Am I pregnant?

We're TTC but not in any focussed way. Just going to see what happens. He is 37, I am 33. Both healthy. Both new to this!

I came off the pill in early January. My period in Feb was about 4 days late. In March it was 4 days late (on top of the 4 days from previous month). Now 8 days late for my April period. Got symtpoms like fatigue, nausea and tender breasts etc. but have now taken five pregnancy tests -all negative.

Am I pregnant or not? How reliable are the tests? Could it all just be explained by my periods still being wonky?!

Is driving me mad. I am invited out for drinks tonight and being will def notice if I don't drink but as I have no idea whether or not I am pregnant perhaps best be cautious!

I would suggest a trip to your GP - they could do a blood test to confirm one way or the other.. I have to say, in my experience the tests are pretty reliable but you should discuss with GP to be on safe side.

Thanks for the responses. I tend to think personally that I am not pregnant and it is just my periods still being 'out' so what you are saying goings along with this. I think I will leave it a few more days and then go to my GP for a blood test as suggested.

I guess I will stay away from the wine tonight though. Healthier that way anyway!

I think is just the start of many months or not really knowing what my body is doing. Looking at some of the other threads on here TTC can be a rather confusing experience! Don't know why I thought it would all be precise!

I don't use OPKs but admittedly that would be a good idea. I'll give it a go and see how I get on.
