Well we've had a lovely day, although not managed any rest really. But to be fair that's my own fault. After Lauren deciding her normal hours nap first thing was actually going to be a 2 hour nap Shock, we went to pick up my friend and her baby, and took a trip into Halifax. We did a bit of shopping - I managed to buy 3 tops from the New Look sale for £15. Love a bargain! Grin But I tried to get a sports bag from JJB's but they didn't actually have any! Hmm

I've also had the car cleaned & tanked up with petrol, done a load of washing and been for my usual 2 mile walk.

All because [shhhh] IT'S SUNNY HERE! GrinGrinGrin And no that I've said that, of course it's going to chuck it down! I hope you've all got lovely weather too Smile

Lauren's done loads of sleeping today though, so I think she may well be up a lot tonight. I'm praying she's just catching up on last night and the weekend though.

Good luck for tonight Mamma

Rosalie is so lovely, McKayz! shame about the arsenal kit :o

Sounds like an impressively, productive day, Davina.

Not much to report here. Am about to start an aibu thread. Am very scared!

Davinaaddict · 11/07/2012 19:48

Ooh very brave Grin Let us know what you've asked so we can go and tell everyone that says YABU to bugger off Wink Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 11/07/2012 19:53

Have you name changed for it fools? I can't see one by you but there's one with loads of expletives in the title! WinkGrin

foolserrand · 11/07/2012 19:53

my thread :o

foolserrand · 11/07/2012 19:55

I don't do name changes Trouble! Why do you look to me with a sweary thread? I have the voice of a drunken sailor on shore leave an angel.

TroubleAndFyfe · 11/07/2012 20:17

What a charmer your DS is! Grin

foolserrand · 11/07/2012 20:30

Oh that's not the half of it! You'll see soon enough!

AnchorBun · 11/07/2012 21:14

Haha your ds sounds great Fools Grin They come out with some right corkers at that age. DS likes to compliment me on my sizeable tummy and spots Hmm although he did redeem himself today - my wedding dress arrived (squee!) and when I tried it on he said "you look like a lovely princess"! Bless the little brown nose Grin

Was that followed swiftly by "mummy I want a biscuit!"? That's what normally happens here when I get a compliment. :o

I bet you do look lovely in it though!

TroubleAndFyfe · 11/07/2012 22:02

oooooh! How exciting! Grin

AnchorBun · 11/07/2012 23:05

Haha surprisingly no! He just continued diving all over our bed singing 'incy wincy spider' to Lilly. As you do! Grin

I have just (finally) uploaded a couple of recent pics of Fyfe and the one of bun, epic and I!

AnchorBun · 11/07/2012 23:51

I can't see the pics Trouble, can only see your older ones of the (awesome) clothes, owls and monkeys.

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/07/2012 07:12

Had to update your name bun, sorry.
Sad fed every bloody hour and is now up for the day Sad so tired, so cross!Angry

McKayz · 12/07/2012 08:50

Sorry you had a bad night Trouble. I can't see your pics either probably due to new name.

HV is due in 10 minutes. Fingers crossed Rosalie is putting weight on.

ghosteditor · 12/07/2012 08:54

Good luck mckayz and Rosalie!

Sorry I haven't been around much. DD is extremely demanding atm and is waking every 2 hours through the next - am on my knees!

McKayz · 12/07/2012 09:55

Wooo!! She's now 10lb 5oz. So she has put on 1lb 5oz in 2 weeks. HV is very happy with her and me. There's still a touch of jaundice but HV said that's normal with BF babies sometimes. I think I need to realise now that it's not all going to go wrong like it did with DS2.

AnchorBun · 12/07/2012 10:30

Great news McKayz! Well done! Are you feeling more positive about BF now or still not sure?
Hope you're having a lovely time with your DH Smile

Urgh Trouble Lilly does that every now and then still, it's such a killer! Sofa day! Smile
Love the pics! Fyfe is so adorable! I didn't realise DS was pulling that face Grin Any chance you could email it to me please?

Ghost sorry you're still having a hard time, is it the 26(?) week leap or something else do you think?

DP is working late in London tonight so I have a looong day ahead of me, not sure what to do today.
The wedding dress fits perfectly (very proud of my measuring skills!), DP helped me try it on last night (it's got a lace up back so couldn't do it by myself) and he was very happy Grin his mother wasn't impressed that he's seen it already though, I asked her if we'll end in divorce now - no response

OP posts:
MammaInTheMaking · 12/07/2012 11:57

Haha bun at your response Grin It's getting close now isn't it.

Well done mck and Rosalie. Fab weight gain. Violet's not been weighed for 11 days and I'm intregued about how much she might be. Really should get to the HV centre and pop her on the scales but also can't be bothered to head down there! She's feeling much heavier so reckon there's some good chunk being put on.

DP is off to Latitude this afternoon. I'm not worried about him going, more sad he's not going to be with V again til Monday. He's sad and going to miss her tonnes. Sad

Ooh sunny here!

Oh and our hallway finally got finished yesterday!!!!

ghosteditor · 12/07/2012 13:48

Well done mck!

And thanks bun, yes, leaping, teething, and frustration with crawling. She's doing hands and knees rocking now plus moving arms but hasn't quite put it all together. = screaming. I worked out last night that it's 10 weeks since she slept more than 3 hours, often more like 1-2 Sad

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/07/2012 16:21

Added you mckayz! Well done re weight! Grin
Thanks bun, no such luck with sofa day though, we had swimming this morning (went really well!) home for 5 mins then to a friend's for lunch. Just got home! Have emailed you the pic.
mamma hope it's okay without DP!
ghost that sounds like really hard work Sad I take it you mean 3 hours between feeds rather than 3 hours in a whole night?

ghosteditor · 12/07/2012 18:58

Yes, trouble, between feeds! Can you imagine?! Confused

I usually only get about 6 broken hours though, and I neeeeed my sleep!

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/07/2012 19:10

That's what I got last night-6 broken hours! I feel broken! Confused am going to bed early tonight as Fyfe got an extra 4 hours earlier in the evening! We (finally) have the second series of six feet under to watch so are going up with him at 8 and will watch an episode in bed...aiming for sleep at 9.30- don't want another night like that...you must be wrecked! Sad
