Your 2yo wasn't born in April too was she kissyfur? Feel its getting a bit too coincidental now - are we leading the same life? Same EDD, same age DD... spooky Grin

And thanks everyone. Just feeling a bit more relaxed now, like its highly likely we'll have a lovely little healthy bundle come November iykwim :)

ShellyBobbs · 10/07/2012 22:47

Caz so sorry about your news. My youngest has my nana's name as a middle name (Jessie) which I actually love, she wasn't born when my nana was alive but we have photos and she knows all about her, she talks about her nana Jessie as if they had actually met.

I was going to comment on something else but can't remember what, I usually have 2 windows open when I type on here and comment as I read through and catch up.

The thought of shopping in the Next sale makes me shudder, I'd actually rather go in when it's quiet and pay full price, that's how much I hate shopping for anything Shock

ShellyBobbs · 10/07/2012 22:48

Hubby keeps calling me big tits! To be fair, they are actually wider than my body now and an E cup. They look ridiculous........

GTbaby · 10/07/2012 23:25

So jealous of u buying stuff. Have decided I'm going to next sale this weekend to see what baby stuff I can get. Then going to leave it at my dmums. So mil will not find it Blush

Also. (feel free to laugh). Twilight is out 2weeks after I'm due. In mil customs me or baby r not aloud to leave house for 6 weeks Angry I am gutted as by time I can go out, nowhere will b showing it. Y do I put up with her? Sad

TheDetective · 10/07/2012 23:33

Fuck that GT

Do what any self respecting woman would do! Sneak out Grin

Teenage rebellion required here!

Evilwater · 11/07/2012 06:07

The detective, and DH21,
I'm also tired all the time. How are you finding work? I just can't run around like I used to. Last night i drove home in my socks as my feet were aching, and made supper. Then I fell asleep on the sofa!
I swear it's the early shifts that I'm doing. Know for a quick snooze before work.

Lilliana · 11/07/2012 07:37

I'm actually feeling better atm (not sure how long it will last).

I did my pilates DVD on Mon night, hurt my hips while doing it and thought I was going to suffer but as soon as I stopped and stood up I could walk without pain for the first time in about 6 weeks! Couldn't believe it, also had the best nights sleep as I wasn't woken up evey time I turned over so think this is why I'm feeling like i have more energy. Feeling more pain this morning so will have another go this evening and hope I get the same results.

Thanks for the comments on mat leave. Had a quick chat with school yesterday and they seem fairly chilled about things - not too worried about the mat b form (I won't get it until after we break up) and they already have a mat leave cover sorted to start in Sept so I will be floating around and covering people which means if I have to leave early it won't be a major problem to a class.

Glad all was ok at the scan Chunky

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/07/2012 08:05

fatima with ds we didn't go on hol til he was 11 months as that's just when our honeymoon was and that was Spain so quite hot. I wouldn't really want to take a baby any younger than that somewhere hot, it's alot of hassle before they can really do their own thing too.

evil I don't work so on that count I'm ok, I honestly don't think I'd cope I'm just too tired.
I went to sleep at 9pm last night to try and catch up.

GTbaby · 11/07/2012 08:28

detective. It gets worse. We live with her. So I can't sneak out! I do feel like a teenager rebelling and being naughty. Doing things behind her back lol. Just the way it is Sad.

She spends half the year in India. So not too Bad. But don't see her nxt visit happening till January!

Off out baby shopping today on my lunch break Wink going to have a look in next n check pencil markings. See if it's worth getting up early on Saturday Grin.

ditsygem · 11/07/2012 08:31

Me too on the tiredness front! By the afternoon at work I am so tired I just want a nap. and who ever it was that was talking about London commuting (sorry can't remember who that was now!) I am one of those silly people doing it every day! It's not fun, but at least now I am noticably pregnant I get offered a seat quite alot which is lovely and so needed!
I fell asleep on the sofa last night and my DH was like "oo your going through one of your tired cycles again". Yep, it appears that tiredness from the first trimester is back - but I think this time its due to not sleeping well at night.
Congrats chunky on a lovely scan - and well done at staying team yellow, can't wait to see what all the yellow peeps have when the babies arrive, and to see if all of us pink or blue teams are correct!

Dixiebell · 11/07/2012 08:32

Glad I'm now part of a lazy placenta gang Hmm. We can compare placenta positions in a few months' time - a race to the top?!

I will be going on hols to France when bubba is 6 months. But being DC2, I'm a bit more confident about how much work it'll be etc. We took DS to Cornwall at 7/8 months last year, it was a good time as he could sit up, eat, and beginning to walk holding fingers. But would be hard work somewhere really hot. Holidays definitely aren't a relaxing experience any more, focus is on keeping little one entertained for maximum amount of time!

Dixiebell · 11/07/2012 08:37

Oh also, coccyx pain anyone?! I've been in agony for a week now. I commute an hour to London once a week and I think last week I must have sat awkwardly on train, plus sitting in meetings all week. Thought it would just go away but looked up and it can be a pg symptom, I really hope it doesn't continue for the next 5 months!! What with my nighttime hip pain too. The only position to sleep in which doesn't hurt my hips is agony on the coccyx, tge only position that doesn't hurt coccyx kills my hips!! Not much sleep for me then, plus add in DS waking at 4.45 yesterday, I think am due a holiday...!

