Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
OneLittleToddleTerror · 02/04/2013 16:42

DH messaged and said we got a letter from the hospital. My scan date will be 16/4, in two weeks time! Only this morning I was worried they have forgotten about me. I will be 12+2 weeks at the scan.

BoyMeetsWorld · 02/04/2013 17:17

Oh no sad news today with Purple and Honey, thinking of both :(

How is everybody else? Still feeling sick?

Has anyone developed a really bad pain around the top of one (or both) thighs, like where it joins to the pubic bone? I'm in actual agony when I walk and no clue what it could be?

MummaPanda · 02/04/2013 17:47

onelittle we are scan date buddies!! Grin

retroelle · 02/04/2013 18:31

Oh big bums to purple and honey's news. Thinking of you both.

I was offered the FMC harmony trial but I can't get there during the right dates. I was massively, nerdily excited about it, and I'm gutted I can't take part.

EcoHippyMum · 02/04/2013 18:36

Really sorry to hear that Honey sounds like a he needs to do a lot of growing up! How old is he? Hopefully you can get support and not have to deal with the added stress of him now x

Saundy · 02/04/2013 18:40

Oh Honey what a nightmare. I hope you're ok, at least now you can focus on yourself rather than have your energy taken up by his immaturity. I'm so sorry for you though.

Thanks one that's all I need to know & you're right MissT though its more of a fuzzy layer haha.

BangOn tell me about it!! It was yesterday he found it but the article wasn't posted yesterday. I swear to god if he drops his pants shrugs & says 'I'll take one for the team' one more time....!!!

Can't really hell you on the pain Boy I've had a bit of pain in my thigh but not as you describe. Still sick though. Have only managed a yogurt today.

Saundy · 02/04/2013 18:41

*help I wouldn't want to hell you!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 02/04/2013 19:03

purple so so sorry Thanks take care of yourself

honey really sorry to hear your news too. Hope you are ok.

boy I'm wondering if its SPD. When I had it I had really bad pain in the pubic bone area (none in the thighs though). It was most painful when turning over in bed. It started at 15 weeks for me which is really early. Hope the pain clears up soon.

mine you are do right about breastfeeding and thirst, I never known anything like it.

williaminajetfighter · 02/04/2013 19:06

Just catching up... Purple that's awful news. Was really hoping everyone on this thread would be in the clear.

Dreams, I had bleeding and proper clots too but scan was ok. Stay positive.

Going back to my nap! I'm too old for this ms !! Is anyone else on here freaking out about having a baby!!!!Confused

suprisepitstop · 02/04/2013 19:09

Dizzy81 · 02/04/2013 19:15

Purple kiwi, I'm soo sorry.

Honey, you poor thing. Concentrate on you and the bean.

Work was ok, just got to remember not to get stressed, have a proper lunch break and breath!

Saundy · 02/04/2013 19:16

Oh thank god Will I thought I was the only one TOTALLY freaking out!!!

riverflow · 02/04/2013 19:19

I'm so sorry Purple i have been there too. Thinking of you. It's so difficult and different for everyone.

riverflow · 02/04/2013 19:28

My first preganancy and am 6+3. Dreamt last night that I had plants growing out of my boobs and I had to pull them out and pot them. It was really scary! will and Saundy I am obviously TOTALLY Freaking out! Husband nearly wet himself laughing though. x

MummaPanda · 02/04/2013 19:35

I'm freaking out a little, mainly at the thought of having 2 babies under 1!! What was I thinking?! Confused

Lol at the plant boobs river!

Dizzy81 · 02/04/2013 19:40

River, that made me giggle!!! I once dreamt that jelly bean was a tadpole and I had to insert things into myself to catch it.

THe pooh thing made me chuckle.

EcoHippyMum · 02/04/2013 19:48

Omg I am nearly wetting myself with laughter over plant boobs!!! Sorry I shouldn't, but can't help myself!

BoyMeetsWorld · 02/04/2013 19:49

Ewwww river that dream made me shiver!!!! I used to dream that I had little coney things growing out of my head between hair strands. That was vile too.

Since being pg I seem to have mainly...erm....kinky type dreams blush not sure why?

EcoHippyMum · 02/04/2013 19:52

mumma my eldest two (18 & 17) are only 11 months apart, I didn't find out I was pregnant till nearly 17 weeks gone, the midwives had me sit down as I was so shocked! They said it will be okay, like having twins and I have to say it was easier than I thought, still hard work...youngest was dry during the day a month after her big sister too!

Fairydogmother · 02/04/2013 19:54

So so sorry purple Sad

And hugs to you honey

I am not a well fairy - this chest infection is still raging on and I had to go to bed again this afternoon. Utterly and completely knackered. I've to fly to England with work for the day on Friday and drive too - no idea how I'm going to manage

OneLittleToddleTerror · 02/04/2013 20:04

I'm also feeling very rubbish tonight. Just nauseous and very very tired with no reason other than being pregnant. It was so hard going at work. I'm now under a blanket on the sofa while DH is doing the dishes. I barely ate my dinner too, but craving the icecream. I thought this first trimester sickness was over because I felt human again last week. Can't believe it is back again.

DH has got my old maternity clothes down from the loft. The maternity jeans look a bit loose over the tum still. I guess I will have to find a long jersey to wear to cover up the waist band!

MotherOfCleo · 02/04/2013 20:08

so sorry purple.

honey he sounds like hes being a tool! Men are such hard work huh!

will I am too, I panic when I think alls not ok with the baby, then I panic when I think everything is ok.....eeeek. Im screwed either way!

surprise your mad, my puppy was far harder to deal with than my friends baby (her words not mine). She said that at least babies sleep lots, you get most of the evening to yourselves and they dont pee and poo on the floor, steal food, chew things etc etc. I love our pooch heaps but she was a bloody nightmare when she was tiny.

louby86 · 02/04/2013 20:12

So sorry Purple xx

Hmmhoney, hope you're getting lots of RL support

Surprise - we got our puppy when I was five months pregnant with DS, it worked out really well Smile

OneLittleToddleTerror · 02/04/2013 20:14

Pee and poo on the floor - it's called potty training
Steal food - weaning
Chew things - teething
Evenings - but dogs don't wake up 2-3 times a night. I remember there was a point I considered one waking as a victory!

riverflow · 02/04/2013 20:14

When are you due onelittletoddleterror? Am hoping that you are a good bit later than me (24th Nov) I have no symptoms other than really sore boobs (...with occasional plants growing out of them...). I felt a little sick when husband was cooking black pudding for breakfast at the weekend but that's it.

Hoping I am still pregnant. Had MC at 5 weeks a few months ago, concentrating on celebrating my 6+3 status and beating my record but totally not thought about getting bigger and maternity wear etc. I can't see past the scan date in May, never mind an actual baby! Don't like to hope incase it all goes wrong again.

Anyway sorry to hear that your sickness is back. Brew
