Hi,
I just wanted to post a message of support to all of you out there suffering with morning or rather all day sickness! I am pregnant with my third child and have always suffered with it. This pregnancy I was so desperate as when I was not being sick I felt sick 24 hours a day. I tried everything, seabands helped a little as did a morning sickness hypnotherapy cd I bought. Then I tried acupuncture with an experienced acupunturist who had experience treating women with morning sickness, I got her number from the Yellow Pages. I really could not believe the difference within a couple of days I felt fantastic, all trace of sickness gone and now at 18 weeks I feel full of energy and really well. It was the best £40 I have spent in ages, I would recommend trying it to anyone out there suffering, I wish I had tried it sooner. Hang on in there it does get better!!

Just discovered I'm up the duff again I am feeling rotton since sunday and miserable at the thought of trying to look after 2 toddlers with this constant nausea and so tired. last night a friend was telling me about her accupuncture treatment being great. I don't like the sound of it but if I can muster up the energy to arrange it I will.

Can someone tell me how to search for any messages that are about mettalic tastes in early pregnancy?

WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair · 06/07/2006 18:50

for other sickness tips try here

I've heard good things about the acupuncture, also homeopathy from a professional homeopath.

(of to search metalli go to the search bit, type metallic in the search options and select all the areas you want to search in, I usually just copy all across- far quicker)

Apparently the best thing is to suck a lemn (yuck) but it is fairly normal to experience the taste: for all mine it was the first sign of PG

Well i seem to have been permanently pregnant for years, I haven't had metallic taste this time (yet) but have previously. I usually manage the sickness by eating and drinking small amounts constantly. And trying to rest. At least with me it passes at the second trimester. Some poor things are sick for 9 months. of course its all worth it but i am yearning for an easy life!
