Glad you're feeling a bit better mummymccar and good luck on the job hunt for your DP

I've just got sore boobs, not huge ones, although I do need to go bra shopping soon! Picked out our nursery furniture, think it's coming this weekend. Just need our 4d scan to confirm our place on team pink and then we're going to start decorating!

Crazybit · 12/10/2011 14:11

Hi laadies

Deardear-dd is 11, think the cut off is 12 for her deciding but her wishes are taken int account.

diedandgonetoDevon-Hope scan goes well!

Not sure what my boobs are sizewize-huge-Mothercare never have my size, need to get measured again soon, somewhere..

mummymccar-Glad you're feeling more positive and sending dh postive new job vibes!

louby86 · 12/10/2011 14:18

Must have cross-posted! Good luck diedandgonetodevon

littlemonkeybix · 12/10/2011 17:46

Aww Mummy glad the evil boss has been moved!! That definitely helps!

As for my coat... HARUMPH! Out of stock, and on the phone this morning they confirmed that the order did not process = no coat for me!

Fortunately, DP has taken pity on me and we're going to go shopping to Cheshire Oaks on Saturday Grin If that fails, then it'll be ebay and another scour of the internet.

I am sick of feeling like a leper!

On that note, must dash, Aquanatal class is calling.... where I will be the ONLY one not in black again.... RAINBOW OUTFIT YAY! Can I get away with a 3rd week of "look at me" jokes Grin

Sorry not been on much recently... I have a blasted Blackberry....

19+4/20+4 - scan is in 5 DAYS GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

diedandgonetodevon · 12/10/2011 17:47

Thank you Smile
We had slightly more luck this time. Scan is now completed and we are on Team Yellow with a Hint of Pink! The sonographer thought it was probably a girl but as Fidget had her legs quite close together she couldn't be too certain so not going over the top on the girly bits until we know a bit more certainly.

littlemonkeybix · 12/10/2011 17:49

HAHA Crazy I wanted a duffel coat... prefereably in a charcoal. Mothercare had a grey, sold out, then it was Bon Prix last night... Only had brown left in my size (Still a good colour for me) now sold out.

I think I am now just going to buy a bloody big blanket and wrap it around me! At least for the "autumn" until I can find a PROPER coat I have my lovely poncho from Tesco!! Not Maternity, just normal, but for £15 who's moaning!! Grin - oooh a positive!

littlemonkeybix · 12/10/2011 17:49

Aww good news there devon Grin

babycarmen · 12/10/2011 17:58

Ah this thread moves so quick!!

My heads thumping today and i feel like crap. (Sorry.) Finding the weight gain really difficult to get used to (personal problems with weight and eating in the past), keep dreaming about going into early labour and just want to cry 24/7 again. Yay. Dropped a bowl of cereal yesterday and cried like a baby on the kitchen floor for about half an hour.

23+2

phlossie · 12/10/2011 19:58

Congratulations on the maybe girl devon!

I have a duffel coat from Sainsbury's in size 16 that I reckon will do me, and I found an M&S wool coat size 18 in a charity shop that I'm very pleased with.

Re boobs - I Skyped my sister in Oz today and she commented on the size of my norks! They're immense. And they're sore. I don't remember having such dramatic boobs last time.

DH is out tonight and I'm supposed to be doing my tax return. Yawn!

m1nn1em0u5e · 12/10/2011 20:02

I picked up a bargain black duffle coat in Mothercare on Monday, reduced from £65 to £25, its really lovely, plus I also picked up a top reduced from £28 to £10, went to the till all happy about my 2 bargains & the sale stuff was on buy one get one free, so I got both for £25!..

PIMSoclock · 12/10/2011 22:02

Hello my lovely ladies!! I hope you are all well.
HAd my 20 wk scan today and found out what team we are in and now dh does not want to know!!!!
How will I keep the news to myself for another 20 weeks!!!!!??

PamBeesly · 12/10/2011 22:04

Are you allowed tell us PIMSoclock? Yeah for you, OH doesn't want to know! Aww its just your little secret for the next 20 weeks :)

phlossie · 12/10/2011 22:18

Tell US! We're not real! Good luck keeping it secret!

PIMSoclock · 12/10/2011 22:28

Team........

