Hello ladies.. the previous thread is almost full so I thought it's time to move on to a new one to mark the start of trimester 2. Here's to fewer bouts of sickness and more "glowing" all around!

For me it all kind of eased down at 16-17 weeks, however too much of acidity in the nights triggering throwing up now :-( 21+3 weeks

Try not to worry about movements they're not always easy to spot with your first, especially if you're busy.

Cannot - I hope I haven't just spammed you with a million private messages as phone went funny! I was aiming for one.

Yesterday I ate sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for dinner. I woke up at 5am starving so that'll teach me.

I've got my first pregnancy cold and its gone to my nose making sleep quite difficult. I dreamt I was choking and woke up with dry throat and blocked nose so not far from the truth!

my hoodie barely zips up over my tum now, and as it's jumper weather my bump is looking bigger. I work with the public who are often quite nosey but none of them have said anything yet so they must think I'm eating a lot of choc!

Just replied to the 2 people tho sent me messages about the fb group

I've got my 20 week scan tomorrow and I can't wait. Dh has got the day off work so, assuming all is well with the baby, we can celebrate afterwards by buying a few more bits for the baby, then drop by my parent's to share the good news . Just need to get past the scary bit first when the sonographer goes very quiet while they check everything!

Its really awful when the sonographer goes quiet. The one I had this time wasn't too bad and told me what she was doing as she went along. My poor dh had to wait outside with the stroppy toddler, so he thought because it was taking ages it was bad news. All good though. Hope everyone who got one coming has good news.

Still haven't got the date for mine! But looking forward to seeing our little man again! Should be first week or two of December

I have my scan Friday am hearing heartbeat really easily but am still nervous something will be wrong really impatient waiting and I have a horrible day at work tomorrow

awww congrats to all who have had scans recently, and good luck to those with them coming up!

i was really nervous for all my scans with all 4 babies! it's hard not to be I suppose.

how old are your 1st 2 dc? mine are 7 & 5. are you all sorted with regards bedrooms? we will have some juggling to do. Will you be changing your car? think we might try and manage, will have to see if 3 carseats fit along the back

yes, that's me. boys will be 9 and 7 when baby arrives.

no need to change car as my mum recently had to give up driving and has given her car to me, so ok there.

in terms of rooms, i don't know. we do have 3 bedrooms and the boys currently share. spare room has all our clothes in it at the moment. i think eventually the two younger ones will share and the eldest will probably have his own room by the time he's 10. he's not that keen though, as he likes the company, so we will play it by ear. we have a heap of decluttering to do before april to make room for a cot in our room etc.

so much to do, and no energy to do it!

Scan went well today. Very happy to be hear I have an anterior placenta which is why I haven't felt any movement yet. Also found out we are having a baby boy so have done lots of shopping. Such a lovely day and so happy to have such good news

8 days and counting till my scan! I've being cooing over baby clothes on the Internet. Baby Joules have some stunning pieces, just need to know whether to buy pink or blue now.

Had my scan this morning. All looking good and baby has grown so much. And looks like we have another boy joining the April group . He already has a name and we might have gone a tiny bit crazy buying tiny clothes for him this morning...

Had my scan today and everything looks normal. They couldn't tell the sex as the legs were crossed. So glad now we had the private gender scan, assuming that was correct as the little monkey had her legs crossed for that aswell!

Congrats tomuddy and trinpy on your scans,wow so many boys in April.i am really looking foward to starting my maternity leave and just letting loose buying for my little man.It's just as exciting as it was with DD. DH is bonkers if he thinks i am going to name our son Magnus.Nothing wrong with the name just that i do not love it and what happens when Magnus Carlsen goes crazy like Bobby Fisher?.As if that is not enough because he is a Breaking Bad fan the middle name would be Flynn. Again nothing wrong with the name but does Flynn Lund sound good?abs not,i should be the one with crazy hormones not him,back to the drawing borad DH! Rant over..
