Hi

Is there an antenatal thread for March 2013?

If not, can I start one? I've just found out Im expecting our third (and final!!) baby, due 4 March.

Fingers crossed tightly for a smooth ride (I had early bleeds with both my previous pregnancies).

Anyone else out there yet?

Anyone elses stomachs starting to seem more than bloat? Not sticking out much but the area right ubder my ribs is now hard and feels a bit restrictive - think my organs have moved up in anticipation!

Stats - sorry can't copy the list, but I'm 31 (for a few more weeks) and my EDD is 9/3/14.

mortified My stomach bloats a bit anyway but I did notice my work trousers seemed less comfortable around the waist over the weekend.

Ive used these EDD calculator things...im confused!
Im shattered and very full looking today, no food excites me, very close to giving up the ciggies and my 16 yr old is happy shes getting quite a few new clothes...
i have a few days off work now which is nice, nausea but no sickness as yet...pretty confident this one is a girl!!
Oh yeah and FI im on my own but in a relationship...dp lives 200 miles away....my best mate of 22 yrs...rekindled love from our teenage yrs...kinda cute!

Was I supposed to have an appointment with the GP? I've got my first appointment with the midwife on the 29th, when I will be nearly 8 weeks and a first private scan the day after when I will be 8 weeks. Receptionist just asked whether I had had a positive test. Got a pack with some paperwork, but I don't get half the questions.

Did another test today and the line is nearly as dark as the control line, which is nice to see, considering that I only got a really faint line last week. Hope that means sprog is getting on ok.

I'm confused! It's been 6 weeks since my last period started. But when I entered my details onto my pregnancy tracker app it says I am 3 weeks!!

Everywhere does it differently Thatsofunny. I just got the pack and the phone number for the midwives and told to get on with it too!

MummyPig your app might be basing its count on when it assumes you ovulated. The Dr will definitely date you from the first day of your last period.

Ok I will go with 6 weeks. I'm pretty sure my dates will be adjusted at the 12 weeks scan. Can't wait to see our little baby on the screen!

My last period was 2/6..so that makes me 6.2 calculator says 5.1 EPAU says 4.4
oh well...hehe...march sometime then!

Mimili I felt exactly the same when I went to the doctors. Still waiting for my letter and the doctor didn't even check I was definately pregnant. All I know is I'm 5 wks and to eat healthy etc.

Thanks everyone for your kind birthday wishes, I've had a good day with my best friend. We went to a spa and had a swim although had to give the sauna etc a miss :(. Also had to swap the lovely massage she had booked for me as apparently they couldn't do it as I am under 12 weeks but the facial was much appreciated too ;-). Today I started the morning with my head down the loo....happy birthday me! Hope everybody's had a good day

Anyone else feeling quite crampy and sore by any chance?

I've been having cramps off and on since my BFP Twinks. I'm operating on the assumption that cramps on their own = stretching/growing but cramps + blood = call the Dr.

I felt quite rough this morning, not sick but a bit queasy. Feel better now I've had a bowl of muesli and a cup of tea. I've got a work event to go to tonight so have offered to be designated driver

twinkly - same here - and my doctor told me the same as what frank said!

snapple how far along are you? i'm a bit worried because in my scan yesterday they could only see the gestational sac, but apparently it's not unusual for how far i am - just concerned because last time i had a scan exactly the same gestation and they heard heartbeat etc!

I'm cramping and starting to feel nauseous!! keep wreching
A friend has also told me she is pregnant so as well as you guys I will have a 'real life' bump buddy!!!

Great news snapple! I've had mild cramps on and off for a week or so. Haven't had them today although I have had a dodgy tummy the last 2 mornings. Still feeling so very tired but only having bouts of mild nausea when I get too hot. Just had some breakfast so I feel ok at the moment.

Toaster I had a scan at about 5 and a half weeks last time and they could only see the sac and they thought I was only 4 weeks. I was so worried especially as I was bleeding a lot.
2 weeks later I went back and measured normally and saw the heartbeat.

I don't have a real life bump buddy. I've only told dh and one friend that I'm pregnant. I'm going to leave telling anyone else for a good few weeks yet.

mummypig. sorry I wasn't clear, I will have a bump buddy. She has told me. I haven't told her yet!!
