Hello, I've had a previous tubal and chemical and finally after 3 years of trying I'm pregnant again. I've had early scans to monitor me due to my previous history and at 5wks we saw ges sack and yolk sac in the uterus. I'm now 6wks and had another ultrasound yesterday which showed a tiny flickering heartbeat. However since I've come home from the hospital I'm having slight cramps and light brown/pinky spotting when I wipe. It isn't enough to touch a pad but I'm absolutely terrified that after seeing the hb something is going to go wrong.

I know it's frightening - I went through exactly the same thing after IVF. Had some spotting at about 6 weeks. Went for a scan at six weeks, no heartbeat, went back at 7 weeks, heartbeat fine and strong - all well and now is a 9year old DS! Turned out spotting was implantation bleed. Exactly the same thing happened with dd, spotting, early scan etc, again no heartbeat at six weeks, all was well, now a cheeky 5 year old.

It's a worrying time, but try to be kind to yourself. What will be, will be xx

Thank you for your reply. I'm trying not to worry as that isn't good although I'm making a trip to the bathroom every 10mins checking! The cramps seem to come and go but are worse at night for some reason? I'll see the weekend out and phone the epu Monday. Again thanks for your reply xx
