The surprise was that it happened so quickly, and in a month when Mr F and I barely had a chance of an uninterrupted snog. plus I'm still bfing the foxcub. BUt we were sort of trying (or not not trying).

HaveALittleFaith · 10/09/2013 19:56

Howdy ginfox! I only know you from t'other place. I have obviously laid my baybee but still post here quite a bit too much.

I met MSB online sinks!

eurochick · 10/09/2013 21:22

Alright, own up, which one of you is the flower arranger:

FriendofDorothy · 10/09/2013 21:48

The Mister and I kind of met online.

Faify did you meet MSB on Christian Connection?

pinkr · 10/09/2013 22:04

I met Mr df online too...is it just the way things are done these days?

I knew SSG when I was 14. We had a summer holiday snog at scout camp. Fast fwd 15 years & his profile came up as a 'match' on some site. A few emails & a couple of dates later he stayed at my house and never left!

JethroTull · 10/09/2013 22:41

Euro that's brilliant - I wonder if it is actually an ex-PESH WinkWink

Ginfox · 11/09/2013 06:53

I met Mr Fox on Match.com. My subscription was about to run out and I was giving up on the whole business and getting some cats. It's yer typical modern love story Smile

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2013 07:51

Not me euro, I get terrible hay fever! Made me Grin though!

We met on fusion101 - I did free trials on Christian connections and another one but was too tight to pay! Fusion was free. I asked MSB why he joined and he said 'to make Christian friends cos I didn't know any'. Then I asked why he contacted me (he made first contact) and he said 'Cos I thought you were really pretty!' Grin

Does anyone know, is it ok to get piercings done whilst BF?

FrankelInFoal · 11/09/2013 07:55

Depends what you're planning on piercing Faith Wink

FriendofDorothy · 11/09/2013 08:27

I did Fusion101 for a while too. I hated it - thought it was the worst designed website ever!

The Mister and I originally met on a disucssion board, but never really met if you know what I mean, we were both on there and knew of each other's existence. Then a bunch of people from this website camped togetehr at the same festival (apparently The Mister was terrified of me and remembers first meeting me when I was sat wearing stripey PJ,s and stripey wellies, smoking a fab and drinking wine out of a mug!, and we were in that grioup of people. It wasn't until about 5 years after that when he and I got utterly pissed in the beer tent at this festival that we got together.

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2013 08:44

Not nipples Frank! Can you imagine?! Just ears l think.

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2013 08:47

Ps dor what an image! He must have thought you were a well classy bird! :)

SinkyMalinks · 11/09/2013 08:48

BF nipple piercing? That's got to be messy (and painful)

Ginfox · 11/09/2013 10:12

Gotta say Dor, drinking wine out of mugs, v practical. Last time I was out drinking (about a billion years ago) I was so out of practice with long-stem glasses that I kept spilling my prosecco.

MsJupiterJones · 11/09/2013 19:41

Ooh Faith you are in the MN product round up email talking about toothbrushes!

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2013 20:55

Ooh so I am! It had gone into my junk mail. Wow, that's my first MN email mention! Grin

MsJupiterJones · 11/09/2013 22:41

I never used to subscribe to it but I was in it a couple of weeks ago rather sleepily talking about my love for Ewan the sheep - who I do genuinely recommend if any PESH have sleep dodgers! I had never really realised they did those emails, must watch what I say...

Ginfox · 12/09/2013 08:09

Jupiter d'you think Ewan would be any good for a 2yr old? Or better for younger sprogs?

SinkyMalinks · 12/09/2013 08:30

I had no idea what this Ewan the sheep was so googled. Sod the baby, I want one! Who wouldn't want a pink glowing sheep with a heartbeat!

This will be bought...

MsJupiterJones · 12/09/2013 08:38

I think he is supposed to be started young as he is meant to be all womb-y. We do the harp music during story/milk and then the white noise as he falls asleep which kind of neutralises external noise eg cars going past etc. I'm not sure if that would work for a 2-yr-old?

Some people find he is like magic, for some he doesn't work at all. We just found he was good for establishing the bedtime routine (can also take him on holiday) and re-settling when L wakes. And I find him kind of hypnotic...

Ginfox · 12/09/2013 09:14

Oh well, maybe next time.

In fairness the foxcub only woke up twice last night (which in our house counts as sleeping through). So did I make the most of this miracle? Did I bollocks - was awake from 3am with stupid insomnia (another symptom of diffment I appear to have forgotten about).

FriendofDorothy · 12/09/2013 09:43

Ewan made me sleep like a baby, unfortunately it didn't make the baby sleep like a baby. He has been relegated to the pile of soft toys at the moment!

pinkr · 12/09/2013 10:00

We have two ewans! The first was a gift but I was faulty and only played for two mins before stopping...I called the company and they sent another! We have a flock! I like listening to it...little pinky not so much. She has decided sleep isn't a thing she does...awake two hours in the night...projectile vomited over our bed, pooed over everything, wouldn't latch on correctly etc.the joys eh?

OP posts:
pinkr · 12/09/2013 10:02

Oh that's two hours in one stretch...she was actually up four times!
