Very early days but I'm due 26 January - really expecting early February after being 15 days late with DC1. Thought I'd get the ball rolling Grin

Anyone else?

Bunny. It could be breakthrough bleeding as its around the time of your period. Fingers crossed its nothing to worry about x

Hey bunny. The midwife I spoke with said its really common to have some slight bleeding. She said i should call if it gets wavy or if cramps get painful. Fingers crossed its nothing serious.

Apparentlychilled · 07/06/2013 19:31

Hey all.
Anyone else massively grumpy? DH went out for a "quick drink" after work (after working away all week) and now will be home about 9. And he doesn't get why I'm annoyed. He says it's not late, I said it's not considerate of his nauseous and pregnant wife when he said he'd pick up a pizza if I wanted.
His dinner (well, his share of our dinner) would be in the dog, if we had one.

littlestgirlguide · 07/06/2013 23:43

It seems it's just the coffee making me feel sick. Managed to scoff quite a lot of cake today, at this rate I'll have gained an unhealthy amount of weight by the time baby arrives!

In other news, me and DH are getting on better than we have in months. It's like the BFP has lifted a fog of tension I hadn't even realised was there. I hadn't realised he was stressing about it as much as I was!

barebranches · 08/06/2013 00:36

apparently im massively grumpy. just picked a fight woth dh and now laying in bed feeling Angry for no reason....

Thingymajigs · 08/06/2013 07:41

We are the same littlest. TTC for a year definitely began to take its toll and now it feels like we can relax a bit. Well, once the scan is over anyway.
I've lost 2lbs which definitely wasn't part of the pregnancy plan so I need to up my calories a bit.Biscuit I'm sure by the end of the second tri I'll resemble a baby whale though so I'm not going to worry at this stage.

MakeGlutenFreeHay · 08/06/2013 08:41

aparently yes, I am grumpy. Much more mood-swingy than I was with either of the ther two. Go to bed in the evening vowing to be a more patient and better mother - this morning I broke that vow by 7am after having had both of them climbing all over me for the past hour.... It's a weird feeling, I'm never usually one to suffer from mood swings!

Perhaps it's the current stress as well, being pg after two losses is bound to make me more twitchy. Roll on the scan!

Congratulations to littlest and thingy on your long-awaited BFP. Have a few Biscuits!

lucidlady · 08/06/2013 11:02

Ha DH has told me I am a right stroppy mare at the moment too - must be something in the air!

amicusapple · 08/06/2013 11:18

vix206 · 08/06/2013 12:17

Ooh, you already added me! Thank you!

randdom · 08/06/2013 14:13

I got a positive test last night and again this morning. By my LMP I would be due on the 13th of Feb. I can't quite believe it and with all the things that can go wrong I am just not getting my hopes up. This is our first pregnancy and second month of trying.

Symptom wise my boobs are sore and I am shattered but no nausea as yet

Apparentlychilled · 08/06/2013 16:52

I had a 2 hr nap late morning while Dh took the DC out hut am still pooped! DS hasn't slept yet today and is beside himself (but refusing to go off )- if he does I'm hoping to get another 30 mins.

I can't remember wen the tiredness passed before- 12 weeks-ish, I guess. Only 5.5 to go then...

homebyninethirty · 08/06/2013 19:15

Congratulations everyone! Can I join please? Still in a state of shock because I was doing a naughty early test and didn't expect to see anything...This is our second cycle and first baby, EDD is 20th February.

lucidlady · 08/06/2013 19:43

Congratulations randdom and homebyninethirty!

littlestgirlguide · 08/06/2013 19:45

Wow, homeby, that is a very early BFP! That would make you 3 weeks?
Interesting to see everyone getting BFPs after only a few cycles TTC. Anyone else like me where it's taken 10 months? Glad I didn't hit the 12 months, I was feeling nutty enough about it as it was.
Been out with my Guides (yep, the pseudonym actually means something) today practicing pitching tents and cooking on camp fires and I'm absolutely bushwhacked. Came home at 4 and promptly fell asleep on the sofa for 2 hours, despite DD bouncing on me. Going to have an early night tonight as its DD's birthday party tomorrow and am entertaining 19 3 and 4 year olds for 2 hours!

Apparentlychilled · 08/06/2013 19:52

I know what you mean littlest- when I nap at the moment I seem to literally pass out- my 2nd nap of the day (!) was 90 mins of not even moving. And I think I'll still be ready for an early night! Good luck w your Dd's party tomorrow!

barebranches · 08/06/2013 20:27

im the opposite. not been sleeping well at all. Angry and im exhausted...Sad

spent the afternoon at a party with loads of preg women... wanted to join in the chats.Sad hurry up 12 weeks!!!

bugsyburge · 08/06/2013 20:31

hello. I had bfp this afternoon....think I'm due around end of Feb.

this will be my first baby & its all a bit of a very happy shock even though we have been trying for 6 months

hopefully I can get a doc appt early next week & they can tell me what to expect because I have no idea!!!! Grin

Thingymajigs · 08/06/2013 20:36

I'm not sleeping well either barebranches. I tend to be an early riser but 3 this morning was a bit ridiculous. I've been averging 5 hours a night. Glad I don't have sickness or extra tiredness to cope with on top of that. Hope your sleep pattern settles soon.

Thingymajigs · 08/06/2013 20:39

Congrats bugsy. Smile

OMGherewegoagain · 08/06/2013 20:47

welcome and congratulations newbies!
I too am ridiculously tired and very emotional - don't remember the hormones being so strong last time, but I'm swinging a rollercoaster of tired to cross to weepy. Lots going on at work, which prob isn't helping, but feel rubbish because poor DS is not getting the best of me at the moment....

Like others am also not sleeping brilliantly at night - waking up at 4 and struggling to drop back off, DS up at 6ish. DH was a star and took him out for a couple of hours today, so managed to get a nap and a bath in this morning - luxury. Can't wait for this phase to finish....just read this back and I sound v.moany - sorry....
