Hi, I've only just seen this message. I haven't been in this situation but I have a friend who found she had a hernia when she was expecting her 3rd child. She was initially advised to have surgery when pregnant but she had reservations about doing so (she's a GP). She did quite a bit of research into it and spoke to the relevant specialists in some detail and eventually decided to hold off the surgery until the baby was about 6 months old.

Sorry I can't be any more specific. Hope that helps.

Hi,

I've just seen your post - I have a hernia and found that a Mind the Bump enhanced maternity belt is invaluable! It makes me feel so much more comfortable and secure.

They can be found really easily on Google.

Liz
