Hi

Is there an antenatal thread for March 2013?

If not, can I start one? I've just found out Im expecting our third (and final!!) baby, due 4 March.

Fingers crossed tightly for a smooth ride (I had early bleeds with both my previous pregnancies).

Anyone else out there yet?

Feeling tired and cranky! Having a bit of a wobble about it all and its hard to speak to dh because he is either not here (runs own business, workaholic) and when he is he is tired and cranky too. It's especially bad atm because we are about to go on holiday, and have major renovations done. Lots to be happy about but just wanna blubSad worried about managing two and ever getting me time Sad Sorry to moan (blatantly on a sympathy mission here) but tapping away on my smartphone is therapeutic

Oh had my booking in appointment, my GP was so pleased for me. Got to keep an eye on me though as I have a lot of medical problems but all booked in and waiting for time to tick by!

Been to see a lovely doc today. Mostly reassurance, checking if anything to keep an eye on, blood pressure, midwife's number, and checking how far along. Exactly five weeks today!
Have downloaded a couple of apps to see development, babycenter and what to expect. Come with some quite nice tips etc. anyone else found anything that works for them?

Biggest worry right now, other than miscarriage, is money. We're doing up our house, still a way to go and owe parents money, plus my maternity is rubbish. I guess we'll rub along!

Can someone add me into the list as well as tricky to cut paste on my phone?

Went to doctors appointment today. She was looking over my record and said that because I had a funny blood type, I'd need to get some extra checks done throughout my pregnancy.

She didn't say much else about it and I googled reuses negative and now I've got myself all worked up reading all the things that can go wrong.

Does anybody have any experience of this or know enough about it to explain to me the jist of it.

I can't make head nor tail of it on any of the websites I'm on Sad

May I join?

Tested positive today! EDD 4th March.

I have 2 boys: eldest is almost 15 years old and youngest is 5 months old!

Been terribly nauseous the past 3 weeks - more than with my previous 2 pregnancies. Also knackered and crampy.

My first appointment is next thursday with doctor and already excited about 12 week scan, although trying not to be...

congrats wuxiapain..Smile Great age gaps. Benefits of having a babysitting age sibling and a sibling v close in age! Our little bean is gonna have a bro 2.10 years older, & 3 half sibs in late teens/early twenties. I'm with u on the queasy front though not as bad as some others on this thread. Hope it eases soon

Welcome to the newbies!

I rang my docs today aiming to just go straight to a booking in appt (last time round the gp visit was a total.waste of time), but it has all changed in the last 18 months.

Now I have to drop in a urine sample, they test that, then make a gp appt who then refers me to the MW. What a faff on!
