Having looked into it, I don't think castor oil is for me. I'll stick to pineapple, reflexology and curries! My consultant said the only thing she rates is going up and down stairs so may try to find some of those.

We got our bugaboo bee delivered today :-) DH managed to put it together with not a single swear word, I'm impressed! It looks lovely and folds up beautifully.

BowlFullofJelly · 24/09/2013 20:29

I think cherry has a cs scheduled for 30th, so at least one of us will be prompt!

Natalieand · 24/09/2013 20:39

On and off today including right now I keep getting a weird tingling sensation down both of my arms, all the way from the shoulders, no chest pains or anything so u think its a midwife thing? Doctor thing? Or just see how it goes thing?

After today's reminiscing about 1980's toys, I thought I'd post this video, it makes me chuckle everytime I watch it....I'm sure loads of you have seen it already...

Flyer747 · 24/09/2013 20:43

Not sure Nat sorry can't be more helpful.

MrsHoratioNelson · 24/09/2013 20:44

Trapped nerve maybe? If it doesn't hurt and there are no other symptoms, perhaps just see if its still there in the morning?

claphammama · 24/09/2013 20:48

umlauf and flyer I'm only 36 weeks today be ready to take you both on in the bitch fight! Bring it on arrrrrgh!!!! Plus, I'm not English - we don't do queues in Europe. Sorry ladies. Everything hurts me today and I had literally one hour of sleep last night.

oooo... soup, stairs? I have lots of those here... happy to open my house to visitors if anyone fancies a few rounds, up and down.

roofio I've just consumed two massive mangoes (my latest craving) - lets see if anything happens

baby jelly please stay inside until daddy jelly gets better

ana I'm sure noone will say no to freshly baked goods!

MotherOfNations · 24/09/2013 20:50

No I hadn't Umlaut*. Off to look now. Is everyone saying they hate it?

claphammama · 24/09/2013 20:54

ah flyer meant to say - can you ask DP not to get drunk when he goes to see his friend for the night in case something happens? So he can drive back if needed? But... as I know he is my DP's twin separated at birth, would there be any point in him going there then? Grin. If he can drive back in 1.5 hour it's not too bad, it will take my DP at least an hour to get home from North London in case something happens with me when he is at work.

MrsHoratioNelson · 24/09/2013 20:56

Yup - three storeys in our house so happy to welcome SW Octoberers for labour-inducing stair climbing, so long as you save me a job and don't go empty handed

cazboldy · 24/09/2013 21:01

ok enough of the tidying urges here - I've just been cleaning the kitchen bin!

I just can't settle or keep still.

don't think it's the start of anything though!

Pinkforboys · 24/09/2013 21:04

Flyer thank you for that trip down memory lane Grin

OrangeBlossom2 · 24/09/2013 21:06

Congratulations textbook Thanks

Pinkforboys · 24/09/2013 21:10

I'm loving the image of the bitch-fight/pouting too...

Sorry some of you are feeling rough again.

Just had lovely relaxing yoga session, tho had to abort several positions for fear of throwing up all over fellow pg ladies. Don't like this reflux.

Consultant appt tomorrow. Not sure what for, but hey, it's great to be wanted. I do need to ask about my drug-taking tho, I'm still on Clexane every night- told to stop taking it 3 days before I go into labour as it can cause haemorrhaging. With you guys going into labour early I'm getting a little worried...it doesn't come with a crystal ball Hmm Hopefully I can convince the Doc to take me off it.

Can I bump the Q about raspberry leaf tea? Anyone know how much to take??

Flyer747 · 24/09/2013 21:12

Pink I've been drinking 4-5 cups per day and my cervix hasn't dropped out yet Grin

MrsHoratioNelson · 24/09/2013 21:15

I'm taking capsules from Holland and Barrett - 6 a day.

Pinkforboys · 24/09/2013 21:16

Thanks flyer. I'll take to it with gusto tomorrow. Give me the heads up if it does though Wink

OrangeBlossom2 · 24/09/2013 21:22

Falcon did you call about the clot? Hope you are ok. Xx

pinkbuttons · 24/09/2013 21:29

flyer agree about DH going away and not drinking just in case. Would suggest thats not an unreasonable compromise at 37+4.

Would like to say Im happy to get in the queue and wait my turn but theres too many of you due in September!

jelly hope everythings settled down and baby jelly waits for a better time for DH cant imagine hed be the best birth partner feeling so rubbish Sad Hope hes better tomorrow.

Also dont think will be trying the castor oil, but interested in some of the others and might go and get lots of fruit tomorrow, saying that ive had diarrhoea for 4 days and still not had a baby Blush sorry for tmi...

Natalieand · 24/09/2013 21:30

Just done my bp on the home machine I found and if was 147/139 gunna do it again in 20 mins on the other arm xx

Flyer747 · 24/09/2013 21:32

Clapham he did say he wouldn't drink, or I told him not to more like! His friend lives in Clapham actually and is visiting his parents in Angelsey, they are opening up a new business venture together so it's mainly to talk about that, but yeah I thought after I was being a bit precious its only 1 hour 30 away!

Flyer747 · 24/09/2013 21:35

Nat that bottom number is very high

OrangeBlossom2 · 24/09/2013 21:39

Blood pressure lowering thoughts for Nat. Bedtime for me zzz.

JellyCurls · 24/09/2013 21:44

Nat hope that was a false reading for you as seems a very high BP.

Thanks for good wishes ladies, BH are coming very regular now accompanied with pains in pelvis so am off to bed in the hope they settle. Sleep tight everyone and speak again in the morning x

AnythingNotEverything · 24/09/2013 21:51

Jelly I hope things tail off for you - you don't sound ready for baby just yet!

Quick question - it's ok if you have a bit of a show with a bit of pink in, right? Google seems to think so ... Thought I'd check the hive mind too! 36+6 here.
