Walnut8 · 29/11/2012 05:15

That sounds good mama. I hope you get some rest now.

So hot here, I'm feeling a bit unwell ... lo not moving as much today either, hope she's not feeling the heat too much Confused

Hope things are okay with you spotty? How is felix doing? Hope you are getting a bit of rest tonight wherever you ended up staying.

SpottyTeacakes · 29/11/2012 05:41

Hope seconds is getting on ok I wouldn't worry about the yelping internals aren't fun! It's funny because my hospital uses the pessary for all inductions even pre term, or my consultant does anyway. I expect they all have their preferences.

Thanks walnut I've stayed over felt a bit better last night after a shower and seeing dp. Just went to see Felix he had a tiny bit of colostrum through a syringe and got hiccups Grin his sugar levels have been in the 6's as well which is amazing. His breathing still isn't very good though.

Hope everyone's BH are actually doing something! Good news for mamapo too and others I'm sure but I can't remember Blush

Walnut8 · 29/11/2012 05:45

Oh cute (re the hiccups). Must be a good in the breathing department too if he's hiccuping - maybe I'm wrong but don't hiccups develop the lungs? Or maybe that's just in the womb! Confused Glad you are feeling a bit better spotty.

Still waiting for an update from seconds but maybe/hopefully she's getting some sleep while she can!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 29/11/2012 05:57

Aw spotty so glad to hear he's doing well end you're feeling slightly better.

Well I'm awake again. Must have only fallen asleep around 3. So so bored of this non sleeping rubbish!

pidj we'll done on Rafa sleeping in his crib :)

Bellaboo123 · 29/11/2012 06:18

I'm awake too...

Glad you're feeling a bit better spotty hopefully each day Felix is getting there.

seconds good luck hopefully you'll meet your little one today...so exciting!

clarella no sign of sweep working? I never got my boots vouchers either you just reminded me grrrr!

daydream (I think sorry baby brain) what a mother in law! Selfish or what!

Bellaboo123 · 29/11/2012 06:28

Oooh random observation of the day...I only dribble when lying on my right hand side lol?!?! Wtf????

EggsMichelle · 29/11/2012 06:32

Rubbish rubbish sleep, I have cough to hard I've really hurt my throat, feel like I dislodged a lung! Got MW today, maybe she can give my chest a check. I think I only spent an hour asleep in my bed, the rest of the night has been on the sofa and in the bathroom.

Mamapo keep up the positive thoughts, calm and relaxation will help with the BP.

EggsMichelle · 29/11/2012 06:42

Bella I've not noticed a particular side, I think I just dribble everywhere! I sleep with a hand towel to catch it Blush

PurplePidjChickIsNotTheMessiah · 29/11/2012 06:51

He went 2 whole hours straight 4:30-6:30 i feel like a whole new person and am a very proud mummy!

EggsMichelle · 29/11/2012 07:25

Yay PidjChick, giving mummy a break!

itsMYNutella · 29/11/2012 07:31

oooohhh thanks for the Brew for Pidj!
Good to hear pidj chick is sleeping in his crib :)

Slept rubbish and DP snored a bit... But he isn't here tonight :( so tried not to be too hormonal annoyed about it :) last night away before bean arrives.... And just heard there is snow in Nürnberg (where he is off to); it's 3 hours by fast train from us. I'm hoping that, at 36 weeks today, the bean won't be making a dramatic entrance Wink

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 29/11/2012 07:58

Need to do some food shopping today. Also get prescriptions, and hope that I can get syringes from somewhere. The pharmacy I popped into the other day only had 5ml syringes and even then they only had 2. I've got 2 other 5ml ones (from dd's medication when she was poorly) that I need to sterilise, and one 3ml one left. I might ask at the doctors although I doubt they'll have them as they don't give out medication. Confused

Can't wait for the weekend, dcs go to their dad do I get some relaxation time. (although it would be great timing if tadpole could make an appearance so mil doesn't have to be called upon to look after the dcs while I'm in hospital!)

