Good morning ladies!

Congrats on the scans FB & Will Smile & enjoy the scans Dizzy & Cheese!

Also good luck with ofsted Busy (rather you!).

I'm curious to know if people think they look preggers too? I thought I just look a bit bloated but not much else as I've not had much appetite. BUT my pants are tighter!! & DP said I look pregnant (stupid belly booth). I disagree, my clothes might be tighter but they still fit, I'm still a size 8 ffs. It is too early to be showing isn't it?

I'm thinking of telling my parents too Poppy I'll be 8 weeks on Fri and have already seen the heart beat (& once its there its there right?!). How are you going to tell them?! I'm terrified.

Harv its first time for us so DP is coming to everything - or planning to. The first midwives appt is at an inconvenient time so we shall see. Are you ok with DH not doing it this time round?

Saundy · 26/03/2013 07:44

Shit Willina I just saw your post. I'm so sorry, fingers & toes crossed for you and lots of prayers going your way xx

Fairydogmother · 26/03/2013 07:46

William fingers xd everything is ok

Good luck for all those having scans

vix206 · 26/03/2013 07:57

Williamina I'm sending lots of positive vibes your way. I know this is just awful, I hope they can help you at the EPU. Take care xx

stuffthenonsense · 26/03/2013 08:07

Sorry I have missed so much, I've hoped to catch up on the last 11pages by reading the last one!
Williamina big hugs, I hope things are not what you are dreading.
I'm still bleeding on and off, seems my body is telling me complete rest and to guarantee it I am falling asleep before 8pm. I'm awake plenty in the night and the baby is up about 5 but DH has this week off so is letting me sleep in and I'm getting a rest in the afternoons too. No scan available until next week but my midwife is coming this morning. 8+4.

getoffthecoffeetable · 26/03/2013 08:11

williamina do sorry. Sending lots if positive thoughts and prayers your way too. Take care if yourself

getoffthecoffeetable · 26/03/2013 08:12

stuff good thank you're being well looked after. Take things steady

vix206 · 26/03/2013 08:16

Stuff I'm bleeding too since Saturday and also so tired I'm asleep by 8 ( then wide awake by 3) Hmm it's so worrying isn't it, this bleeding. I've had no pain yet but I do wish my midwife had agreed to refer me for a scan. She just insisted the EPU would refuse to see me but looking online that doesn't seem to be true Hmm

Ariel21 · 26/03/2013 08:17

Dizzy Good luck with your scan today. Thanks for the advice re. CBT - I have a book which I've not started yet, but a course would be ideal. I'm seeing my doctor on the 18th so I'll ask.

Will - sending best wishes your way, hope everything is OK for you.

And good luck to everyone else having scans today. Today I will be mostly painting, shopping, sewing and running around like a blue assed fly. For work, not fun sadly!

Saundy · 26/03/2013 08:22

vix could you not get your GP to refer you? Worth a shot surely.

Good luck with the midwife stuff hopefully she'll be able to reassure you.

vix206 · 26/03/2013 08:27

I'm only 6+4 today so I'm going to hang on a few days. Maybe if I'm still bleeding on Friday I will see the gp.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 26/03/2013 08:31

I've missed tonnes.

Vix - really hope the bleeding stops.

*williamina - really sorry you are bleeding it must have been a hideous shock. Will keep my fingers crossed.

dizzy good luck today

I'm 34, will still be 34 on my due date.

Saundy · 26/03/2013 08:41

Well hang in there, hopefully all the tiredness you guys have is your body in double overtime taking care of things. I would defo see the GP on Fri if there is no change. They can refer you straight away if they thing it's needed.

vix206 · 26/03/2013 08:46

I've just had a big bleed after going to the loo. Confused This is just horrible

Saundy · 26/03/2013 08:51

Oh Vix I'm thinking of you, it's so unfair. But it's not over till its over & as long as those tests are positive it's not over xx

williaminajetfighter · 26/03/2013 08:56

shoot, vix that's dreadful. I was told that your GP can refer you for a scan - it really is best for your peace of mind. You must nag.... I know a lot of doctors feel that there's not much they can do and to let things run their course... but sometimes patients need the reassurance a scan can give. x

OneLittleToddleTerror · 26/03/2013 09:00

william and vix thinking of you two. Flowers

JBrd · 26/03/2013 09:05

Williamina and Vix - thinking of you both, wishing you a good outcome...Flowers

SpanishLady · 26/03/2013 09:24

Im keeping everything crossed for Vix and Williamina - I really hope it will all be ok.

Dizzy - happy scan day for you FX

Saundy thanks for the sympathy btw!

ditto Suffolk - my DS (2.4) insists on clambering into bed with us over my very sore boobs! Hes up every morning and by my bedside at 5.30am on the dot - any bets that when the clocks go forward at the weekend he'll be turning up at the new 5.30am - am only vaguely hopeful we'll pass the magic 6am one day.....

OneLittleToddleTerror · 26/03/2013 09:39

Sorry to moan, but I'm feeling really rubbish atm. I'm slumped at my desk, looking like a zombie. Hopefully no one notices Hmm

CheeseandGherkins · 26/03/2013 09:42

Thanks dizzy good luck with your scan too. I'm nearly at the hospital now. My scan is a follow up from 2 weeks ago and I'm terrified. Trying to keep it together.

CheeseandGherkins · 26/03/2013 09:44

Posted too soon.

vix hope you're ok, can you call the Epu yourself?

williamina hoping things go well for you, thinking of you and hope you can get another scan. There is a lot to be said for peace of mind

berrybomb · 26/03/2013 09:52

Morning ladies, I had my blood test this morning, in and out very quickly at the hospital, very impressed!

However I seem to be an emotional wreck. the nausea and general pregnancy feelings have disappeared. I'm trying to stop panicking and I'm hoping it's all in my head!

There's been no more bleeding though, so that has to be a good sign.

And I'm 31, 32 on EDD. Right, best go back and catch up on the last 3 or 4 pages!!