ValiumQueen · 11/07/2012 08:40

Lots of great tips, thank you! Pillowcases for Moses baskets, having two pages open at once... Wish I knew how to do that!

I use single sheets for junior beds - gives a nice little ridge all the way around so they do not fall out! (tight arse)

Growth spurt major from 20 to 22 weeks. I am 24 weeks now, and am feeling better.

2 year olds are soooo tiring! Lots of ability, speed, and no sense whatsoever! I am however finding the 6yo more challenging - like having a stroppy teenager already. I thought my tiredness was my age, so I am quite encouraged you young things are feeling it too.

I looked out the boy clothes yesterday - DD2 had to try them all on, then wondered why she could not breathe. I have six big pampers boxes worth, all like new, so well chuffed. Up to 6yo! I even have early baby stuff, so will put that on baby doll to get the girls used to the idea. Baby likely to be a big one, so unlikely to be used by him. Not many sleep suits, so will ask folk to get them if they are looking for ideas.

Is there a subtle or acceptable way to ask for specifics? With the girls we had so many tiny posh outfits that never got worn and we needed things like socks, bibs, nappies. With my parents they asked, my inlaws asked and completely disregarded what I said, so I did not dare mention it to anyone else. Obviously what we really need with this one is wine, pâté and soft cheeses. If you drink wine after last bf of night, then it is fine in moderation. Trouble is, when they are new, there is no such thing as a last feed.

ShellyBobbs · 11/07/2012 08:55

Lol Valium my first 'last feed' with my first was at 13 months old! Little devil didn't sleep at all through the night until then Shock

Lilliana What DVD is that, may look into using it if it works, but no way when anyone is in the house, I would get the mickey taken out of me so bad :)

Hubby said it's like 'Shelly's gang' when he's home. He was talking about a zoo in Italy feeding the animals ice-lollies because it was so hot, he said something about lions and bears, all at once we started singing 'lions and tigers and bears OH MY!'. This is me and the 3 babas singing it over and over, louder and louder at him, he said we always gang up on him but they'll never do it to me when he tries to start start something. That's because I grew them Grin.

ValiumQueen · 11/07/2012 09:08

Mine were both sleeping through from 7 weeks so I was very lucky indeed. I took DD2 camping at 6 weeks, and almost every week after until it was too cold. Babies can be very portable, but I would not dream of going abroad with one until at least three.

eversomuch · 11/07/2012 10:11

Congrats, Chunky. I've updated the stats for you.

In case anyone's interested, LOL, we've currently got:

21 Boys
14 Girls
11 Surprises

There are quite a few still unlisted (I may have missed your post-scan posts), so feel free to update or PM me your details. There are still several scans to go -- good luck to all of you!

kissyfur · 11/07/2012 10:23

Haha chunkychicken it does seem abit that way eh, but no my DD is a February babe Smile

Good tip on the pillow cases for Moses baskets! Thanks

Haven't bought any baby stuff this time around as we are team yellow, have so much girls stuff and am thinking this one will be another girl so doesn't seem much point. Might have to buy a few boys sleep suits just in case tho!

Catbag · 11/07/2012 10:37

Forgot to mention- I'm Team Pink and Blue Grin

Thechick · 11/07/2012 10:44

My scan is next Wednesday, woohoo!! I think I'm the last.

Catbag · 11/07/2012 10:49

Wow, just checked the list and I'm already there- very efficient!

My raspberry Out n About 360 Nipper has been delivered today and I am absolutely over the moon with it! I bought second-hand (DH keeps clutching his chest when I tell him the prices of things and I really don't think he's doing it for comedic effect) but it's in really good nick and the reviews that I read regarding how light it is were absolutely spot on. I managed to find two matching out n about footmuffs on ebay for £40 too, so all in all I am thoroughly delighted (if such a thing is possible- 'delighted' is probably a binary state :) )

LittleLolly · 11/07/2012 11:08

everso please can you update me... Boy! I'm on iPad and don't know how to do it.

I'm very excited about the next sale... My mum gave me her VIP slot so I'm booked for 7 am tomorrow. Had a look at the preview and there's some gorgeous stuff I've got my eye on, if it doesn't all go this evening!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/07/2012 11:13

Yes I heard there was a big growth spurt around 21 weeks so maybe that's why alot of us are feeling tired.

It's so nice wearing mat clothes now and actually filling them out and looking preg instead of podgy.
Someone in Dorothy p's yesterday said 'how do u stay do thin while pregnant?!' I just said thank you and nervously laughed!

horseylady · 11/07/2012 13:53

Well just had mw appointment, 3rd one I've seen in 3 visits!!! Anyway I'm fine this one didn't really seem to know anything about my gp surgery though!! 4 weeks to the next one!!

shanelle5 · 11/07/2012 14:49

Just looking through the previews for the online NEXT sale as I have a slot booked tomorrow, and I notice they have a Phil and Ted adventurer or a symbio B system.
Both are on sale for £220.00 which from what Ive googled does seem like a bargain. I wondered if anyone has any experience of either pushchair and coukd either recommend or dissuade me from buying either, I have NO clue its been nearly 10 years since I looked at pushchairs/travel systems Confused
