Thanks kyz and taking. Will keep my fingers crossed and possibly do test in morning.

MildredH · 27/03/2013 19:25

Aah the moods. I knew there must be an explanation. I'm grumpy as he'll today. The euphoria has worn off and given way to irritability in the extreme! Poor DH is hiding.

Work are really messing me about. I'm a doctor & there are certain patients I can't see when pregnant. They are trying to make me work horrible shifts over Easter weekend in replacement for night shifts I should be doing now Hmm.

Bad day.

QuietNinjaTardis · 27/03/2013 19:39

Tell them to bog off I know its not that easy hope you don't have to many horrible shifts over the weekend Mildred.

MildredH · 27/03/2013 20:11

Thanks Quiet- have been v tempted. Started several 'bog off' emails today but thought better of it and not pressed send!

Just so short staffed where I work currently and no slack in the system to cover on calls. Moving to a rotation at a new hosp next week so hopefully a bit better.

On the upside it's payday tomo. I feel a celebratory treat coming on Grin

Hi ladies,

I got my bfp last night (and then again this morning :) Still hasn't sunk in! So, baby no 2 due 5th December!

I'm on a mission today to eat the foods that I normally like but couldn't stand the sight of in my last pregnancy. I've been a bit off my food generally in the last week but surely (oh please) it's too early for morning sickness yet?

Comgrats trydrawing. No idea about morning sickness. With ds mine didn't hit until 6 weeks.
Well did another superdrug test and line came quicker and darker than the previous ones. Got Mild period cramps still but no bleeding at all. Keeping my fingers crossed really tightly.

TakingTheStairs · 28/03/2013 15:21

Shootingstarsandcomets · 28/03/2013 19:49

Ooh exciting taking!! Hope my letter comes through soon.

TakingTheStairs · 29/03/2013 04:14

Thanks guys. Off to see a few consultants over the next couple of weeks to decide who is the right fit for me and then it's go-go-go! Hoorah!

Congratulations rylea Welcome to the December thread.

Shootingstarsandcomets · 29/03/2013 07:55

I'm hoping I won't need a consultant this time although mine was a super star. I'm hoping for a smoother ride this time as pregnancy with ds was full of complications. Ended with him being born a month early by elcs want to try for a vbac this time as I hated the recovery time from the c section. Took a week for my milk to come in, couldn't pick up ds for ages, couldn't get into or out of bed at home without severe pain and that was with a top top consultant doing the op in a private hospital! Can't face that and a toddler this time so really hoping they allow a normal birth.

Popscene21 · 29/03/2013 17:06

Hi everyone, lovely to virtually meet you all waves

This is my first step into the pregnancy unknown - BFP this morning, estimate a 1st Dec due date. Petrified and thrilled all in one go, so I'm looking forward to hearing how you're all getting on. Based SW London x

Weaselicious · 29/03/2013 19:09

Hi everyone - found out on Sunday and due 4 Dec (ish). First pregnancy ever(!) am 38, v happy but a bit overwhelmed and over sensitive to every twinge. Lovely to meet you all :)

MamaBlue4 · 29/03/2013 19:35

Guesstimated at 4 weeks, baby due around 3rd December. #excited

MamaBlue4 · 29/03/2013 19:38

This will be baby #5 but the excitement doesn't get any less.

clare8allthepies · 29/03/2013 20:08

Welcome to all the new arrivals!
Got midwife appointment on Thursday, hoping to get referred for early scan. This time I've got loads more symptoms than last time, really tired and very sore boobs, hope that's a good sign!

Gooseysgirl · 30/03/2013 06:34

Hello all, got my BFP on Thurs morning and DH and I are still getting our heads around it! We have one gorgeous DD already who is 13 months Smile This baby is planned but seriously didn't expect to conceive so fast as I'm 37, we got pregnant on second attempt last time - really didn't think we'd be so lucky again. My due date is 3rd Dec. Actually did a test last weekend which was BFN, to make sure I wasn't pregnant so I could have a few drinks at a party... whoops!! Am soooo excited, but equally dreading the next few weeks until the magic 12 weeks... Huuuuge congrats to everyone on this thread so far and here's hoping we'll all have healthy happy pregnancies.

kyz1981 · 30/03/2013 08:41

Congrats to all the new mummy's to be- Told my DH yesterday- now it seems so much more real. I am now hoping that I don't get to sick or show to soon as I don't want to tell family/friends/the kids until I know all is well.

I may go for a private early scan to confirm all is well as I as so big with my son I doubt I will be able to hide it until weeks.

13loki · 30/03/2013 09:17

Hi all newbies.

clare8allthepies Definitely a good sign. I hope. It's what I'm telling myself. Sore boobs and nausea, and darker lines on the squillions of tests I've done in the past week. It has to be a good sign.

I guess I should try to book in with the midwife.

QuietNinjaTardis · 30/03/2013 09:31

Hey everyone. I've told my mum and she is well chuffed. We've also told dh's parents and sisters who are also pleased. Hoping all goes well as still early but poas yesterday and it came up as a dark line again. No cramping or bleeding so fingers crossed.

featherbag · 30/03/2013 09:58

Hi, can I join?! Got BFP this morning, due 7th December after 1 cycle TTC. Didn't think it would happen so fast, I'm stunned, can't even bring myself to tell DH who's sitting opposite with DS (18 months).

LadyMedea · 30/03/2013 10:57

Hello everybody. I'm 4+3 so should be due around the 5th of December me thinks. Our first baby and our first month trying!

Off to see the doc on Tuesday - cunningly had an appointment already booked.

Excited but cautiously at this early stage. Congrats everybody [bugrin]

MildredH · 30/03/2013 11:12

Hi Feather & Lady, Congrats!

All well here although disappointed at how SLOWLY time is passing! Feels like we've known for weeks and weeks but its been 6 days!

Told my parents yesterday. My mum very diplomatically told me that she just KNEW as when we were away for the weekend a few weeks ago I was looking a little 'tubby'. Yes, a few weeks ago probably before conception had even taken place. Wonderful! That said, she's very excited.

Telling the outlaws today as DH feels its only fair for them also to know. Operation great British bake off about to commence in our kitchen in preparation for visitors..

Happy Easter all..

Weaselicious · 30/03/2013 14:16

Time definitely dragging! We're doing a big clear out today which is definitely helping to keep my mind occupied :) x
