Hi Jennimoo, I've just sent you a PM to join the FB group.

jennimoo · 19/07/2013 20:20

All done.

twintrimum · 19/07/2013 20:56

Thank you! Thanks

JammyTummy · 19/07/2013 22:23

Mine is head down I think, with feet by my right rib. Having lots of hiccups really low down (annoying things that they are). She's also got this new trick whereby she jams her feet under my ribs then 'pings' them up. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow.

astroming · 19/07/2013 22:27

MammaG im in Hyde due 23rd September. Home birth session was really informative too.

badguider · 19/07/2013 22:38

I get the pingy rib thing too - on the right only.

My notes say "longitudinal" and "cephalic" or something like that - means vertical and head down.

Thanks for checking ready and thanks kitten, I took the walk a bit slower and it was ok, also got an early train home :)

EmmaDee · 19/07/2013 23:48

Hi all, just back from a wee holiday on the north west coast it was lovely, just a nice breeze, suffering now there's no air at home.

I need to sort the iron out tomorrow, gonna get some if the dilutable stuff.

Scary stuff happened today, one of the guys I work with, Mrs was due two days after me (27/09) but she popped yesterday. Baby doing fine, but scared the bejesus outa me! Must get mire organised!

EmmaDee · 19/07/2013 23:52

Ooh ion I got my first stretch marks this morning, right at my belly button. Any tips for sorting/disguising them?!

I was really depressed when I spotted them, and I've another 10 weeks to go Angry

Kittenkatzen · 20/07/2013 08:03

Yy to pingy ribs, in fact baby is doing it right now - ouch! Also seems to favour the right side and I quite often get a little bum poking right out as if he/she is trying to stretch their little legs in there!

emma that is very scary indeed! Glad all ok though. Will def be packing my hosi bag today!

frogchops · 20/07/2013 08:41

Oh my life that's a dd a week after mine, scary. DP put my mini suitcase that I'm using for a hosp bag up the loft in trying to be helpful and tidying up. Hmm I can just see me climbing the loft ladder in labour :-/
Anyone get bad pain in a morning right low spine area, too of bum. My god it hurts, had to get DP to rub it before I could stand up. I think its from back sleeping though.

Geesescareme · 20/07/2013 10:48

I have woken up with an actual bruise under my ribcage this morning! Ouch! There is no way I can switch to non underwired bras as they'd be on the floor lol!

On happier news my maternity leave starts today as school/work have broken up for the summer holidays! The countdown now officially starts, 8 weeks at home to twiddle my thumbs lol!

CharlW1 · 20/07/2013 13:15

strechmarks under bump, feeling exhausted, thrush, piles, swollen feet and cankles - the joys of pregnancy! though I wouldn't change it for one minute as it will be worth it in a few weeks time Smile

frogchops · 20/07/2013 17:17

Just had a little chuckle at DP for buying me some lovely chocolate from tesco. Strawberry cheesecake flavour.... Although he panicked about the 'cream cheese filling' and asked a woman in there if I could have it!! Grin
The bloody woman said no!
He bought it anyway, knowing I'd scoff it anyway! Blush

badguider · 20/07/2013 18:25

I have FINALY sorted out the last pile of "stuff" we cleared out if the room that is now / will be the nursery.
Phew!

Still no clue really how we'll fit a little person in here and in denial about the fact we will have to move in a couple of years (love this flat and this area) Sad

P.s glad you got your cream cheese filling. Lol about not being able to have cream cheese!

I'm all chuffed because I've managed to get my hb level up to the dizzy heights of 93 (it has been well below 100 since week 10). I have done this by eating spinach every day, one spatone and 3 iron tablets all washed down with orange juice. I'm worried about it because no one else on here seems to be so low. My MW isn't concerned. My GP is going mad and is the one who is insisting of me taking iron tablets. I don't know who to believe.

RunningBear78 · 20/07/2013 18:57

Eek emma that is early! I'm hoping I can put off an early arrival by ignoring the fact that I've only 8 weeks to go ...

geese I've had sore ribs just below the boobs too, and finally converted to soft bras. I'm a bit sad the porn star boobs have gone, but non wired are definitely more comfy!

Well done badguider that was my plan for this avo, but have ended up watching the Para athletics and snoozing on the sofa :/

I can cope with most things but waking up with sick in my mouth is just the worst. Reflux is killing me. I think im on top of it then it sneeks up and yucks in my mouth leaving me feeling sick for hours. Gross. Sad

weebarra · 20/07/2013 19:06

Absolutely knackered today. DH is at the Open today, so took the boys fruit picking. It's v hot and DS1 is really trying my patience. I also have a really sore bit at the top left of my bump which makes it hard to bend. Sad

juniper9 · 20/07/2013 19:53

I've managed to exhaust myself completely today. We're due to move house next Friday and DP has gone out for the day, so I decided to be productive and pack. Definitely over did it.

Is anyone else having a lot of Braxton hicks? I've been having them a lot over the last two days and I'm only 29+6! They don't hurt but they feel uncomfortable.

jennimoo · 20/07/2013 20:17

Juniper - I've not noticed the BH as much for a while, was mid 20 weeks they seemed worse. And if your moving I expect you're feeling them because you're working hard!

My bump has had his first hiccups! After saying that nay be this one wasn't going to get them I have them very clearly, nice and low.

Anyone else having really achy feet? I guess it's because I weigh so much but I constantly feel that I've been standing up too long, even when I get up I the morning...

twintrimum · 20/07/2013 20:50

Juniper, respect to you for moving house. It's hard enough moving between rooms!!

I have achey knees rather than achey feet. Sitting down and standing up makes them hurt because of all the extra weight (scared to weigh myself but probably 3-4 stone). Hoping half of it will go in the first few weeks and I'll feel much better for that.

RakeABedOfTyneFilth · 20/07/2013 21:00

Somebody said to me today she thought she got more painful BHs when she hadn't drunk enough water - could be connected?

I've been at a BBQ this afternoon and got lots of comments, all nice, some a bit more nosey than I like but nothing rude. Off to bed early with a decaff tea now.

frogchops · 20/07/2013 21:15

So I bought some of this spatone, and read that a sachet gives 5mg doses. Then I read my notes which say that the mw wants me to take 200mg three times a dayBlush maybe the sachets were a bit of a waste?!
Yes! To hurty feet! I used to be able to spend at least a couple of hours shopping and now a 10 minute run round a shop is enough. I can't seem to stand on one place for long either :-/ I'm glad someone else has this, thought it was just me!
Have bought nursery furniture today...can't wait for dp to build it and put everything away Smile
My boy is really going for it today, reeeeally poking out and actually hurting me Hmm

frogchops · 20/07/2013 21:18

Oh and yes! Acidy sick creeping up into my mouth is not pleasant, I'm right there with you bear Confused
I did read that sleeping on your left side rather than the right should help with this tho....but it's just too uncomfortable for me Confused

RakeABedOfTyneFilth · 20/07/2013 22:11

We bought this pram/pushchair today - excellent service and all that at Kiddicare Enfield. We already have a maxi cosi group 0 seat which fits it, as the car seat adapters are compatible. The seat unit is really clever, has a clip thing which makes it from a carry cot into an angled seat once baby is beyond lie-flat age.

I am taking one 200mg ferrous sulphate about every other day, just to keep my iron levels topped up, as I have often been borderline anaemic even when not pregnant (heavy periods mainly the cause). I might try spatone in a while, once this tub of pills are finished. I have accumulated a massive stockpile of Berocca for some reason, does that have lots of iron in it?
