It's the home run ladies Grin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
McKayz · 22/06/2012 20:10

Yeah tried that. Blooming baby.

elliebug · 22/06/2012 20:11

Give her 10 min and try again?, how long since last feed?

elliebug · 22/06/2012 20:12

Will she feed in her sleep?

McKayz · 22/06/2012 20:17

Last decent feed was at 3. She's on now though finally and it hurts but not as much. I might try and hand express a bit so I have some to give her if I need it.

elliebug · 22/06/2012 20:23

I've got a freezer full if you need some Grin hopefully it'll keep getting less painful for you Smile

Davinaaddict · 22/06/2012 20:35

It's going to be a loooong night. Lauren's definitely having a growth spurt and now refuses to sleep despite being completely knackered Sad

Glad you've managed to get Rosalie attached McKayz Smile

Davinaaddict · 22/06/2012 20:39

Yay for the tooth ghost but not for the injuries Smile I used to tap DS on the nose and detach him when he used to bite me as well as yelp like a puppy Grin He didn't do it very much Grin

elliebug · 22/06/2012 21:01

Trouble you are crazy!! I wanted twins this time but only so I could have 2 babies for 1 pregnancy! I want more babies but I never want to be pregnant againConfused
Davina, hope you get some sleep!
I'm grumpy cos jake is screamy and OH should have been home at 730 bit he rang to say there was a leaving do after work so wouldn't be home till late Angry I just want to eat a big greasy burger mmmm

elliebug · 22/06/2012 21:02

Ghost, maybe put teething gel on your nipple?!

elliebug · 22/06/2012 21:34

Oh shit, just remembered mother not in law is coming round tomorrow and the house is a tip and the hamsters stink note to self: must make my post more succinct in future!!

elliebug · 22/06/2012 22:14

Oh and he's been drinking, not sure how he plans to get home Hmm
Please someone else post!!!

McKayz · 22/06/2012 22:23

We've just had a really good feed. She was on for 30 minutes and she seemed to get quite a bit. It didn't hurt much either after the first 30 or so seconds.

I had a go at expressing too and got quite a lot out. I'm feeling heavier too so I'm wondering if my milk is starting to come in.

elliebug · 22/06/2012 22:24

Yay, that's great Grin

AnchorBun · 22/06/2012 22:33

Just popping in to say brilliant news McKayz!! So happy to hear that!

Oh and Ellie, leave the smelly hamsters for your hungover OH to clean out in the morning < evil Grin >

OP posts:
McKayz · 22/06/2012 22:42

She's asleep in her basket for the first time. It feels a bit weird as I'd actually like her to wake up for a cuddle. I should probably try and sleep.

Davinaaddict · 23/06/2012 03:47

Hope you're managing to get some sleep McKayz - so pleased you had a good evening! Smile

Bun that's a great idea re:Ellie's other half cleaning out the hamsters! Especially as its his mum visiting Grin

Well I think it's been an ok night after a crappy evening. Although I may have just passed out again so DH may have been dealing with her! She's just had her usual 3 am sleep and has settled back off with minimal fuss. Fingers crossed she's asleep til 7 Grin

We were planning on going swimming tomorrow - I really hope the baths are open, with all this flooding! Confused Hope you're all having lots of lovely sleep Smile

McKayz · 23/06/2012 03:50

No sleep here. Dd is asleep. Me no!!

I'm looking at houses while silently screaming at the rain to piss off!

Davinaaddict · 23/06/2012 08:07

3am sleep? I meant feed Confused Maybe I was more tired than I thought....

So up for the usual 7am feed again. The rain appears to have stopped for the time being. But I've not seen Brighouse in the flood news so that's good. How are you other northern ladies, flood wise?

McKayz · 23/06/2012 08:20

No flood warnings here but the beck looked very very full yesterday. Our house won't flood but we wont be able to get to school or go to the shops.

ghosteditor · 23/06/2012 08:22

Ooh Davina let me know as I'm driving up to Fax on Monday, if I'm not so tired that it'd be dangerous. J at 22 weeks is actually a monster. More night waking than ever before; trying to crawl, crying, kicking, flailing, and generally keeping up awake. I have one more night with DH here to help then I have to do this alone for a month Sad.

ellie Grin at teething gel!

mckayz I too have weather-rage and annoying sound-rage. We have a lot going on here and despite extreme fatigue I have been feeling too stressed to sleep.

ghosteditor · 23/06/2012 09:06

davina I'm getting FB reports that Elland was hit hard - not sure about Brighouse yet.

AnchorBun · 23/06/2012 09:06

Wow Ghost Jules is coming on so quickly! Definitely sounds like hard work. Lilly still isn't rolling all the way from back to belly yet! She gets to her side and then flumps back defeated Grin almost there with sitting unaided and her standing's getting better though. It always amazes me how different babies are.
Odin is almost as tall as Lilly when they're standing (holding on to mums' hands that is)! And yes, he's standing holding on! And sitting amongst cushions! That boy is amazing! AND he has a Mohawk! Shock Grin

Thanks for the kind words the other day, have discovered my terrible woe is me attitude was down to hormones (AF visit this morning). Thank goodness, I was beginning to worry I was slipping back into the 'D' word - will have to watch myself at around that time from now on I think, it was not good.

Lilly's growth spurt has ended thank god, she's back to sleeping until 7ish

elliebug · 23/06/2012 12:00

Ah bun, hormones suck Sad
Mckayz, care package is on its way, I hope you don't get flooded!!
Anyone want a defective baby, it's stuck on awake!! Comes with accessories!Grin

McKayz · 23/06/2012 13:21

Thanks Ellie

Why is it that last night we had a great feed and another this morning. But now she won't stay awake?

elliebug · 23/06/2012 16:09

Babies, who'd have them?!Smile
Did you do the nappy change strip off thing? That's my best suggestion! Sorry
I'm glad I didn't wait for OH to clean the hamsters put cos one was deadSadSadSad
