vix so so sorry.
Take things steady and make sure you see someone if it gets really heavy or bad. In the meantime, lots of hugs from DS and DH.
Sending virtual hugs too

surprise I'm very up and down and hormonal much more intensly this time it seems. I think it's normal to feel a bit down at times as long as it's not overwhelming.

I didn't tell most people until about 17/18 weeks last time as after my previous stillbirth it never felt a safe time. I'm feeling waves of fear already, hoping I can hold things together. Stressing already, I need to slow my head down.

CheeseandGherkins · 26/03/2013 19:59

suffolk dd3 is up, she will come up with me though and she sleeps fairly well then apart from the 2/3 times feeding a night. Far better than she used to be! How old is your dd?

suprise me too 8+3 and midwife tomorrow.

suffolk don't think anyone would blame you for wanting a quiet night after how poorly you've been. Maybe DD has decided she 's going to keep an eye on her mummy?

cheese I think that after everything you've been through it's completely natural to feel how you do. We're all here if you want to talk

CheeseandGherkins · 26/03/2013 20:33

suffolk ah mine is 13 months still. The older ones used to play up something rotten at times and my 6 year old messes around at bedtimes a lot. You definitely have my sympathies!

getoff thank you. It happened just before Christmas so at least I won't hit any of the dates this time, that was really difficult with my last one. I'm hopeful as at least we know why and it can be avoided. I'm waiting for the gestational diabetes to start up again, that's why it happened and also the reason dd3 was so early. Currently watching obem on sky plus from a couple of weeks ago and wondering why I'm doing this again!

Slippysnow · 26/03/2013 20:40

alexandra If your about, on your clomid scan did they tell you how many follicles you had that were 'ripe'. I had 3 2 that were likely to be released 1 less likely. Therefore I had a larger likelihood of multiple births. I kind of forgot about it for ages and ages but as the scan is approaching I've started thinking what if?! Wondered if you had a greater chance too?

Sorry about the sad news, it's so so sad.

MummaPanda · 26/03/2013 21:06

Any of you ladies been watching bedtime live on channel 4? Its really good at getting stubborn kids to bed no matter what age they are!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 26/03/2013 21:07

vix just really really sorry Thanks

Glad dizzy, cheese and stuff have had better news.

PoppySeedBun · 26/03/2013 21:22

slippy I had Clomid as well, and was told there were two follicles likely to be released this cycle. Have had one scan at 5+6 - too early to see anything much, but not sign of twins so far. (Though OH was 'cursed' with badly-tempered triplets by his mum's friend when he was a badly-behaved baby Grin

vix sorry to hear things are still bad - hope that you can get some confirmation one way or another very soon.

cheese glad your scan went well. Starting to wonder if I want to book an extra scan - at the moment, my next one is at 12 weeks, I think.

williaminajetfighter · 26/03/2013 21:36

Vix. I was really rooting for you. So sorry it sounds like things arent working out. Xx

Lozcat86 · 26/03/2013 21:38

So sorry to hear your news Vix, Flowers

harverina · 26/03/2013 22:39

Vix so so sorry to hear that you are bleeding heavily. You are in my thoughts. Life is so hard sometimes. Glad you have your oh and ds taking care of you Thanks let them give you lots of cuddles.

Cheese great news about the scan.

Getoff and surprise...how weird that we are all 8+3 and seeing the midwife tomorrow?! My appointment is at 2.15pm...surely yours can't be the same time?!! Wink

Suffolk I empathise with you re your dd refusing to go to bed! My dd is 3 next week and we still have times like that. Sometimes you just have to give in for your own sanity! (Im inclined to take her into my bed when she is refusing to get into hers so that we all get sleep! Thankfully it doesn't happen often these days) There have been plenty of times where we have been sitting at 9pm with dd sitting with us wanting to play! Generally she is a good sleeper but she has her moments and still climbs in beside us during the night about once per week Smile which is nice sometimes, not so nice when I am exhausted and she is fidgeting!

Theboob I won't give up just finding it hard. I work 29 hours (and the rest!) in quite a stressful job and to be doing this now on top of being pregnant - what was I thinking when I applied! Of course I wasn't pregnant at the time!! The fact that dh has been working away the past couple of weeks isn't helping either but I will keep at it and hopefully u scrape a pass Grin I won't get the course finished but will apply to defer the rest of it once I go back to work after mat leave.

In bed and planning on reading my kindle for a while. Excited to be seeing the midwife tomorrow as it feels like things are progressing - the early weeks drag in especially sonde I haven't had any scans.

Speak to you all tomorrow.

Williamina hope you are ok tonight too. Glad you are getting scanned.

(Btw what's with the reluctance of medical people to scan? Is it a budgeting thing?)
