I got my BFP this morning and my EDD date is December 5th. Baby number 1.
Anyone else yet?

OK, so now I'm not sure if I made an appointment with the midwife or the dentist. I could cry. I rang the dentist this morning because I forgot when DS has an appointment, but had to leave a message. Now I'm scared they rang back and not the midwife, because a midwife rang me after I had made my appointment.

I can't even try to work out what to say if I ring to check. Maybe I'll pop into the dentist next time I'm passing to check in person. I am an idiot.

Maybe taking, hadn't thought about it really.

I shouldn't really be here as due date is 30 Nov at the moment, but the November thread is crazy and aoif said they all seem way further along so hoping you don't mind if I join you!

I had a MMC in December but feeling much more prgnant this time, and remaining possitive, why shouldn't it work out fine after all? 75% of pregnancies do!

We've booked a scan for when I'll be 9 weeks (26th April) and am really focusing on getting to that now so I can see it's definitely real. Had a bit of queeziness and tights so uncomfortable at work today!

Also I'm 27 and live in South London. Nice to meet you all.

Hello all!

Very excited to find a December 2013 group already. I have never ever posted on an online chat room thingy before so please bare with me!

Had my BFP on Thursday (clearblue estimating 1-2 weeks) have been struggling to work out my EDD is as I haven't had a period since falling pregnant with my son in Feb 2011 but adding two weeks to the 1-2 estimated conception date Im thinking first-second week in December.

I have been really unwell recently and spent most of February in hospital so we only started TTC a few weeks ago and without much hope due to illness and total lack of periods. How shocked was I on Thursday?! dont even know what made me take a test.

Anyway have dr appointment on Fri and hoping for an early scan to give us a better idea of dates.

My son was due the 9th Dec 2011 and born on the 18th and I'm estimating this one will be virtually the same! Another crazy Christmas baby.

Very excited but totally different second time round as have so much else to keep busy I keep forgetting about 'blob'.

Have a lot of anxiety about miscarrying at the moment :-(.

Anyway look forward to getting to know you all.

I'm now convinced that I made a dentist appointment. OMG I suck so much. I did tell the woman who rang that I wanted an appointment with a midwife, I think I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I'm not sure on dates because I just had a mc, so she'll think I was over sharing if it was the dentist! I need to learn this language quickly.

Well loki, you'll either have very clean teeth and a note on your file that you over share a little too much or else you've made a midwife appointment. Guess you'll find out soon

How does it feel more tiring 2nd time round?! Been shopping with my DS & I'm pooped! Bought new pj's & dressing gown and can't wait to get them on... Is it too soon now?!?

Appointment with doc, taken off existing blood pressure medication (which my usual GP had told me was fine TTC, it is NOT AT ALL according NHS web, new doc bit horrified) new meds now three times a day .

Bloods done, booking appointment made for week 9. Hang in there little bean.

How's everyone else doing?

Definitely more tiring second time around discogeek, I think your brain blanks out how bad this bit is so that you do it again! A bit like birth!!! I've had three naps today and am still shattered.

An update- spotting pretty much stopped by yesterday evening. Saw GP today who was lovely and said although too early for scan that he'd do serial blood tests to make sure my HCG is going up.

My boobs were so very tender last wk and that's reduced a lot so still a bit worried but at least there's a plan now..

Shootingstars- good luck with your scan, November-schmovember I think you should stay with us anyway!

I somehow dropped off the list last week! EDD 29/12 baby%232. Just had a lovely Easter with my family - DH and my mum fussing over DS so a major break for me. Not sure if it's Monday blues/ preg hormones but have totally crashed today. DS has a cold so little sleep last night. Nausea and fatigue, a lovely combination. He had his first day at crèche - I am studying and have an exam in 6 weeks. Oh and my boss is avoiding me and any discussion about my return to work.Wait until I tell them I'm preggo!
Sorry for the moan ladies. I hope you are well. My fingers and ties at crossed for Mildred...

Can someone add me please? I am 5 weeks with an EDD of December 3rd. My first BFP after 10yrs TTC.
I am terrified, got Drs appt for next Monday.

Hi enviochick yes I've had abdom pain today too and it's making me feel really crappy. No bleeding so I guess all's ok but am finding this v stressful. First pregnancy so really feel in the dark :(. Hope you're doing ok sending a hug x

I've got aching too.. If we've all got it it must be normal.

Doc did pull a worried face when I said it was one sided... But at the moment I think it might just be wind!

I'm 32 and in Berkshire by the way.

I'm so glad we're all having similar symptoms, defo helps to feel I'm not alone. And yes Shooting - naps are the only thing keeping me going till bedtime! Ive got a day at the zoo with my in laws tomorrow, not sure how I'm gonna get through that without a nap!
Oh and I'm 30 & from Yorkshire

I forgot how bad the tiredness is at the beginning! Yesterday I was ready for bed before the kids :) drinking plenty of water helps a bit though.

Hope everyone's ok this morning. Spent last night having stomach cramps and then dark red bleeding in enough quantities to worry me - quick 4am visit to local cottage hosp, hopefully drs appt today and have scan at 9 on Tuesday but not holding out much hope. Didn't think I could get pregnant easily so feels quite cruel to have the rug pulled like this. Some small chance of sticky bean I guess.

Going to bow out. I wish you all every good thing for your pregnancies and no doubt beautiful babies. Another time for me I guess xxx

Congrats sorrymylollipop! 10 years. Deep breaths and I think we'll all be a bit terrified until scans confirm all is well.
