Day 4 of squits here! Bloating gone though!

somethingwittynot · 21/06/2012 18:41

my poo has never been the same sine i contracted c-diff

orangewellies · 21/06/2012 18:43

Hula I actually think for me the nausea is def the worst part of pregnancy and birth - the labour is horrible in a different kind of way, but at least it doesn't go on for 14+ weeks - last time I was just so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired! Hang in there but I know the feeling - just unrelenting feeling sh!t is rubbish. At least you're 8 weeks, so if you're lucky only 4 weeks to go - I know I have the worst to come as i'm not even 6 weeks yet.

morecoffee i'm having pizza and NO salad tonight and can't even blame DH - I just can't be ar5ed to cook anything and am in on my own. oh and did i mention the choc bar for pudding Wink. I have had some apple today and a strawberry yogurt towards my 5 a day Hmm (i am actually quite good normally so i figure as long as i take a pregnacare as well then one day off the veg won't hurt!)

orangewellies · 21/06/2012 18:44

oh no, still bloated here - i'll look forward to the squits in a few days then...

morecoffeemorecoffee · 21/06/2012 18:54

Grin at orangewellies I know how you feel. I'm really not enjoying cooking at the moment. Just thinking about good makes me want to be sick. Maybe I will need to get my slow cooker up and running-minimal effort required! It's certainly the weather for stews and casseroles!

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 21/06/2012 19:05

Bean I have ibs, the good news is in loads of cases pregnancy cures it! (temporarily) mine went completely from about three months on. Was amazing! Dr told me its very common too. Mind gets worse before it gets better but will try and cheer up as hopefully will get a break soon. Grin

FidgetPie · 21/06/2012 19:29

SBC - thinking of you - hope all is ok.

I also have the brushing the teeth gagging thing - weird isn't it. I find if I blow my nose first that helps a bit (my nose is really stuffy at the moment).

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 21/06/2012 19:32

A high level of snots and snoring is also
Par for the course! Envy

Pinkie29 · 21/06/2012 19:51

sbc hope your ok and look after yourself.

I'm off to see the mw tomorrow, we've had a rough two days death in the family and another seriously ill Sad I've barely eaten today just a bit of toast crackers and yoghurt just feel exhausted and sick!

LittleMissSnowShine · 21/06/2012 20:07

sbc - you poor thing :( tbh, it sounds like you just need to get some rest if you possibly can and try and eat/drink something. the baby will be fine - i had HG in first trimester and never ate/always threw up/was stuck in house living in PJs and getting no fresh air and my DS was a huge big healthy lump when he was born. Hope ur able to relax a bit

Sounds like ur having a terrible time too Pinkie, hope you're also able to get a chance to take it easy

Can't remember who said about their DH possibly being able to get in so deep that they can hurt the baby? Wow! Your DH must be...ehhmmm....super man for that to be a concern, lucky u!!!

But as everyone has already said, sex in first/last trimesters really is a personal thing - a lot of people feel nervous/uncomfortable/sick/tired etc and if u don't want to do it, for whatever reason, just reassure your DH it's not because you've gone off him and then put on your best flannel pys, button them up to the neck and slap on a face mask. Even if u don't want to dtd for the full 40 weeks, out of a lifetime together 40 weeks isn't forever - listen to your body! If your raring to go then shag like crazy and if you're not...then don't. Your mojo will come back again when it's good and ready Grin

I've pulled something in my back - i've had trouble with my facet joints since I was pg with DS - hypermobility combined with progesterone makes everything all stretchy and prone to stretching too far. Can barely move my neck and all I've really been doing is a bit of house work and lifting DS. Hitting the bath stat!! Hoping for an early night and to wake up tomorrow and have no sore neck and no bloody rain outside!

A nice new thread.

I have added the person who made the FB group (I can't remember your name on here Blush sorry)

I am on some anti sickness tablets for a few days to see if they can help me keep anything down. I need to see my GP on Monday again to see how I am.

thanks littlemiss I'm ok it was just very sudden, i think it was me that said about dp 'getting in' lol! No he's not superman I have a very ahem Blush 'short' vaginal canal literally put my finger in and I'm at the back of my cervix (and I have short stubby fingers!) cant use Tampax as they end up poking out once they've expanded!

