MrsBri · 02/11/2012 16:48

Go to their website and sign up for the baby club! :-)

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 02/11/2012 16:51

must. drag. arse. out. of. bed. And eat. And walk the dog.

MrsBri · 02/11/2012 18:03

Motivation is somewhat lacking here too. Though I have gone through my work emails and drafted one witness statement / completed another statement.

I also went into town earlier to pay a cheque in and buy some food. I actually went twice as I thought I didn't have my bank card with me as Bri had taken it from me after I paid for car parking last night and put it back in the wrong place. I ranted at him by text quite a bit. Grumpy cow that I am. Turns out I did have it so ended up doing laps. Good job town is less than a 10 minute walk away!

I also managed to change my name at the doctor's. One down!

Think I may have a nap now. Suddenly exhausted. :-/

merrygiant · 02/11/2012 18:08

Hi everyone! I'm feeling great at the mo!
On Monday I started having some brown discharge (sorry of tmi) in my pants and had a bit of a panic. But managed to tell myself that it can be completely normal and that as it wasn't bright red not to worry. But it was still there on Thursday so I went for another scan at EPAC. I had been booked by the midwife on Weds afternoon and she said I should go to EPAC if I was worried so I did.

And all was well, babe had grown from 4.8mm two weeks previously to a massive 17.1mm Heartbeat was still going strong and I had a trainee sonographer who took ages looking at everything and then printed me off a pic so OH could see butter bean when I got home!

Really jealous of your Muse gig, Bri sounds awesome.

We're probably gonna tell our mates on the weekend, its getting more and more real....

bringonthetrumpets · 02/11/2012 18:54

Yay Merry! Very exciting that you got to see a healthy little bean!

This little bean of mine is making me oh so sleepy and sick. Very hard when you've got two very enthusiastic sons running around the house (and #2 whom is working on toilet training, fun.). I'm so excited for nap time!

I was supposed to tell my mum today but couldn't bring myself to do it. Her reaction to preg #2 was less than stellar and I still very clearly remember it, don't really want to go through that again with this one. She will just have to wait another 3 weeks until Thanksgiving when I'll be mahoooosive!

peardrop2 · 02/11/2012 21:02

merry yay for your happy news!! I had some brown discharge a while ago but it stopped after a day. It's scary isn't it :-/ Great that they have given you a reassurance scan to check all is ok!!

Survived not telling my sister and somehow coped with my rude nephews who don't know how to say please or thank you :-/

11+3 (2 more working days until the scan)

peardrop2 · 02/11/2012 22:06

Ooooooo the next maternity range isn't too pricey and they have some good pieces!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 02/11/2012 22:24

Their under bump jeans are really comfy pear next are generous on their sizing, I had to go a size smaller that what I normally am in next clothing, and still roomy.

peardrop2 · 02/11/2012 22:45

Thanks Frus I might invest in a pair soon!!

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 06:48

I second the next jeans, I got a lovely black pair last time and they stayed nice and black! Personally I hate over the bump ones and I think there's too much fabric in the band, second what frus said about the size aswell, alot of maternity brands I needed a smaller size when I hadn't lost weight and went back to normal size after!
Congrats merry, that's great news!!
Frus maybe we will be due date partners?! I could have been anything from the 20th may but I think mine was 31stmay based on digi test but at the last scan she said the 1st of June, we will see what 12wk scan brings although I still don't have my date yet!!!
The muse gig sounds amazing Nic!!
Well done for not saying pear, lips of steal!!

