Mollusk · 22/06/2012 08:11

I'm not - no nausea or aversions either! And I don't feel like I have to pee much more than usual. But plenty of other symptoms - and I had an early scan so I know it's in there. Still unnerving, though.

Swanlike · 22/06/2012 08:18

Hi, can someone add me into the list, as I'm on my phone. My PC at work is far too public to be looking at MN!

Name: Swanlike
Lives: Cambridge
DD: 5th Feb
DC: none

Something - I'm feeling strangely better - the bloating has gone down, not as tired, not so many odd twinges and no MS yet. When does the MS usually kick in? I'm 7.5 weeks.

Going to see the midwife at the doctors on Tuesday for my first appointment. Not sure what happens after that re scans.

SBC - I'm so sorry to hear about your bad news and hope that you're managing to cope.

Leftwingharpie · 22/06/2012 08:26

Somethingwitty I haven't had any nausea at all. My boobs are slightly heavier and quite tender, and I have to get up to pee in the night, and I start to get tired at about half seven and am usually in bed by half nine, but other than that, I feel absolutely normal.

somethingwittynot · 22/06/2012 08:41

ive got stabby itchy nipples the squits tierdness need to pee sleep and eat! with DS my sickness kicked in at 8 weeks and never went till he was born!

i was induced with DS at 39+5 never ever again! im not allowed to be induced again anyway.

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 22/06/2012 09:00

Morning all, I managed to get some sleep last night, has a lovely jasmine flavoured bath with candles and classical music, perhaps a birthing pool with same would be good for me!

I feel like my symptoms are falling off, boobs don't seem as sore as before, no cramps, squits seem to have stopped (but guess in empty!). I suppose whilst analysing this I am constantly thirsty, that's a symptom, right? Just over a week to my first scan, I can't wait Smile

I checked out my local NHS web and says should see mw by 10 weeks, so I guess there's still plenty of time, but will call gp surgery to check procedures. Annoyingly it looks like I don't have the option to go over the border to the hosp there as I think I'd prefer it Sad I might be wrong though.

SBC x (still in a complete state but determined not to let "people" ruin my pregnancy)Wink

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 22/06/2012 09:15

Crikey everyone is up early today! I'm
Off with ds but it's raining already wondering how to entertain him
All day, he's already tried to eat cat food. I feel like crap and just want to sleep but that won't be happening!!

zanywany · 22/06/2012 09:25

Glad to see you got some sleep last night SBC hope your OK.

I've hardly got any symptoms either, was nearly sick yesterday but only because I had a coughing fit, almost want to get ms just to feel pregnant. I brouht my GP appointment forward and so seeing her today, could only see the not so nice doctor though.

Told my parents last night, wend doen like a lead balloon so feeling a bit upset/deflated today

carries · 22/06/2012 09:27

mollusk - my health centre gives us an 8 week midwife appt but only if handed in a sample. I think it must vary from region to region. I'm sure if you have any concerns they would speak to you over the phone. Congratulations btw :)

Mollusk · 22/06/2012 09:55

Thanks, carries - I may call if I haven't heard anything in a week because I am flying at 12 wks and want a scan so I can bring it to show my family! All being well, of course...

morecoffeemorecoffee · 22/06/2012 10:01

Sorry your family didn't take your news well zany hope you're ok.

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 22/06/2012 10:24

Zany, keep your chin up, it's probably just a shock for them they'll come round. X

I think it is a shock although I have always said I would like more children. Think they are a bit old fashioned unsure because I'm not married yet, we are dur to get married next summer. Already heard the words 'but how will you cope with 5 kids!' although my SDS are only with us one sleepover a week.

Can't get over how many of us are due next Feb

Pinkie29 · 22/06/2012 12:01

Just seen the mw! She's put my due date as 10th grrr lol! She said due to the long cycles it could be different but my first scan should tell them more, I'm pretty positive it's right tho as I know when I ovd

somethingwittynot · 22/06/2012 12:22

im still waiting for my early scan appt boooo! Sad glad MW went well pinkie

zanywany · 22/06/2012 12:42

Just seen my GP and she has given me a date of 10 Feb too Pinkie which would make me 7 weeks but seen as I had only just come off the pill I don't know how long my cycles were, I think I am really 5-6 weeks. Just waiting for MW appointment now. Think I will sneakily go along with GP dates so I can get an earlier scan

Pinkie29 · 22/06/2012 13:06

She mentioned an early scan but I'm not fussed tbh as there's not much to see, will be patient!

Sonics · 22/06/2012 13:10

Just phoned the community midwife team to book my first appointment. I've got one on 24th July when I'll be 10 weeks. I would have liked an earlier one but they only do them on Tuesday's and I can't do the previous 2 so 10 weeks it is. She also booked my scan date for me, so that's something to look forward to.

somethingwittynot · 22/06/2012 13:45

my scan at 9 weeks was amazing just seeng that little heartbeat flickering away

morecoffeemorecoffee · 22/06/2012 13:56

Glad your appts went well pinkie and zany

When's your scan sonics ?

morecoffeemorecoffee · 22/06/2012 13:59

I'm desperate to get my scan date through. I really want to know how many weeks I am and get a proper due date!
