Yikes norks, 2 months! What are your Christmas plans? I hope someone else is cooking?

Good luck today sinks.

Nokkie73 · 28/10/2013 11:55

Ma Noks is asking Mr Marks and Mr Spencer to provide us with food from their glorious food emporium twonks. They are most obliging and will even provide a free bottle of wine if you order within the next week. I intend to do nothing except waft about looking fat and eating large quantities of cake.

How are you feeling ? Has it sunk in yet ? drizz 'n' draff what about you two ? S'nice that you are here Grin

Where is jeff ? Hope you're ok if you are lurking. I think that you did brilliantly with the nork feeding, considering how hard you found it. Is mini-jeff on the bottle now ? Oh, and I think that GP deserves a punch in the neck for not helping you whatsoever when you went to see him.

faif how is your nipper getting on now ?

fox how are you now ? Has the bleeding eased ?

Hi to everyone else. I couldn't get into work because of my trains so I am at home. What a shame Grin Grin Grin

A very active little boy!

Don't think we could have avoided finding out, he was flashing for all to see!

??

MyNameIsWinkly · 28/10/2013 14:26

sinks that's wonderful news, congratulations :)

Nokkie73 · 28/10/2013 15:05

sinks congratulations on one for team blue !

FrankelInFoal · 28/10/2013 15:24

Hurrah for Team Blue! Massive congrats Sinks Grin

SinkyMalinks · 28/10/2013 15:38

Do you know Nokks?

FriendofDorothy · 28/10/2013 16:24

Woooohooooo another BESH boy!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 28/10/2013 16:37

Congrats, sinky! All well with the little man?

Omg noks, that is soon! :)

Feeling flustered, panicked and grateful. And bloody knackered...

SinkyMalinks · 28/10/2013 16:56

All reassuringly average! Head and legs at 70th centile, belly at 35th. I'm hoping he continues to be long and skinny...

I've been calling bump "he" all along, so it's nice to not have to change!

So symptoms kicking in then Driz? Panicked and knackered covered first trimester for me!

Nokkie73 · 28/10/2013 17:15

I know naffink sinks ! We decided not to find out. I was absolutely convinced that I was having a boy for ages, now I'm not so sure. As long as it's ok, I really am not fussed. Went to the GP is morning and seems to think s/he has gone head down. I am relieved as the lazy little bugger was lying transverse for ages Grin. That said, s/he can turn again -it's what happens at 36 weeks which really matters.

driz I know. It's not long now. I finish work two weeks on Friday. I can't wait. I have a mountain of shit to plough through between then and now but I am glad I can pack-up at 34 weeks. I had saved loads of leave for another round of ivf, which is why I am able to go so early.

FrankelInFoal · 28/10/2013 18:02

I'm going on maternity leave at 35+3 as I'm using the whole of 2014s holiday allowance to take February off before leave proper kicks in on 1st March Grin

Nokkie73 · 28/10/2013 18:27

It's the way to do it if you can frank especially as it's our first. It'll be the only time we get to ourselves for about a billion years !

FrankelInFoal · 28/10/2013 18:58

I know! HWHNN asked me if I'd be spending February cleaning the house, washing baby clothes and batch cooking. I said no - I shall be sitting on my arse, eating cake and watching DVDs Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 28/10/2013 18:59

Nice one frank and noks! Good plan to save some hols...

SB decided I am grumpy and weird, I guess that is the panicky part. The knackeredness has been with me for weeks. Been trying to work from home lots so I can sneak a nap in...

MyNameIsWinkly · 28/10/2013 19:09

frank you may find that the nesting urge kicks in and you find yourself wanting to batch cook & wash clothes Shock In between cake eating sessions, of course.

driz I am Envy that you can work from home. My job doesn't exactly lend itself to that! Up at 0525 tomorrow morning, boo. Are you still panicking or has that subsided slightly?

Project Crochet is not going well. I am as crafty as a dumbbell.

FrankelInFoal · 28/10/2013 19:42

I'm half-joking, I do intend to do some cooking - I'm trying to convince HWHNN to buy a small chest freezer for the garage that I can store meals in.

I keep getting a tight feeling just below my sternum. It goes if I sit up very straight - any ideas?

FaithTheVampireSlayer · 28/10/2013 20:16

Yes yes yes to batch cooking meals you can eat one handed - cottage pie, bolognese, chilli, cheese pie! I did about 28 portions, lasted us nearly 6 weeks :)

Frank could be a limb? Or yet another symptom of reflux.

Thanks for asking Noks, Faithlet is doing ok. Reflux continues to plague us but tonight I got her settled without being puked on, woo!

FrankelInFoal · 28/10/2013 20:20

I did think it might be a limb Faith, but seems very high up. I think I'm in de-nile about how big Turnip is by now Grin
Reflux is probably more likely, though thankfully it's not been too bad lately - only on the Gaviscon once a day, if that

FaithTheVampireSlayer · 28/10/2013 20:27

Faithlet's left foot was wedged under my rib cage for weeks! It's not just size but manoeuvrability (?sp), they start to wiggle into all kinds of funny positions.

Oh yes, congratulations to Sinks on a healthy blue baybee! Grin

evilgiraffe · 28/10/2013 20:42

Hooray, sinks! Glad to hear all is well :)

JethroTull · 29/10/2013 12:56

Bloody hell Noks not long to go.

Glad scan went well Sinks - hurrah for another ESH boy.

I am officially exhausted. Am having dog issues & MiniJeff did Not Sleep. Won't bring feed down with my moaning - it's lovely to read all the news about diffed ESH, makes me feel all happy and stuff

JethroTull · 29/10/2013 12:56

**FRED not feed

FaithTheVampireSlayer · 29/10/2013 15:27

Ah jeff you have my sympathies with a non-sleeping baybee.

Tis luffly to see this Fred moving along! :)