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 06:51

Balls just lost long message Angry
Anyhow, I second the next jeans, I got a lovely black pair last time that stayed black, I don't personally like over the bump ones as I feel too restricted and there's too much material! I second what frus said about the sizing, I found alot of maternity ones I got the size smaller mamas and papas particulaly!
Congrats on the scan merry. That's great news!!
Frus maybe we will be due date partners, I could have been anything from the 20th may but based on the digi test I did 31st may however at last scan she said 1st June! We will see what 12wk says if I ever get my letter!!
The muse gig sounded amazing Nic!
Well done on keeping schtum pear, not long left Smile

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 06:52

And there's my other MSG grrr, it wasn't there before!!!!

peardrop2 · 03/11/2012 08:13

kitty well we can see that you still have your memory in tact Grin

Morning everyone else, happy weekend! DH is about to attempt his first semi English breakfast. I can hear lots of clanging and banging :-/ I'm hoping this gets things moving for me as I'm soooo sick of being constipated!! Woke up several times in the night with that horrible heavy pain :-(

Has anyone got any nice firework plans? Just aswell our little beans won't be able to hear the loud bangs yet!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 08:22

Ah kitty we will have to wait and see, I expect my scan will date me completely different. And then I'm going to take a week either side and have a due-date-fortnight Grin

Mmm breakfast.

Thundernonk · 03/11/2012 08:32

Morning all. I just slept all the way through til the alarm went off. UNHEARD OF! Didn't have to pee three times, didn't wake being the wrong temp... It's amazing. I almost feel I was robbed of time as I usually get a very good sense of how long the night it. Good though!

Great news merry, really pleased for you!

I'm wondering how long I can make my normal clothes last....I guess it'll be the trousers that will be the main problem. Lots of my tops are v baggy so hope I will be able to save my money as much as poss.

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 09:03

Frus my dd was 3 wks early so due date not a real indication for me either, what were your dds born at?
Thun I hardly bought any pregnancy tops, I made do with normal tops alot or just the odd bargin as and, sainsburys did some long vests in all sorts of colours that were long with quite abit of stretch and I wore them till the end and after just got a size up and wore them with a cardigan, I like tops that are tight over bump though that show your preggers and not maybe fat lol
eBay would be good too as if you think about it these are clothes that have maybe only been worn 6 months

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 09:27

Morning all...MN being a git to you kitty? I'll have to look at Next then, though I'll try to buy as little as possible! Definitely need to look at the bra situation soon though as they won't stop expanding. :-/

Excellent news for you, Merry :-)

How did your DH do, Peardrop? Mine is currently in charge of bacon sandwiches and tea. Nice.

No plans for tonight. It's wet and cold. Though it is my birthday on Bonfire Night, so we should probably do something!

I like a due date fortnight, Frustrated.

And awesome sleep, Thunder. I've still not had to get up in the night to pee. Wonder why? :-/

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 03/11/2012 09:35

kitty dd1 was 2 weeks overdone, and dd2 was a week early. I don't plan on going over again. like I have any control over that

thund you're lucky I was up at 4 for a wee. Which sadly is normal for me non-pg. so not much hope for me on the decent nights sleep front. I feel absolutely dead on my feet this morning.

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 09:40

Poor you, Frustrated.

I went sleep on the sofa at 9.30 last night until just gone 1.00. Then had another 6-7 hours in bed.

I woke up due to throbbing knees / crampy legs at some point, but not too bad otherwise.

I think I'm going to be got soon, surely!

Can you grab a nap today somehow, Frustrated?

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 09:47

No indication for you then either frus I like 3 wks early I denitaltly plan on that again! the best made plans hey, you watch the tinker go over this time!
Nic I didn't start the peeing thing til about 8 wks first time, its a real pain, now if I sleep through I'm ok but as dh on nights and dd still not well everytime they wake I do and have to pee Angry

MrsBri · 03/11/2012 09:56

I knew it'd come, kitty!

Poor you, being disrupted by DH and DD. Is she no better? What did the doctor say (if you've been)?

Need to book my private scan, I think, as I'd like to have it next Sat, bang on 8 weeks.

Hopefully I can worry less after that, assuming it is OK.

kittykatskumkwat · 03/11/2012 10:05

I left it a few days but then they wanted to see her but say aslong as she's drinking plenty of water she should be ok she's seems better then has a bad day so who knows, got sent home from nursery though ao I had to book yesterday off but she was fine Angry
