Sorry am on phone at the moment and feeding or would say more but did want to not respond.

tinkcantwaittomove · 24/07/2012 17:54

ginger - :(
sounds like an awful situation Sad
all good hear Grin
summer hols good so far tk girls to the shops yesterday and today we went to the park
so glad weather warm and sunny

Gingerbreadlatte · 25/07/2012 09:06

Thanks guys- BB, Ses and Tink

I could take to HR but then that enters formal grievance territory which I dont really want to do. I had boss issues last time I was pregnant which I had really hoped wouldnt happen again (different boss). Maybe its me that changes....

Thanks for reading my rant :)

How is everyone? very quiet on here. Who is going to the olympics?

Gingerbreadlatte · 25/07/2012 09:08

BB- re your comment about resentment- I had wondered that, or maybe it was jealous- though she prides herself on telling me how she worked up to 38wks, flying here there and everywhere. Not clever- idiotic me thinks!

tinkcantwaittomove · 25/07/2012 11:57

hi ginger

good thanku
we r going to the paralympics

BBwolefs · 26/07/2012 06:35

Ginger reading that she has a child/ren do you think it could e jealousy i.e she wants more? Sounds like she was trying to justify herself with the "im such a hero" type comments. She sounds very strange!

I am also strange it seems, as DS isnt even up yet im awake! Goodness knows why as i was out last night, but i shall just lie here and listen to the sounds of the world waking up Grin

BBwolefs · 26/07/2012 06:44

(and also run out and moved the car as i had to park on double yellows slightly last night! Moving the car in PJs no bra and no shoes - if i carry on like that i'll start to fit in round here!!)

Gingerbreadlatte · 26/07/2012 07:43

ha ha BB- love the idea of the nightwear car move dash! Grin

No idea re boss- she is just nuts!

Have you been given meds for the GD yet? are you testing blood sugars?

I've just had a really high fasting reading (did eat some choc last night Blush ) the rest have been fine so need to monitor it...

BBwolefs · 26/07/2012 08:16

Hehe i did that really brisk walk to the car! Was v glad not to get a ticket, there is such a problem with parking here anyway!

Ive been doing my bloods as and when at the moment struggle to remember have my first GTT 7th so will see what they say from there, no meds yet consultant just said be sensible watch for signs etc. ohh i used to get the same, have your other reads been ok?

Gingerbreadlatte · 26/07/2012 08:47

Phew re no ticket. Its crazy to have to worry about that near your house.

Fingers crossed your GTT goes well on 7th.

Most have been fine around 4/ 4.5 this was around 7. So still in normal range (ish) but high for me and considering i take metformin.

BBwolefs · 26/07/2012 15:16

Thanks me too although they will repeat at 28 weeks lucky me!

Hmm cant comment re metformin as i was only evenlr on insulin nothing after birth.

I got something back today that had been borrowed and it was so filthy Sad ive just spent 40 minutes cleaning it!! Never lending anything to any one again!!

BBwolefs · 26/07/2012 17:59

Ohh should of said I brought my first christmas present today Blush organised haha!

McKayz · 27/07/2012 10:13

Ginger, I'd speak to occupational health. Even if it does nothing to stop your boss being a cowbag, it'll make sure that they're doing everything to keep you safe and maybe a bit more comfy.

BB, I'm having terrible trouble with making things dirty that we've borrowed. We got loads of clothes from BIL & SIL that they want back. So of course DD does huge nappy escaping, explosive poo's when she's in something from them!!

OP posts:
BBwolefs · 27/07/2012 14:34

Kayz if it were clothes i wouldn't mind as that cant be helped. It was a walker and a bouncer, i literally had a knife in the rivets prising out pure dirt, I suppose that mightn't of occurred to her but for the most part she could of just wiped it over but she didn't even do that, bearing in mind it has various parts to it it was all caked in dried food and what smelt like vomit, the seat fabric on both is removable and she didn't even wash that! If we could afford it i would've just bought a new one but it wasn't cheap and we cant throw money away. Luckily I've bleached it all and it is now almost spotless but what really annoyed me is that i had to do that! Took me an hour! And I know before DC 2 goes in it i'll of probably had a few more goes at the toy bit. Maybe its me but i would of been ashamed to return something so dirty.

tinkcantwaittomove · 27/07/2012 15:23

:)

McKayz · 28/07/2012 09:08

BB, that sounds minging. It's not hard to just wipe something over if it gets messy is it? Then it doesn't get really dirty.

It is bloody typical though that DD is making a mess of stuff we're giving back rather than stuff we've bought or has been bought for DD. Smile

That was my thinking Kayz, im just glad its all clean now! Im having a few issues with this friend, we had a mutual friend and since a disagreement with this friend the other friend has been very odd. We're meant to attend two bday parties (not for a few weeks) where the girl who dislikes me plus the off girl and a few other cronies will be attending, and im thinking do I even bother going?! Would any of you?

Hope you've all had a good weekend! we didnt do a great amount although...Blush at the park today a kid of about 13 was behaving awfully to an asian lady. She was dressed in traditional wear, just pushing her DD on the baby swings, this kids was doing what i think her perceived as "gangsta" bobbing about to non appropriate music and started to go between mother and child, in
What seemed to Me an agressive and certainly unpleasant way. I just saw red. Shouted Oit! And marched over an gave him a right mouthful about racism and acting a prat. I was so bloody angry as he was blatantly picking on this lady who was slight anyway and you could visibly see she was uncomfortable, the only difference in her was that she was asian. I walked off to collect my DS, still raging. He then mouthed off to his friends about that "nosey fat bitch" at which point i returned told his friend he was a racist prat and that racism was not ok, and that they should consider changing their friends! Dp then told the offensive child to apologise to the lady and leave etc. he told DP to fuck
Off. Charming. I then apologised to the lady as i was acutely aware that i may have embarassed her. Thankfully she said thankyou not go away you interfering cow.

I swear these things only happen to Me!

McKayz · 30/07/2012 07:14

Well done you!!!

We've had a rubbish night. DDs nose is all blocked up so she's not breathing very well unless sat upright. So we've been taking it in turns to sit with her.

Glad you finally me the MW BB.... feels like a very long wait! yay for sexing scan.. I'm going to guess boy...

Thats minging about the dirty stuff you lent out. So disrepectful to do that. I just dont get that kind of mentality.

Hi tink/ kayz.

Thanks for comments re work. I just need to hang in there a bit longer. Boss is away at the mo, which helps enormously.

Im off to hosp physio today for SPD assessment- turns out they dont see people 1-2-1 now its a class. Hmm I really dont need or want to spend 90 mins being told how to sit and not to push trolleys etc. I need specific help!

Re scans- I need to book a 3d scan before its too late... 27wks this wk! :-o Im also going for growth scan at 29wks... Grin

BBwolefs · 01/08/2012 13:17
