Help I've been taking Labetalol for high Bp prescribed to me by my doctor. I'm only 8 weeks pregnant and have now just read an article saying not to take this Medicine in the first trimester. I'm so scared! As anyone any positive story's of taking this drug?

Labetalol is I think the only drug licensed for use in pregnancy. I've not read anything about it not being used in the first trimester. This clinical knowledge summary says there is limited data in first trimester but that's the case for lots of drugs. It is the drug of choice I believe.
