All,
I have been receiving numerous calls and emails regarding Lamaze recently and am happy to inform all of you that I will be starting Central London's first Lamaze class very soon. I have been Lamaze certified from New York and am planning to hold the class at my apartment in Tower Hill. The class will span a total of 6 sittings, held weekly, for an hour per sitting. I plan to cover all aspects of labor focussing on the following:

  1. Signs of true and false labour
  2. Labour pain and ways to cope with it
  3. Relaxation techniques, breathing awareness, birth ball, acupressure?
  4. Care practices to promote normal birth
  5. Optimum Foetal positioning and positions for labor and delivery
  6. Medical intervention and its effect
  7. Baby care and breastfeeding

My goal here is to empower all of you so that you can make informed choices about healthcare, assume full responsibility for your health and trust your inner wisdom as you go through the miracle of childbirth.

I am trying to get together a small group before I begin my first class. Please contact me if you are interested.

Is it free?

If you are charging for the classes then this post should appear under Small Business Ads and you should pay £50.

(I did Lamaze in NY nearly 25 years ago and it cost c $100 then so I doubt very much if these are free, ztt!)
