Jenbird My OB GYN does dildocams every scan until 12 weeks, and since with each pregnancy have had three or four scans up to 12 weeks (high MC risk plus slightly neurotic) I consider myself something of an expert

Don't freak out when you see it - it's a lot less scary than it looks and up to 12 weeks gives a much clearer image than abdominal scans, which is great :)

Sorry to hear Kat's news.

Jen I had the dildocam (both for fertility investigations and early scan - it's a funny feeling (esp with your mum in the room) but it's really ok, plus you can empty your bladder rather than the full one needed for abdominal.

Anyone else tried to access the nct website in the last few days? I am just getting a message saying 'site offline'.

I am SO disappointed! I didn't want anything at the chinese, and everything I tried tasted awful - even things I would normally eat!

Business as usual here then! Still, I don't feel sick just very tired or nauseous so that's good - can't ask for anything more!

Gonna chill all evening, might even risk a bath. After the last attempt nearly ended up with me fainting, while vomiting...!

I'm 10+5 today, Getting excited because my scan is on pay day. So I am going to be stalking eBay for cots and a few other bits after my scan. Gonna get what I can while I can! I love a bargain!

Have been thinking about names the last couple of days. I didn't realise quite how awkward DP's surname is! It begins with a T, which rules out a few of my favourite names, and it is quite harsh on the tongue. Damn it!

Just adding my date in. TheDetective good to hear you have been less sick. Guess the worse first semester symptoms should be wearing off for a lot of us soon (fingers crossed). I have felt pretty alright today and actually managed to clean out the fridge (DH claimed to have done this 2 weeks ago, but having seen the random pieces of food and stains at the back, I have serious doubts). Also worn maternity jeans for first time today - bliss! I had forgotten how comfy they are. Reminds me why it took me about 2 years to put them away after having DD!

blonderthanred I happened to look at a post about the nct on the pregnancy forum. It said that the site has been done due to problems. It did give an office number if you want to get hold of them rather than wait for the website to be back up and running. Check out the pregnancy section, the thread had nct in the title so should be fairly easy to find.

detective sod's law that you wouldn't feel up to eating. Just noticed that you are just 3 days ahead of me.

I got a text from a good pal today which said "I felt like shit until week 13 then I woke up one day feeling like I could climb mountains"

Really made me smile - bring on mountaineering!

Hello everyone! I've been AWOL since thread 1. Been dropping in and reading whenever I can.

Got bad MS at week 6. Ended up being off work for three week. And luckily just had two weeks off for easter as i am a teacher . Medication has the under control now, well most the time. And am still every morning. Think it may be the toothpaste ? However still feel sick all the time. Although I'm still tiered all the time not actually falling asleep constantly. Which is a shame at 2am when I have to be up in 5 hours for work .

I have had my booking appointment which was exciting. But embarrassing as I could hardly get any wee out for my urine test. It was such a tiny amount! But they gave me such a tiny pot (1cm diameter! Seriously) and I missed some of what little pee I did get out. So really it's their own fault!

My scan is 18th at 12 weeks spot on. Really excited about it! But a little (lot) worried about being able to drink enough water!

On the boobs front mine do not hurt as much as they did. However when cold my nipples are v painful. I'm already big (36f) so not happy at all about getting bigger

Right. I'm gona try to keep up with this thread now!

Had my booking in appt this morning - there is so much paperwork! They told me I am totally low risk and therefore should go for a home birth or birthing unit. eek, here I am hoping for a c-section after sisters traumatic birth which I was present for. I've got to go back for my blood to be taken in 20mins, really not looking forward to all the bloods.
I am so jealous of all you ladies already in maternity jeans. My jeans are definitely getting too tight now and I only have 1 pair left I can get on, but I'm scared if I start buying maternity clothes now my work colleagues will notice - although I'm starting to think they have already guessed!

No scan date for me either apple and I am 11 weeks today.

I got mine at my booking in appointment, MW could access the hospital system and choose one there and then, which was really good. GTBaby I know what you mean about the drinking. The worst thing is when there's a huge wait and you are pacing about trying to keep your legs crossed (or something more physically possible) ditsygem I haven't told most people either, but I think a lot of maternity clothes you can get away with - H&M especially, tho I guess it partly depends what style of clothes you normally wear.

I'm really sorry to hear your news Kat fingers crossed for good news soon. Enjoy your summer of festivals and wine.

apple I don't have a scan date either, my booking in will be 3rd May when I'll be 11 weeks which i think is a bit late.

My private early scan is on Sat (21st April) and I'll be 9+5.

This morning I threw up my breakfast but hadn't had much to drink and it was all thick and got stuck in my throat so I was choking on it. I am so fucking bad at being pregnant.

Have spent the last couple of hours teary and shivery under a blanket unable to face starting a big work contract I successfully pitched for last week.

Sorry I only seem to come here to moan

Salt and vinegar crisps seem to help my stomach settle wen feeling a little this morning thing I'll be buying loads this evening on way home.

If anyone updates the scan stats can u add me
