falcon thinking of you tonight. When are they doing the next CTG? I hope tonight and not in the morning as you'll never sleep.

Chuckling at the boob dangling going on tonight.
I'm dreading buying breastfeeding bras as I've big busted too , HAVE to have wired, just cannot face non. Still, I'm not going to worry about that until I'm out of hospital as will live in my sleep bras while so engorged.

clapham those poor people trapped for so long. I hope you take water for your journey just in case as that would be horrific, so hot and cramped.

Thank you for the well wishes. Bp been high 80s low 90s today with my increased meds.

Forgot who asked, but my head is firmly in the sand over packing, which is really stupid. I don't have the energy to even consider what to pack, can't follow your fab lists as most supplied. I'm being really silly!

Wickedgirl · 05/09/2013 21:58

Falcon, how far are you now? Are you almost at 37 weeks? I'm sure that if the hospital deliver you now, both you and the baby will be fine. 37 weeks is considered "term" so as soon as you hit that, your baby is no longer classed as being premature. I hope everything goes well for you both Flowers

Natalieand · 05/09/2013 22:00

U def need to get packed tarlia pack pack pack lol

So I must be like a 44/46 e/f MoN.... Maybe when I give birth I will measure a 42 As I no quite a few of u have gone up a back size or 2 during pregnancy. Its difficult isnt it as different places and styles seem to offer different fits if that makes sense?i don't think I'm funny rush out for more bras until after I've had the baby then ill re measure and perhaps Ask for a few more luxurious bras off my mum for Xmas or something or tell dh I urgently need them when I've given birth lol

MotherOfNations · 05/09/2013 22:10

Maybe 46 FF but like you say all bras are different. I'm measuring as a 36 G right now but had to get a 34 F in the cheap Asda bras I got to tide me over until I'm in nursing bras.

TheFalconsmistress · 05/09/2013 22:12

Second trace done and its much better still in overnight and might have to come in for weekly ctgs till she arrives but does not look like ill need whisked to theatre the now at least Smile

Natalieand · 05/09/2013 22:15

Excellent news falcon and good that they r keeping u in to keep an eye on you. Such a relief for you. Xxxx

Thanks MoN next time I'm in town I might nip in m+s and try and bigger back size on just to get a feel of what I feel like in it. Then go from there I think xx

MotherOfNations · 05/09/2013 22:15

That's good falcon. I was rather selfishly wondering how I was going to get any sleep tonight for worrying about you and Willow.

Shirehobbit · 05/09/2013 22:16

Phew.
Hope you get some rest tonight, Falcon x

MotherOfNations · 05/09/2013 22:16

Whatever you do don't let M&S measure you Natalie.

PseudoBadger · 05/09/2013 22:18

That's good Falcon, rest well x

TheFalconsmistress · 05/09/2013 22:24

Thanks everyone no way I would get through this pregnancy without you all really want the roller Coster to end now xxx

notsoold · 05/09/2013 22:26

Hi all!!!
I am still lurking around...33 weeks and baby is still breech ( slightly panicking about it).
My gestational diabetes is more under control but will have a scan next week to check size again....
M&S for bras and debenhms are awful and actually I don't know where to go for my nursing bras...
I am loving reading about the bags and gearing myself to start on then soon....need to find nighties ( cheap ones)

roxvox · 05/09/2013 22:28

Glad to hear things are looking better falcon, fingers crossed you'll have an uneventful night and that little Willow stops worrying her Mummy so much!

Are these Bravado seamless bras the ones that you were all chatting about on an older thread? I seem to remember someone saying they were available in John Lewis and that they were amazing - is the one that smitten has linked to the same? I ask because I am off on a shopping jolly tomorrow (first day of maternity leave) and I might feel obliged to treat myself to another nice nursing bra.

Last day of work today, 2 weeks annual leave now and then my maternity leave officially starts when I am 38+4. Everyone in the office was lovely and they made me a party lunch (which is very sweet, especially when you consider I work with all males who I know would've preferred a trip to the pub). A colleague's wife knitted me loads of things (teddy comforter, socks, booties, hat, cardigan and blanket - pic on Facebook) which I thought was so sweet, especially as I have never met her. I genuinely feel like I am going to be missed, which is a lovely feeling. But saying goodbye to a few of the guys was quite hard because we've grown very close over the past few years!

