My boobs haven't shown any sign of leakage if that makes you feel better Smile in fact I think they've shrunk a bit in the last couple of weeks ...

JammyTummy · 30/07/2013 08:58

wee I hope you're ok! Give us an update when you get the chance!

That dress looks great, but no colours left! Cream is not my strong colour I wouldn't say... I ordered something similar from asos recently which hasn't yet arrived, but it wasn't £4 it was bloody £22! Hmmmpphh...

Been sick the last two mornings in a row (after not being sick at all all first tri). Wondering whether its maybe down to the pomegranate juice I had or whether its just baby sickness.

In boob news I've had no leakage either! I even tried squeezing them (which DH thought was really weird) but still nothing.

twintrimum · 30/07/2013 09:16

wee I hope you got to rest overnight and you can go home this morning.

rake I hope today's course is good.

I'm going to pop into h&m today so see what I can find.

I didn't think I was getting BHs but yesterday I was using the shopping trolley to lean on as my bump kept tightening up a lot. I always put it down to them stretching out rather than the bump contracting in. Maybe a bit of both. I'm off to see the consultant on Friday to agree 'delivery options and plans' so may have a date in the diary soon. Hopefully not too soon! It would still be nice if one of them would turn & give me the chance to do this naturally.

Have a good day, all x

twintrimum · 30/07/2013 09:19

Oh and jammy I've started being sick too. I don't think it's a bug and the 'other end' is normal (tmi, sorry!). I don't know if it's a third tri thing or not.

TripleRock · 30/07/2013 09:30

Jammy and Twintrimum, I was retchy this morning as well but ok after I'd had my breakfast.

Think it's the unwelcome return of preg sickness, brought on by being knackered. Just tossing and turning all night. Amazing combo of painful hips, snoring, burping and acid reflux, sore piles and stinky farting Blush keeping me awake

jennimoo · 30/07/2013 09:55

Well I'm even less mobile today. To add to the probable low BP making me dizzy and SPD making me hobble around, last night I kicked the bin while getting undressed and thought if broken my toe! It's still very painful but managed to walk the couple of minutes round the corner to drop DD at the childminder so hopefully not broken and will be better very soon! I'm just hoping I can drive ok as otherwise I'm housebound :(

kipsonline · 30/07/2013 10:17

Sorry to hear that jenni and hope they let you out weebarra! Hope you survive the course rake, sounds intense!
I had no BH or leaky boobs in either previous pg badguider and ready and the boys came at 37wks so I don't think it means anything preparation wise!!
Thanks for the nct info on fb ready, I'm not doing a refresher so it's really useful to have a quick look to remind myself of what's going to happen.... 15 days now. Eeek.

twintrimum · 30/07/2013 10:20

Oh no Jennimoo I hope it improves through the day. We do seem to be building up that list of niggles & frustrations. Good that it won't be much longer. I don't know how you all cope if you have kids already - I know you have to but respect to you all, I am a wreck without anyone else to run around after.

Triple - yy to the farting! You made me smile, it's like the bump has squashed my backside into a trombone shape! I can't decide if it's a welcome relief from the trapped wind feeling or an embarrassing new problem!

Readytosettle · 30/07/2013 10:49

How long has it been £4 for?? I only bought mine on Sunday and they were def £7.99 then! Prob still time to pick up a bargain if ur near a store...

Readytosettle · 30/07/2013 10:57

Thanks for the reassurance on bh...I don't have leaky boobs either (and yes, I have tried squeezing!). I have developed achey hips in the last week tho (seem worse after sleeping) & am starting to have more broken sleep....

On the upset stomach front, I wouldn't say it's been 'upset' just increased frequency & 'looser'. Altho I read somewhere that you should expect this as 'ur not just eating for 2, ur excreting for 2 too'. Nice.

fl0b0t · 30/07/2013 11:11

D'oh! I think my dress only arrived on thursday and I paid the full whole £7.99! Shocker! Bit light weight and flippy-uppy at the front for cycling in the wind in.... Shock
I've noticed BH when I walk/exercise- just a tight bump, but no pain etc. Leakage wise,a little comes out on a squeeze and my right nipple has leaked excessively three times (on my pajamas thankfully, not at work or anything)

I started sleeping badly about a week ago (I'm usually a total log) and it's pretty stressful!

Still got a bad tummy (bottom end :-S) and my tummy keeps really hurting (too high up to be contractions methinks- just under ribs). A friend of mine told me she had diahorrea for most of her third trimester.... eek! I hope this is a proper bug and not something I'll have to put up with!

Decided not to go into the office today (thought working at home). I've been a bit lax about going into the office recently. Even thought it was agreed that I'd go in less as part of my pregnancy H&S assessment, I still feel guilty about not being in much. Was going to take a proper sick day as I felt like I needed it but after a lie in I felt better.

