Hey all,
So sorry I've not been around much, I don't know where the days go?!!
I love the idea of using a sling, never used one but we have both sot fabricy one and rucksacky one donated by SIL so will be giving it a try, I always think babies look so comfy in them and I like the idea of LO being close to me or DH when out and about. That carrier bag is really cool!! I struggle carrying chuldren once they get heavier on my hip due to lumbar back issues, normally end up carrying infront of me. DH has sufered with siatica in the past too. consequently we are both a bit paranoid about spine positioning etc and carrying children on hips is not exactly condusive to spine alignment. I hope our little one isn't a 'carry me' child!!!
New car sounds lovely lexi I've got a little aygo which is very economical although my commute is only 40 miles a day. DH has the Avensis which is lovely! Although an estate, I find it lovely to drive. Buggy won't fit in my minuscule boot, but I'll figure something out, or a car swop will be in order (finding the image of 6"2' DH squeezed into my roller skate car...his commute is only 15 miles though!)
Glad move went well flowery gahh to no Internet though, is broad band not one of life's essentials like erm...water and electricity?!
Our refurb is ongoing......still awaiting kitchen work top as supplier ordered wrong one, for the THIRD time couch delivery next Wednesday and TV cabinet and lamp table on the 20th, so apart from curtains and blinds orangery will be done for Christmas, yeah!!! We are making a start on the nursery this weekend as it is finally cleared out....can't wait event though my decorating will be very limited.
Oh em so sorry you have not been well and you too lauren and anyone else I have missed. I ended up in the assessment unit yesterday as I was having abdominal pain which felt nothing like round ligament pain and was throbbing and shooting even when resting and woke me up in the night. Also very sore when LO was kicking. Dutifully called the unit as told to in my maternity notes and got the most horrid midwife ever (not helpful as I have a "thing" about midwives for various reasons) who kept saying " I can't diagnose you over the phone" and I kept saying " I'm not asking you to, I just want advice" ended up in floods of tears in our secretaries office and then the lead for women's and children's services called by my matron (used to be my boss) and dispatched to "talk" to offending midwife...apparently they are having " issues" with her behaviour. Anyway, baby is fine, I am fine just trying to do too much so I'm off work today under orders to rest. The registrar who saw me said I was the most sensible nurse he'd ever treated, which was a copmpliment as we do tend to self diagnose and treat a bit too much as we don't want to be a "burden"!
It is fine to take gaviscon and lactulose together sheldon
Loving the nipple cream on chapped lips tramp, although not sure I want to know how you discovered that one......
Lots of love xxx
