickle sandwich for a 'snack' before dinner...

Has anyone picked up their mum to be bounty pack? Everywhere near me has ran out and I want free tiny samples and random leaflets to read!

lucyfluff · 23/01/2014 16:05

I am having cheesy mash tonight for dinner :p !!!!

I have calmed down too after a lovely lady rang me and has booked MW for 7th Feb and has put scan form in for asap so will ring Monday to check when that is....all should be sorted by 12 weeks phew Smile

Care under one hosp birth under the other!!!!

Jenbee1 · 23/01/2014 16:08

Smoked cheese is my downfall, although now im thinking cream cheese and bagel, mmmm.
Hope you get your appointments sorted lucy
Good news from my scan, strong heartbeat and everything looks ok. EDD still 11th Aug which I'm really surprised about, was convinced it was going to move back.
