Welcome Flying! I can't remember if we overlapped on the JSing thread - I was known as south lundon (no space) for a couple of months before I NCd. Add yourself to the stats thread! :)

Stuck can't wait to hear about the scan!

Anyone else watching Masterchef the Professionals while simultaneously munching large packet of Lidl own brand peanut M&Ms? No? Just me then Grin

tiredteddy · 22/11/2012 20:39

Oh hope she is ok then something

wing we are avidly watching masterchef and loving it. Although it makes my dinner of tuna pasta bake seem very rustic in comparison!

somethingwittynot · 22/11/2012 23:14

after my 3 failed epis plus booster shot im never going down that road again i didnt even want the stupid thing. this time time i.will not be a talked into things

MrsBri · 23/11/2012 07:05

Congrats on the new niece, something :-)

And welcome to Flying too.

TGIF ladies! I'm exhausted as all I seem to do after 2am is toss and turn and have weird / vivid dreams. :-/ Not much of a lie in tomorrow though, as I have my booking in at Ormskirk at 10, and even though it is only about 8 miles from me it can take an age to get there. Another milestone ticked off though. Now to remember my wee sample and my green book!

On another note, my boobs are running out of suitable clothing. My 'too big' bras pre pregnancy are now too small. As are most of my tops. I refuse to buy anything maternity until after the 12 week scan though, so I'll be squeezing into inappropriate clothing for a couple of weeks yet! :-)

Are we all OK today? Any more scans or general excitement anywhere coming up?

Have a good day. :-)

wavesandsmiles · 23/11/2012 10:00

Hello everyone, tentatively making my way to the grads thread after 6 (yes, a little obsessed, I know) second pink lines on ICs Smile Not quite sure how we managed it as I have been sick most of this month so there was very little JSing action Confused Anyway, I am actually over the moon that it will be an alcohol free Christmas, although I shall have to be the permanent "designated driver" so as not to arouse any suspicion amongst family/work colleagues etc. Will add myself to the stats when I find the fred....

Pineapple80 · 23/11/2012 10:13

A big welcome to dlying and waves! Grin

Good luck with your appointment mrsbri! He he I can relate to your bra dilemma! I had to buy some m&s non wired bras in bigger size. They are quite plain but decent and comfy. Also come in a handy 2 pack. Think I will get proper maternity ones later on.

All fine on my end. Sickness still coming and going but mostly fine lately. Still on a mission to pack pack pack over here!

WingDefence · 23/11/2012 10:16

Waves to waves! Congrats on your BFP too! Grin

How exciting, new grads!

The stats thread is here if I've managed to do this right on my phone. Please sign up and everyone else, update your own stats with scan dates/MW appts etc :)

MrsBri, talking of MW appts, how come you have to schlep to Ormskirk? Are you on that edge of Southport so you can't get an appt in SP? Sounds a bit pants Hmm

somethingwittynot · 23/11/2012 10:29

hoping to go see my new niece later!

talking about appointments i have my 28 week mw next week ill be 27+2. then my gtt and 28 week scan on the 5th! booo to gtt yay to scan Grin

MrsBri · 23/11/2012 12:32

Hi to waves :-) I'm still lurking in the JS thread so was expecting you!

What's GTT, something?

And I was offered an appointment which would gave been yesterday, in Southport. At 1pm. I work in Birkenhead, so while work will allow me time off, that time of day wouldn't work as I'd have to do laps to, from, to, from and to. No chance.

The only other appt was 2.30 which also doesn't work! So I'm having it at the maternity unit tomorrow instead.

I'm hoping my follow up appointments can be better timed so I can just have them at home. And with my midwife, as that isn't who I'm seeing tomorrow either.

Looking forward to it. Bit apprehensive too. Though going by my growing breasts and bump, I'm hoping things are all OK. :-)

Persuasion · 23/11/2012 12:51

Welcome waves and flying. I also did something similar flying, coz I was getting too stressed. So glad you got your BFP!

Good luck for all those with upcoming scans.

I also have ridiculous boobs! I had just had a bra fitting and bought new bras before I got pg, now they don't fit. I have one previously 'too big' bra which is now being worn all the time. Think I'll have to go shopping soon. I'm only 8+4, I hope they don't keep growing at this rate, I was 32E to begin with!