Pink!!!!!!!! Soooo excited. Have two boys so am looking forward to hair clips and tights!! The hormones scare me though.

How am I supposed to keep it a secret?? Hoping he will look at the Internet history and see all the lovely girly things from baby Zara Grin

diedandgonetodevon · 12/10/2011 22:56

oooh baby Zara! [scuttles off to have a little look, just for information purposes obviously...]

diedandgonetodevon · 12/10/2011 23:07

[wibble] I loooove these, and this, ooh and this
'tis dangerous Grin. May have to buy them for my SIL who is due to have a little girl in 2 weeks time.

When I was having DS, even before we knew he was going to be a boy, I had no interest in girly clothes and much prefered the boy things but this time I have seen so many lovely, lovely outfits for a little girl.

Kayano · 12/10/2011 23:40

Welcome to team pink!!! Wooo it is so exciting Grin

The word 'SHE' is now your enemy in terms of giving it away!!!

PIMSoclock · 13/10/2011 05:24

I know!!!! All seems a bit more real now.
DiedandgonetoDevon I LOVE the shoes and the pretty dresses!
Love the name too. My oldest boy thinks that people go to Devon when they die Grin
Kayano, I know! I had myself convinced we were team blue again so had been calling the bump he.
Dh is an idiot, if I slip up it's his fault for letting me find out Wink

Xavielli · 13/10/2011 07:42

I managed to keep the sex from DP with DS. If your DH really doesn't want to know he won't go snooping. I used to say 'he' and 'she' when referring to the bump... DP only ever picked up on the 'he's though... Strange! I had a big black plastic box which I put the boys bits I bought in there and expressly told him not to look. It can be done!!

louby86 · 13/10/2011 10:47

Congratulations on joining team pink Pims how exciting!

PIMSoclock · 13/10/2011 11:34

I know, I am this excited!!!!!!!!

phlossie · 13/10/2011 11:37

Oh, funny. I often call my DH an idiot. My friend managed to keep the sex of her second baby a secret, though we did guess from things she said. But her DH knew too - not just her. If you were having a boy, it would be easier because you can keep the boys' clothes packed away, but you're going to have to buy some girly clothes! There's so much more choice for girls. My DD definitely has the best wardrobe!

We've got some very exciting news which I can't tell people in RL because it's a taboo subject and I haven't got my head around it myself yet, although people are going to guess sooner or later...

The story is that my DH's grandad sadly died in April of pneumonia. He lived like a pov - his house was bare, not even decorated, he insisted on eating Tesco Value shepherds pie frozen ready meals every day for tea (we got him to pay for meals on wheels for about a month, but then he cancelled them), he wore the same pair of trousers every day tying the broken flies up with string (even though he was incontinent and we bought him new trousers)... anyway, my point is that he was extremely tight and we assumed he had no money. He had fallen out with his daughter (DH's mum) to the point that she'd had enough of him and moved to Spain. We were left to care for him - as best we could living over an hour away and having 2 small children. It was very stressful. My DH was very close to him.

Anyway, fast forward 6 months and it turns out that he had £900k in savings!!!! And that we're to inherit half!!! My DH is a mixture of angry that his grandad wouldn't spend anything on looking after himself, and overwhelmed about what to do with all this money - we both are. So, we've got A LOT on our plate all of a sudden - in a good way, of course. In a wonderful way in fact. We're talking about moving, investing and all sorts. I can't really get my head around it, tbh!

CoffeeOne · 13/10/2011 11:58

mummymc I'm fuming about your boss! What an utter tool! I hope he gets what's coming to him.

pims congrats on your baby girl!

devon congrats on being team pinky yellow!

phlossie that's unbelievable! what a blessing! I understand your DH's feelings but what a wonderful thing for your family, especially with little one on the way. Very happy for you!

21+5 - feeling good!

littlemonkeybix · 13/10/2011 12:32

Phlossie that is amazing!!

What a brilliant and superb stroke of luck for you guys! Obviously its never nice to lose a relative, but how wonderful that he'd kept "a little something" tucked away for you!

Enjoy it... use it wisely... and use it frivolously! [hwink]

louby86 · 13/10/2011 14:37

Aaaahh Pims DH wanted to buy that in next the other day!
