Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
MrsBri · 03/11/2012 10:11

It's nursery where they get everything! Are other kids there ill too?

Bit frustrating having to take yesterday off though. :-/

Fx she's better very soon.

peardrop2 · 03/11/2012 10:19

mrsbri he did well! Considering it was his first. Lost a couple of points for frying bacon instead of grilling but I forgave him for that ;-) Actually really impressed happy he's cooking a bit more these days! That will be lovely to see baby Bri on screen next weekend Grin although i think you will still worry after :-/ maybe less?! Btw lots of ladies don't start peeing in the night until second trimester so I wouldn't be concerned just yet.

Thun nice one on the sleep :-)

Going into town to get measured...woop woop!

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 10:51

Well, I did read up on miscarriage (I know, I don't help myself) and it said that once you've seen a heartbeat, the chance of miscarriage is much less. So I think I will worry a little less.

Booked for 3.15 next Saturday :-) Nice trip to St Helens. But it is only 50 quid, and no chance of seeing anyone we know!

Nice one on DH. Shame about fried Bacon, but good otherwise. We have an awesome griddle we do bacon on. DH loves it, so don't need to worry about that!

My DH is cooking loads more. Helping more generally. Aren't they lovely?!

Enjoy the measuring! :-) Where are you going?

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 12:04

Nic is that take a peek? That's where I had my 4d with dd it was definatly the cheepest place and they are really nice!

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 12:16

No, it's Hello Baby. Take a Peek was a bit dearer.

Seemed nice on the phone and called no more than 10 mins after paying through PayPal. Very efficient :-)

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 14:08

Ooh exciting about scan mrsB my nuchel should be less than 3 weeks away. So I'm holding on for then.

My big estate skip on wheels car is in the garage until Monday, so I'm driving a little shed on wheels. I have a big car on purpose namely little cars scare me and I can't park them. figure that out I should be getting an even bigger skip on wheels mpv before bubs arrives. Need a 7 seater. I can't wait.

I have fried bacon! We use fry light so doesn't count. Grin

peardrop2 · 03/11/2012 15:06

I went to House of Fraser MrsBri! Spoke to a nice lady about choices and she said it was a bit early for me to go into maternity bras so I got fitted and brought two bras from Calvin Klein comfort range which I'm already familiar with anyway. DH calls it the granny range but its really not that bad! Shocking side is I've gone from a 32B to a 32DD...Wowzis! No wonder I've been so sore and tender Grin

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 15:13

Wow! Impressive increase! :-) I like the idea of comfy bras as my boobs really really hurt now. Will have to look. I have a House of Fraser voucher, so that could be used.

I wish I had a suitable tape measure so I could do mine myself. They seem mahoosive!

Yours will be ginormous come birth!

I started at DD, so I wonder where they will end?!

peardrop2 · 03/11/2012 16:15

I've never been DD before! Glad I wait the 12 weeks nearly 12 because they have been steadily getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully that is it for a while. I also treated myself to a nice ivory top that is slightly baggy to wear with skinny jeans at the baby shower tomorrow. It nicely hides bump :-)

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 16:20

Only 5 weeks til that point for me...will be lucky to still be standing by then!

Your top sounds nice :-) But won't you be announcing it by then anyway?!

I'm going to end up getting fat if I don't stop eating though. But I'm so hungry!

At least the sickness has eased today.

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 16:21

Ah no, not tomorrow!

And another baby shower?

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 16:38

Blimy pear no wonder they hurt squished in a B cup. That is a huge increase.

Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 17:24

Hey all,

I reckon my night peeing is mostly down to drinking more, particularly big thirst in the evenings.

My boobs have gone up one cup size and I reckon they've stopped....for now at least.

Sorry about poorly little one, kitty. Hope that clears up very soon. And frus*, you are mad- I think little cars are just brilliant. But them you like to drive round with spiders as well as dog, children and DH don't you Wink

Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 17:55

Ps, I think most of my symptoms have gone...pretty much in the last two days. Very strange!

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 18:04

Hehe that is true thund plus car seats need to be at least a seat apart due to little monster undoing other people's seatbelts. Big fat dog, and huge buggy, not to mention the mahosive spider that jumped me that time. We just don't fit in anything smaller than an estate or mpv.

Just taken big fat dog for a walk, and relieved to note that he is a true working lab, as he wasn't fazed by the bangs of the fireworks. random plastic bags scare him, but not fireworks Grin

Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 18:43

Wow he sounds better than my dog who goes all highly strung and stressed at fireworks despite having lived through 8 Novembers.

Maybe you should get a car seat for the spider in the bigger car. That should keep it from being too unpredictable.

OP posts:
kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 18:53

Well your nearing 11weeks arnt you thun which is around the time it shouldstart to get better, fx!!
Frus I hate big cars, I think dh was hoping for twins as he wants an excuse for a bigger car!!

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 18:55

Think im maybe 3/4 days behind you thunder, I had a really good day last tue but felt abit grotty again last few days, I don't mind some just the sicky feeling

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 18:58

He used to be scared of the dark as a pup, so I had to run down dark alleys with him, it makes no odds to him now. It must be his breeding as to why he isn't scared of bangs. But save the random abandoned plastic bag fear he's a typical first born cocky and self assured although slightly thick but I'm sure that part's an act
Give your dog a cuddle from me.

Where have your symptoms gone?

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 19:01

Ah kitty big cars are great. My 1st car was tiny and I hated it, had big cars ever since. I can't park little cars.
thund would I need an 8 point harness for my spider seat?

Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 19:04

I'm not sure where my symptoms have gone- has anyone seen them? I don't want them back though

Yeah I think I'm 10+5 ish or a bit less do maybe I'm moving onto the next phase- do I start to glow soon and will I be able to read by it in the dark?

Ps frus, no fireworks here atm so we're both peacefully curled up on sofa. Sounds like you've done a great job helping yours to be more brave.

OP posts:
Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 19:06

8 point harness yes although you could get it to spin its own harness from silk? It's stronger than steel after all...

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 19:31

I didn't deliberately make him run down dark alleys to cure his fear, interesting theory though the only way to grass is thru alleys, he'd stop dead unless i ran with him, he'll still follow anyone who's running.

Jojoba1986 · 03/11/2012 19:51

Thunder I think they're over here. I seem to have more than my fair share! Wink Roll on 12 weeks! Am happy to share! Anyone? No?!

Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 19:54

Oh sorry jojo. Try and shrug em off if you can, they can bugger off disappear quite suddenly.

frus, it worked whatever the reasoning, and that's the main thing. Time to start running in a suit made of plastic bags then?
