Blush strapped up to a monitor with the cubicle curtains wide open, happily munching my breakfast along with several other ladies and suddenly projectile vomit everywhere poor women, probably not something they fancied viewing over tea and toast!

Jims · 30/10/2012 08:35

The platelets thing was picked up at the 28 and 34 week tests. I've since had it repeated at 36 and 38 weeks. I haven't had the latest 38 week results yet. They only seem to be falling by 5 every 2 weeks so i'm hoping it'll stay above 100...! Apparently in pregnancy there are sometimes just fewer but larger new platelets made. They might recommend giving birth in hospital so i'll be asking for the MLU then too. I've already agreed to a non-natural 3rd stage due to a secondary PPH last time (2 weeks later). I got signed off consultant care back to my midwife who is (so far) all in favour of me having a HB still, although having gone so late last time I still don't really believe in my head I'll actually get one!!

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 30/10/2012 08:44

Oh dear tits that's not the best start to the morning!

Thanks for the luck , I feel I will need it all. I'm so nervous this morning I'm actually retching as if I may be sick and my stomach is churning like a washing machine. Classic nerve signs for me :(

To be at daycare at 10am for the CTG, BP profile etc and then will be going to antenatal clinic. Will update when I can.

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 08:45

Welcome jims.

My brian isnt working at the mo, I need to sit and chill for 5 mins.

Did i have something to say here? I do not know. I will come back when brain is functioning. :)

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 08:49

I have been online and bough dd's chrimbo pressies, job done. phew. no one else will get anything from me!!

I will hopefully get some chrimbo cards posted off this week, maybe tomorrow if dh will do it for me. Better to get them done now for rellies in the uk. It will not get done after the baby arrives! that much I know for sure!

blonderthanred · 30/10/2012 08:50

Hate it when my Brian doesn't work pasties Wink

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 08:51

izzy fingers crossed for you. And tits ((hugs)) for you, vomiting is never nice.

kirrinIsland · 30/10/2012 09:04

izzy good luck :)

tits not a good start to the day :(

I need a working Brian - there's a whole list of things he could get done round this house :)

Christmas cards?? I haven't even thought about that, and I know it'll be one of those jobs that I never get round to. I have bought DD's present though.

georgee · 30/10/2012 09:04

Yes izzy best of luck, look forward to hearing how you get on.

Hope things are moving for you Tits - more in a obstetric than a gastic way, hopefully ...

Reference to your 'brian' did make me laugh pasties. Glad you've got your Christmas shopping done. I must get cracking on that. Thank heavens for the internet.

DesperateHousewife21 · 30/10/2012 09:09

I've bought all ds' presents online (eBay!) luckily he doesn't really understand Xmas properly so he won't know/ care!
I've bought a couple of things for the children in the family but nothing else. Xmas cards will so not get done!

Welcome jims!

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 09:11

oh blonder my poor Brian. Confused

Brockle · 30/10/2012 09:13

I have been stalking you all but still cannot keep up although lots of positive thinking for tits and izzy. Also it is a tad depressing that I have three weeks to go and babies are popping up all over the place.

PGP nothing like the pain that tits amd izzy are feeling but still bloody awful. Having a brief breakfast before going back to bed. 37 weeks today and the hopeful signs from last week have totally petered out. Colostrum from both boobies though Grin

DS1 told me I was beautiful today and then proceeded to tell me how I could be cuter (prettier eyes, less red nose, softer and cuter cheeks) Back down to earth with a bump....

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 09:14

I have to try and be on the ball with chrimbo cards coz they can take ages and ages to reach the uk.

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 09:15

brockle kids!!!

I would like Brian to pop in here too, am nearly done, just hoovering and mopping to get through.

ShellyBobbs · 30/10/2012 10:03

Morning :-) I'm becoming more immobile by the day, no energy and just feeling huge. Good luck today Izzy and yuck Tits

SwissArmyWife · 30/10/2012 10:19

lane me too, I keep willing something to happen!! Are we the only ones due on the
9th? Where's the stats list?!

My bump has dropped so much that it actually looks smaller! And the pressure from baby's head is incredibly uncomfortable. Plus now I have so much room up top I am constantly hungry. I'm craving angel delight, will have to get DP to bring me some home after work!

Iheartpasties · 30/10/2012 10:23

Full moon here this evening, I wonder if it will have any effect?! I just had another crunchie icecream milkshake!? Oh lord I will have so much wieght to shift after this baby arrives!

Titsalinabumsquash · 30/10/2012 10:47

Just been pumped full of anti sickness, I've never had a reaction to morphine before!
They're also sending a handling team to brief the staff so they don't break me during labour.
I'm the only person on the ward now! Clearly an amazing time to induce if my cursed damn consultant was here
Drs this morning (reg) said he could only ok moving it if it was an emergency. Not sure where we stand on the sweep.

wellieboots · 30/10/2012 11:06

Good luck izzy

Is it Wednesday they have said they will induce you tits, or later than that?

I have not even THOUGHT about Christmas, I think it will pretty much pass us by!

Any more babies before November? I am actually due tomorrow but there is no sign of anything, this will definitely be a November bub, as I always suspected! Here's hoping we get another couple of October arrivals!

Titsalinabumsquash · 30/10/2012 11:14

Wed 7th is the current booked in date for induction.

Chunkychicken · 30/10/2012 11:30

As I'm only 37+1, I'm very happy to have a November baby BUT it would be nice not to spend every day with baby's head bearing down, period type pains on & off, backache on and off and determined BH every evening!! [hangry]

I haven't been sent back for any more tests Jim so not entirely sure what they expect to do/say on 2wk old tests. I think I naturally have low platelets- I've always bruised easily, but everything has always been in the 'normal' range. Had a 2nd degree tear with DD and lost a lot of blood, so I may have had the same issue last time but my MW just wasn't as proactive/interested...

kissyfur · 30/10/2012 11:32

Me too shelly! Feel massive, ankles have swollen up now too! Just want to sit and do nothing which isn't really an option unfortunately.

Had some good news this morning, I'm an auntie! My SIL whose waters went a couple of weeks ago had her baby this morning, a little boy Smile he was 5lb 7 so a good weight considering he was born at 35 weeks. All ok but in neo natal and will be kept in for a week or 2