Whoever said about shooting pains low down - yes, me too. Only started today, and they're most apparent when I am walking around. Someone's midewife's description of a fist punching a hand made sense to me Smile (sorry for lack of relating this to people on the forum, but I can't remember who said what now).

That's great news, falcon. Weekly CTGs will give you peace of mind with your lil monkey. You are in the anterior placenta club, right? Any word of a 38 week induction, or do you hope to avoid that?

nat I know. Tomorrow... Hmm

MotherOfNations · 05/09/2013 22:30

We really do need to have a post natal thread. I've become to attached to you all for it to stop once our babies arrive.

claphammama · 05/09/2013 22:34

good news falcon!

and please don't start the postnatal thread until we all have our babies... please don't abandon the late October ladies too early Sad

Smitten1981 · 05/09/2013 22:34

Rox, yes it's a Bravado seamless one. So comfy, I ordered another one straight away. They do them in John Lewis too.

OrangeBlossom2 · 05/09/2013 22:35

Good news falcon. Glad they did it tonight so you can relax a little overnight. Good that they are monitoring you, they seem to be looking after you. Not too long to go now!

HeffalumpTheFlump · 05/09/2013 22:37

That's fantastic news falcon I will keep you in my prayers.

roxvox glad my appointment with the midwife has been helpful for you about the cervix issues. It's really not very pleasant, but it's good to know its all normal.

I'm also putting my head in the sand re packing my bag. I have pretty much all the stuff, I just don't know where to start! It seems like an endless list.

I haven't sorted my nursing bras either, but am actually quite excited to measure as I have a proper bust for the first time ever! Are these bravado bras ok for smaller boobs or are they just for you big busted ladies?

To the poster who mentioned her cankles upthread, you are not alone! My feet and ankles are blurring into one fat swollen mess!! Lovely! Hmm

TheFalconsmistress · 05/09/2013 22:37

36+5 tomorrow so nearly term. She is measuring 41Weeks but no noise of induction yet tomorrow I should know more when the doc comes around.
Ds wont sleep with me not at home he will be terrible at school tomorrow Sad

We need a post natal thread for sure I would be so sad without all of you xxxx

Pinkforboys · 05/09/2013 22:38

Evenin' All,
Who was it bought a Bugaboo at John Lewis and was looking for price matches? I've just found Lesters who seem really cheap and it looks like they have a shop too.

G'Night x

MotherOfNations · 05/09/2013 22:39

No intention of starting any threads Clapham the last one to have their baby can be responsible for that.

Has anyone else noticed a complete inability to spell the simplest of words since being pregnant? I find that I'm really having to think about my spelling now and often notice really stupid spelling and grammar mistakes when reading posts back. I have to fight the urge to correct every post I type.

monkeytree · 05/09/2013 22:40

Welcome to the new ladies.

Whoever asked about lavender oil in place of tea tree oil way back in the thread, I think I used lavender oil (a few drops in the bath) after giving birth to DD but cannot be absolutely sure (last gave birth 7 years ago).

Natalie - I agree with you, I like to see new born babies in fresh baby grows as opposed to outfits

I've heard the weather is going to change tomorrow - cooler etc and can't wait. It has been a lovely summer but too hot for me. I am hoping the prediction for cooler weather comes true. The heat seems to exaggerate all my aches and pains.

For those who are struggling to get a good nights sleep at the moment (and that includes me) I hope we get at least some decent sleep tonight.

Pinkforboys · 05/09/2013 22:45

MoN blame predictive text (we do!)

Sorry you're not with DS Falcon, you never know, he may be okay.

Heffa I'm with you on the boob front- quite envious of all this talk of big busts and cup sizes. I can't get that excited about bras- I'm just happy that the ones I wore last time still fit!

AnythingNotEverything · 05/09/2013 22:47

Notsoold - I've looked everywhere for nighties and found nice plaid/tartan, brushed cotton button through ones at tesco and just this week at Primark. Nice dark colours.

Just waiting for my changing bag to be delivered then I can wash and pack them!