Less than 50 days until my due date! Eeek!

RunningBear78 · 30/07/2013 12:08

wee how are you doing? Hope all is well ... jenni hope the foot is ok. fl0 keep drinking, and rest up and hopefully it will pass.

on the bottom front ... I've gone from constipation to 4 visits to the loo a day. I suspect much of it may be due to eating lots of fruit and salad since it got all hot and not much else!

I don't think I've had a bh either. Bump seems to be hard all the time!? It gets achy towards the end of the day, but usually at the top which feels like muscle ache from holding the weight (around 2kg of baby now!)

I had a strange night recently; my nose is usually blocked when I lie down, so clearly snoring a bit (delicately obviously) but I kept having dreams about drowning and I think I kept shutting my mouth or something as I woke up gasping for air!? Bit scary.

badguider · 30/07/2013 12:41

2nd nhs ante-natal this'd ending which was interesting - all the different reasons for different interventions. I feel far more happy now that if I need induction, syntocin, forceps, ventous, episiotomy etc then I know the reasoning process going on in my mw's head.

Weird thing though is that I was by far the most pregnant in the room and yet I really didn't look it at all! Even dh now understands what I've been saying all along about being less bumpy than other people.
My MW has never measured me but always says he seems the right size for my weeks. I think he's just too 'inside' me. No wonder its bloomin uncomfy!!

frogchops · 30/07/2013 13:01

I can't find this bloody hm dress. Is it reduced now?? What's it called?

frogchops · 30/07/2013 13:05

Oh I think I found it.... Sold out. Booooo

TripleRock · 30/07/2013 13:44

Frog I was on there yesterday and didn't get 'the' dress but ended up spending £15 on something else that caught my eye. I blame you all!

weebarra · 30/07/2013 13:48

So, still in hospital but will hopefully get out today.
Have had steroids in case baby has to come early but bp has stabilised.

twintrimum · 30/07/2013 14:08

Glad things have stabilised weebarra. is the steroid injection a precaution? Sounds sensible just in case but hopefully you will be home in time for dinner. Huge hugs.

JammyTummy · 30/07/2013 14:48

This is the dress I ordered- it's not quite as much of a bargain as the h&m number but still isn't bad! Comes in grey too.

I just got on the scales fully expecting to be another 5kg up on last time, but I've apparently only gained 500g since the 6th of July?! I thought I was meant to be gaining half a lb a week now!

CharlW1 · 30/07/2013 15:33

Have had a scare today - I'm currently in hospital after having a fairly heavy bleed this morning whole at work. I am at the local hospital to where I work and have to stay in tonight for observations - luckily baby seems to be happy and is moving around list and has a strong heart beat.

Definitely start carrying green notes around - OH had togo and get mine!

Derpess · 30/07/2013 15:47

Weebarra and Charl- sorry to hear you're in hospital. Take care and hope you both get to go home soon.

I had to have steroids after a bit of a scare around 28 weeks- was fine but I needed extra monitoring because I have gestational diabetes and the steroids can make your blood sugars spike.

badguider · 30/07/2013 16:21

loads of positive wishes to those in hospital. must be so scary but you all seem to be doing well.

fl0b0t · 30/07/2013 17:33

Weebarra and charl- hope you're both ok! Lots of positive thoughts to you and babies.....

As we're nearing the end of this next 40 pages... I've sorted a new thread for us:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/1815481-September-2013-Weve-managed-to-hold-them-in

This will be the first thread with actual real life babies in! Eeek!

ION- mothercare still useless! My vest top and Angelcare arrived yesterday (so much for being in, they left them with a neighbour! (and the angelcare wasn't supposed to be arriving anyway!)). Thursday is apparently chest-of-drawers delivery day. We'll see. I'm being a bit mental over my chest of drawers as it's the one thing we now need so that things feel just about "ready". That and some new shelves- I'm going to take Husband to homebase to buy some wood and brackets tonight I think!

My hands are hurting more and more in the mornings- the middle joint on my fingers hurt and feel really stiff :-S Is that Carpal Tunnel? Had no idea it could develop in pregnancy.

Still got a bit of an upset tummy so decided not to go into the office today (after 4 snoozes) but have been on absolute fire today at work and helping everyone else get stuff done. I bet this will end in me being asleep by 8pm....

HettySunshine · 30/07/2013 18:01

Hope all is well weebarra and charl.

Charl, I was admitted after a bleed a few weeks ago and it turned out to be a polyp in my cervix. Completely fine and nothing to do with the baby at all. Fingers crossed it's something like that.

Sending lots of positive saying in type thoughts to you both x x
