Very early days but I'm due 26 January - really expecting early February after being 15 days late with DC1. Thought I'd get the ball rolling Grin

Anyone else?

bugsy with my first i had a doc apt first who just quickly ran thru the do and don't' and they booked me an apt with midwife at about 9 weeks.

vix206 · 10/06/2013 13:39

I've attempted a mass update of the stats list again, any missing details or people - sorry! Its a long list now!!

I'm having hot flashes. Confused I had to tell work I was pregnant because my boss wanted to know why my chest, arms and face had gone bright red. This seems to coincide with dizzy spells. I'm glad I told them though because they looked after me and were lovely.
I hope hot flashes aren't going to a permanent fixture this pregnancy.

Does anyone else just feel really kind of blocked up in their tummy?- I don't seem to get hungry but just queasy if I don't eat carbs every few hours. So far today, I've had porridge for breakfast, toast mid morning and then cheerios for lunch (as the thought of proper food makes me want to throw up).

FloJo151 · 10/06/2013 14:34

hi ladies can I join. just got my BFP this morning Smile . Got 2 ds's already so this will be dc3. Am trying to be very calm about it all but inwardly am worrying lots as had a chemical preg/early mc last aug, Never felt overly worried with either ds's even though I had a little bleeding/cramps with both of them, but the mc in aug has really thrown me. we started ttc last july so this bfp has been a while coming (well for us anyway as both ds's were conceived first month of trying!)
sending lots of hugs to everyone else who's worrying too!

FloJo151 · 10/06/2013 14:35

feekerry · 10/06/2013 14:43

Got my scan date through - 24th july ahhh cant wait!!!! Anyone else got 12 week scan through?

feekerry · 10/06/2013 15:09

whoop whoop!
i just rung the docs and apparently i have to see a doc before i can see a midwife before they can book my scan... so i am seeing doc tomorrow who will book my scan and my booking in apt is 23rd July when i should be around 10 weeks so scan will be shortly after.
seems like a long old time doesn't it??!!

Apparentlychilled · 10/06/2013 15:22

How exciting feekerry! It does sound like ages, but it'll fly by, I'm sure.

My early scan indicated that I was earlier than my dates suggest, which means my 12 week scan will be quite late- I guess end of July or beginning of August even. Anor early scan next week, and midwife at the end of June (which feels like ages away).

vix206 · 10/06/2013 15:51

YY with the queasiness. I have to eat every hour or I feel terrible. Just want carbs. And I can't face proper meals. I was just the same with DS, it isn't fun but I feel lucky not to be actually throwing up.

No scan date yet, booking in appt isn't until next Monday but I will be 12 weeks mid July so hopefully it'll be some time then!

yep, just carbs and fat with both DC. Chips, bread and Greggs' sausage rolls kept me going for 9 months. If anything, it's amazing I didn't end up the size of a house. That said, I only weighed myself once per pregnancy, and then refused to do so again from sheer shock!

OrangeMochaFrappucino · 10/06/2013 16:25

Well I'm over my stomach bug - slept for about two days straight! I'm now freaked out that I don't feel tired or sick at all so am scared my symptoms have vanished. I hate all this worrying! I'm miserable if I feel ill and panicked if I don't!

barebranches · 10/06/2013 16:53

whohooo got my first appointment next week. receptionist said there wasnt a rush (i was hoping for this week!) its all starting to feel real now!!!! Grin

vix206 · 10/06/2013 17:31

I put on 2 stone last time ShockShockShock

All came off very quickly though, DS was a milk monster which really helped!!

i had the hideous hg last time round. hospitalized twice and off work for 12 weeks. i pray to whoever that i don't get it this time. pls pls pls noooo!!!
so far am fine and think it kicked in last time about 5 weeks so its like waiting for a time bomb .....

lucidlady · 10/06/2013 18:38

feekerry my booking in appointment is also 23 July!

Is anyone else finding they're getting really bloated? I don't think I'm even 5 weeks yet but I swear I look like I did when I was 12 weeks gone with DD. argh. How am I goin to hide this????

vix206 · 10/06/2013 18:40

I'm really bloated too. Start the day slim and end it looking 4 months pregnant!!

mrscookie78 · 10/06/2013 19:10

can u join in too? im due number 2 between 8-20th February Smile

tata82 · 10/06/2013 19:33

Hi everyone! I hope I can join you? I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby and it is all very exciting but still very abstract! I have been feeling very tired and I get sick a few times a day, but it doesnt seem to last very long... I have been reading your posts and there seems to be lots of short versions of words... and I do not really know what they stand for! :) are they listed somewhere?

rueyrichardson · 10/06/2013 21:42

Please may I join you too? Expecting DC2 around 10 Feb. Can't remember being so bloated or so queasy this early last time round, although I do seem to remember munching my way through 42 weeks. This time I will definitely not consume so many pies Smile

Ladybee · 10/06/2013 22:33

tata there's an acronyms link in the Talk menu ^ up there ^
Oh I definitely remember the nausea and bloating. DH made a curry last night for dinner, which was nice, but the smell in the kitchen this morning is unbearable. I keep walking in and walking out again.
I've got to go to the supermarket and I have a feeling my trolley is going to be full of salty snacks - I existed on peanut butter last time. Feekerry I hope you don't get HG this time - did you take any meds for it?

SamL88 · 10/06/2013 23:18

I can't believe how bloated I am! It's rather painful by about 9pm and I look like there's a full on baby inside rather than a sesame seed (I'm obsessed with my app about the size I the baby!).
Does anyone else feel like they have period pains/cramps throughout the day? I'm not sure if I should be worried but I've got no sickness, just have cramps that sometimes can take my breath away.
It's so nice to see so many people join!!!

barebranches · 11/06/2013 06:34

hi sam
look up thread. A few of us have this. mine seems to have stopped now but the cramping was worrying. really felt like AF.
ive not really had any new symptoms yet... except being so so tired!

SamL88 · 11/06/2013 07:45

Sorry, I did after I had posted! Hopefully the cramps will die down. I must admit, this week I feel a hell of a lot more 'with it' than I did last week. I had to leave a wedding in order to go back to the hotel and nap on Saturday - I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I have a gig tonight so hoping this new found energy will last until midnight tonight!