Walnut8 · 29/11/2012 08:34

Stacey sounds lovely - hope tadpole is willing!

nutella have to say snow sounds divine atm ... just made it back from grocery shopping and was getting black spots in front of my eyes. temp here is still almost 30 degrees at half seven (was 40 earlier). Storms tonight and a cool change back to a much cooler top of 33 tomorrow yay! Luckily DH just got home and gave me tall glass of icy water and Lo has picked up a lot.

eggs i hope the cough eases up soon!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 29/11/2012 08:48

walnut where abouts are you again? I know you've said but baby brain and all that?

Awful period type pains walking kids to school. :(

OP posts:
PurplePidjChickIsNotTheMessiah · 29/11/2012 09:00

Sorry for all the people suffering. It is worth it, though.

PidjChick is just having his brekkie then we're off to get him made an ifficial person and spend some present vouchers. First big trip, i might have to feed in public

Cookiesandcoffee · 29/11/2012 09:11

No baby news yet?! Currently sat in day assessment unit.. Why are hospitals 100 degrees?! Signal is poor too so dreading a lot of hanging around.
Hope everyone is well, best of luck on your venture pidj whack um out!!
seconds waiting in anticipation

Clarella · 29/11/2012 09:20

Hope you're doing ok seconds.

Fingers crossed you are well enough to come out mamapo, shame you missed your do but look after yourself.

Great news pidjchick sleeping in crib!

Hope all goes well with your dh s trip nutella and snow not too bad. We had a tiny sprinkle this morning!

Ouch stacey, I'd swap your pains for my now non existent anything! I think the mw held back as she felt I was still all bruised plus cervix still out of reach. All my mammoth bhs on top on concrete uterus have basically been inflammation calming down, uterus reclaiming fluids and gut getting working again. :( still, yes a good chance to chill (floor still needs washing and polishing since builders so that ll help) so going to spend day in town xmas shopping and then running up and down stairs in Baltic gallery with a due date pal. Might freak aquanatal teacher out tomorrow morning by reappearing again!

20% off everything in neals yard in store and online today if anyone wants rlt or xmas pressies etc.

PurplePidjChickIsNotTheMessiah · 29/11/2012 09:22

I shall :o will have dp with me to deal with any gawpers - sil went to 15 months and 2 years with her two, so i know he's used to it, more so than me tbh!

Come on, babies, it's a lovely sunny day and your mummies are ready to play :)

Clarella · 29/11/2012 09:31

This society doesn't see enough bf ing, enjoy your day pidj

A little top up of oxytocin for us:

cute

Clarella · 29/11/2012 09:33

Oh but this is the best!!!!

bf baby

MyDaydream · 29/11/2012 09:38

spotty really nice to hear Felix is doing so well and your feeling better. Hope it continues that way for you both.
Ooo pidj how exciting going to make him official, I'm quite looking forward to that part. Good luck with the feeding in public I'm sure you'll be fine.
I find the selfish cold bringing harder because when it's me I generally tell people so they can choose to stay away or not, and I'd cancel plans until I'm better. MIL can be lovely and we can have a laugh, it's just that's all forgotten when she leaves because of the selfish hard work part!
I've woken up feeling quite refreshed even though I've not really had more sleep than usual, although I'm still in bed waiting for the house to warm up before I get up to do anything!

HoneyMum21 · 29/11/2012 10:07

Thanks all for your thoughts re:hamster. I know im overreacting for a hamster but he was part of the family!

Anyway, all the pains and tightenings are sounding promising. :) can't wait for more babies appearing :)

Hormonalhell · 29/11/2012 10:08

purplepidj ooooh I can't wait to go register my baby although I suspect I'll be going alone (long story, dad never been part of it due to brief relationship) but over that now Smile

Sat here waiting the arrival of my stupidly expensive pram that I paid for over six months Grin can't wait to put it all together although little superstitious about it being in the house Hmm

utopian99 · 29/11/2012 10:16

Really looking forward to registering the Crumb once he arrives too Grin, not sure why but I like all that formal stuff; like signing of the register when we got married... On the bf in public front I'm finding I'm strangely apprehensive, despite not caring when others do it..

clarella that kitten is TOO CUTE!

Hope those with imminent-sounding births do well and lots of babies soon.

utopian99 · 29/11/2012 10:21

Have just received text from DH who is now sitting in A&E having slipped on ice on the way to work while cycling. Sounds like there's a broken hand to fix which is rubbish as he's an architect too.. Have asked if he wants to be rescued but he's being very stoic about it... Sad
