Hello ladies not updating for myself right now, just wanted to say...

mama you and Alexander are both in my thoughts and prayers. I shall light a candle for you both tonight.

Keep fighting the fight and know that when you are up to it you can come back here and we will do everything we can to support you.

back from my scan - all perfect and wriggling around. The scan was amazing! Femur length above average which made us laugh - I'm 5'11" and my DH 6'5"!
In RL its a surprise, but I can share here that we are having a girl . Glad we found out because we thought it was going to be a boy! Can't wait to buy some non-cream / more girly things now!

Sam thank you very much for updating. Please let mama know she and Alexander are in our thoughts and prayers. We'd love an update when it is convenient.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop Sam. Very best wishes to mama and Alexander. They've both come so far. I know it was always on the cards but can't believe he's arrived already. Huge hugs across the web.

fluffeh hope you do get to see your babe at birth

You say there is a possibility of a guide dog for you soon? When I see those dogs at work for both blind and deaf people I always think they are so incredible. I'm a big animal love anyway but that just gives me even more admiration for them.

Hope you get a dog if that will help you out!

Fluffeh and Trishstar I just met a few guide dogs that had finished training and were waiting to be placed with their new owners. They were fund raising in our town centre. They were such stunning dogs - so clever. I hope you get yours soon Fluffeh and that it really helps with day to day living.

Just popping in to say a big Congratulations to Mama and to send love and wishes for a speedy exit from ITU and recovery from the C Section. Sending lots of positive thought to little Alexander here's to a boring few months in NICU just eating, sleeping & growing!

Love also to you Sam and all of Mamas family including her DS & DD, it must have been a very difficult few months and there will be challenges ahead. Would also like to send a little something, I will PM JacquelineHyde and hope you don't mind her passing on Mamas hospital address? Don't want you to have to PM us all individually Sam.

I think I'm feeling movement at long last. I get the occasional squirmy sort of feeling which I'm hoping is baby moving about. I would love a big kick in the belly that DH can feel just so I know I'm not imagining it.

Hello all. Had my 24 week appointment today. My BP was high so
I'm a little concerned as I had PE last time. I'm being referred to a consultant and need to be seen again in two weeks. Feeling a bit down now.

Wow. Such amazing news about mama and Alexander. I really hope she is OK and able to recover soon and be with her family and new son. So, so pleased to hear that he is doing well.

Perhaps 12/12/12 is a good omen for him?! It's my birthday too and I've had a lovely day so it was great to check in here and get this news. Every year when it's my birthday I will remember that there's a little boy called Alexander whose birthday it is too!

sneezy Sorry to hear about your BP. Shame it will cloud out all the positives but with your experience last time I can understand why. Just try to stay positive. Fingers crossed.

For those mentioning movement. Mine is very active some days and then others does nothing at all. Is very disconcerting. I guess he is being active, I just can't always feel him due to the anterior placenta. And I certainly can't make out which bit of him is where!

Congratulations mama and welcome Alexander. I hope your feeling loads better soon mama and get to spend lots of time with your gorgeous little boy as he's growing.

Guide dogs are amazing, I think I'll have to wait until baby is around 6 months as the training together is pretty intense but it'll happen eventually.

Wanted to share my latest bargain I wasn't going to bother until much nearer the time of needing one but saw a lovely condition travel cot on eBay in my town and bid up to £10 and won it for £8 even dp was impressed with my bargain lol! Best thing was dp got there and the guy gave him a high chair and a bag full of baby toys that he was going to put on free cycle! How very kind!

Congrats Mama, thinking of you both. Quite amazing to think we are all growing something that could actually now be born a little person! I hope you both a speedy exit from hospital, you are both fighters so I have no doubt!