Persuasion · 23/11/2012 12:55

Oops. Meant to say congratulations to sil something, I bet you're looking forwards to those baby cuddles! Unfortunately lola always reminds me of that Barry Manilow song about the faded showgirl... Which is a shame coz it could be a pretty name otherwise!

somethingwittynot · 23/11/2012 19:00

im having this random severe stabby pain on the right side near my hip not regular but when it comes takes my breath away and then goes leaving a dull ache till it comes again. any ideas?

imo i dont like gtt is s chavy! glucose tolerance test. you get it your fat and pregnant it checks for gestational diabetiesegnant. its checks for gestatio

somethingwittynot · 23/11/2012 19:02

meants to say! i dont like lola its chavy!

gtt is glucose tolerance test. you get itnif your fat and pregnant it checks for gestational diabeties. not quite sure what my phone did their

CuriosityCola · 23/11/2012 21:42

Do you think the baby is pressing on something or kicking you something?

flyingsprocket · 24/11/2012 09:47

Hi again everyone, good to see some familiar names.

I added my details to the stats page, probably added too many exclamation marks coz I'm still so excited. It's so nice to share with people. Congrats on the niece something don't suppose you're still shagging like something It worked for us in the end!

Trying to get my head around the system here, it's quite different to Ireland where it's mainly consultant lead. Hopefully the midwife will get in touch soon & all will be revealed!

To who & when did y'all reveal your big news?

Pineapple80 · 24/11/2012 09:52

Hi flying, how exciting for you!

Well for me, we haven't told friends and family yet, so MN has been my outlet and have found ti so nice to be able to share with the ladies here. I am just 9+4 so will plan to tell family once we have our first scan...which is in about 10 days time! When do you plan to break the good news? I know everyone is different, some of my friends have told us from the very beginning, others not till 12 weeks after first scan, like we have planned. Either way, it is an exciting time Smile.

Enjoy your niece cuddles something!

What has everyone got planned for the weekend? Hope you all have a good one!

flyingsprocket · 24/11/2012 10:23

Pineapple80 Ideally I'd like to wait til the first scan but my family are all coming over to ours to stay over Christmas, I don't think I'll get away with pretending to drink while they're all here!

Because I'll have to change jobs whilst pregnant I think people will figure it out before I'd like them to.

somethingwittynot · 24/11/2012 11:32

think the pain was just muscles

WingDefence · 24/11/2012 17:43

Evening ex-shaggers!

Well I've spent a bloomin cold and rainy afternoon at Old Trafford and I'm now heading to Wagamama in the centre of Manchester - the traffic though is atrocious!

Glad you're okay Something. If I stand or walk for too long I get an aching pain at the front of my lady bits (low down in my pubes IFYKWIM! Blush) - that's not SPD is it? I'm not going to worry too much, I think it's just one of those things.

Right, typing this in the back of my friend's car is making me feel rough so going to stop now. Hope you all have a good evening.

flyingsprocket · 24/11/2012 17:46

WingDefence mmmmm wagamama. Send me some noodles!

CuriosityCola · 24/11/2012 19:43

Yum, I will have some noodles too please. Grin

Don't know anything about spd I'm afraid.

Hi to newbies. I was about to come on just shagging and go on about there being no such thing as a false positive...six tests! GrinWink

somethingwittynot · 25/11/2012 09:24

anyone know how much weight babies put on at 25-30 weeks? trying to an estimates weight

wavesandsmiles · 25/11/2012 11:13

Morning to everyone. I must confess that having religiously followed the JSing rules, in so much as we didn't think about ov, cycle length etc, I have managed to get through 8 pg tests. 6 ICs said, yes, waves you are upduffed, but I didn't know if they were being honest with me, so yesterday I tried the FRER, and that gave very 2 clear pink lines. Still wasn't convinced, so used the CB digital this morning and there were the words "Pregnant". So, that's that I guess.

We are going to keep it a secret for now though, and, like others, I shall use MN as an outlet, until we have our first scan at least.

I don't know much about SPD, other than it can get really painful (had it pretty bad with DD both before and after she arrived), but the main advice was to avoid stairs where possible, and I had a god awful girdle type thing to wear.

No idea on the baby weight though. Hope you all have lovely plans for today

WingDefence · 25/11/2012 16:47

Hi all - can't type much as landline and internet has gone down and as we're rural I don't have 3G at home on my phone just a little small circle at the top.

Anyway I thought I'd let you know as although my work network is working we all got a warning that our line managers were being told of any attempts to access or swath for sites with dodgy words and I reckon 'shagged' may count so radio silence until BT hopefully fix it!

ChildOfThe1980s · 25/11/2012 18:14

Oh dear Wing :D