I know I'm just being daft and irrational will ask mw tomorrow

SundaySunshine · 21/06/2012 21:46

Hi all, please may I join?
I'm 7 weeks and strangely symptomless at present, did another test the other day just to make sure I hadn't dreamt up the positive result. I'm pretty sure that I was well into a daily hurling routine by this point last time round.

I haven't told anyone yet, but I'm having a birthday dinner with my bf at the weekend and I might find it difficult to keep shhtum. She'll probably figure it out anyway as she can read me like a book :)

SundaySunshine · 21/06/2012 22:06

This is so exciting! I've added myself Grin

Yeah zazzababs another Scot! "waves" through rain and mist to east coast :)

carries · 22/06/2012 05:17

Oops, sorry spelt your name wrong sazzababs :)

Keep waking early! :(. The nausea with not wanting to eat kicked in yesterday. I had 24 hr nausea with some vomiting with previous 2 pregnancies. As its 5.15 am I'm feeling nagative about being pregnant :(. Panicking about going back to newborn stage, sleepless nights, feeds, postpartum body!! I feel better when DD are up :)

Leftwingharpie · 22/06/2012 05:28

Carries me too, I've been up since 4.20! I'd say don't panic but then Im a first timer, so it would be a bit daft! Smile

Sonics · 22/06/2012 05:52

Morning ladies. Haven't posted in here for a few days. Also been awake since 5. Feeling hungry which is stopping me going back to sleep

carries I'm also a 1st timer so have no words of wisdom, but I do hear number 2 is a lot easier because you know what you're doing and are well practised. Hope you feel better.

I did my clear blue digi yest that I'd saved for a week and it said 3+ weeks (said 1-2 last week) so I was v happy GrinGrin

At least it's Friday. Hoorah!! I'm going to and outdoor concert tomorrow. It's supposed to rain all day (boooo) but have wellies and a good waterproof jacket so should be ok. Fortunately it's not easy to get to so i have offered to be the designated driver. Someone has to do it so no suspicions hopefully

Leftwingharpie · 22/06/2012 07:03

Sonics I barely eat breakfast normally, but I've just devoured a huge plate of cheesy scrambled eggs on toast! Apologies to anyone reading this whose got ms! Blush

carries · 22/06/2012 07:08

Thanks sonics & leftwing. It's my 3rd baby & it's a big shock! So I'm still going through a pendulum of emotions. One day I'm over joyed at having another child, the next I'm panicking about being pregnant, then happy about developing a bump, then shocked again. I know I will be more relaxed with the baby arrives (I hope) but bear with me when I seem negative! I'll be beaming again in a few days time. :)

carries · 22/06/2012 07:10

but I've just devoured a huge plate of cheesy scrambled eggs on toast! - heave!!!!!! Only kidding :) I'm just jealous that all I can manage is fruit & I'm the queen of big breakfasts!

Mollusk · 22/06/2012 07:18

sonics and leftwingharpie - I've been up since 6.45. Really irritating when I've got today off!

This first-timer is getting really impatient to see the midwife. What did women do before they had internet chat boards to allay (or enhance) their fears?! I feel like my GP said "She will call you at 8/9 wks and then first appt will be at 12 wks." Can't be right, surely? Maybe it's a London thing?

Sonics · 22/06/2012 07:32

I have to call the community midwife team today so I'll let you know when my 1st appointment is. It does seem to vary quite widely between regions.

somethingwittynot · 22/06/2012 07:47

anyone else not puking yet? suppose i should enjoy it but i know ive still got time yet! am doing a digi to reassure myself

LoisLame · 22/06/2012 08:11

Morning everyone, hope you're all well.

No ms here yet are but only 4-5 weeks still but the nausea is definitely getting worse. Got a txt from my sister last night and she was starting to be induced as she was due yesterday - exciting!

Got a busy day with 2 job interviews and have decided to tell a friend about the pregnancy. Maybe there nerves will kick off the ms!
