Hi, i was a singel mum when i had my daughter at 16, she's now 7, i am now married with 3 more.
at the time it was hard, as i was kicked out of my family home for being pregnant and my family didn't approve that my baby was going to be mixed race, i was given a council flat, i had some great support from friends, but my baby's dad didn't want to know and still doesn't.
the pregnancy bit was easy, when she arrived it was a shock and i did struggle, i used to just talk to her about what things were and what they did, she was soon bubbling back, i would say getting into a rountine is important going out to mother and baby groups, thats what i used to do every day, i will take at least 6 weeks before you get into a rountine mind, but it will become easier - good luck
