mums - you weren't crashing your own thread? why can't you talk about ti on there?

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:07

well, no-one was about so I asked Nikki or someone to come talk and I didn't think it was fair on the others.

mums bless you, I am sensing you are a little sensitive sweetie ... crashing your thread why did you think that x

as I have said your history may be the reason for them wanting to see you. by week 6 I was fully booked in bloods taken, results back and hospital chosen

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:11

I had the mc last year and they mentioned then that they'd prob have me in once every couple of weeks to have bloods etc done, and a couple of extra scans. so I was expecting that but not so soon.

jinglediddle · 08/12/2005 14:13

you're lucky mums - i've had no extra care at all.
maybe they messed up the test, or want to check your urine again, stay calm, don't worry

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:14

I'm staying calm. (its worrying me a bit but I'm staying scarily calm)

Can you think of an excuse to tell work why I gotta go docs 2 days running?

OP posts:
jinglediddle · 08/12/2005 14:16

you have a doctors appointment for private reasons that you'd rather not go into. its none of their business. or say you had a some bloods done yesterday and they want to speak to you today. you don't need to say what they were for.

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:18

yeh ok I can do that! I had bloods taken and they're giving me the results earlier than expected. yeh that'll work.

I'm such a wimp, am scared to go tel them tho. What am I gonna be like when I gotta tel them I'm pg and need leave?

OP posts:
FirstSaintNikkilass · 08/12/2005 14:18

you'll be fine i am sure xmw

munz · 08/12/2005 14:20

hope all's well mums - I just told work I had 'womens trouble' initially. (man boss) but yes just say it's results u have to go in for.

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:21

I got woman boss so women's trouble doesnt scare her off. lol

anyway told her and although she's huffy theres nothing she can do - her exact words. Which means if she could stop me she would. ARGH!!! I hate this place.

FirstSaintNikkilass · 08/12/2005 14:31

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:33

Her and her hubby sleep in seperate rooms tho, they've got a wierd thing going on in their house I think.

OP posts:
FirstSaintNikkilass · 08/12/2005 14:35

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 14:37

OP posts:
munz · 08/12/2005 14:37

ah yes def bad mood cos she's not getting any at home! he he he

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 15:21

he he munz!! prob not

As you can tel i'm in a relativly good mood. They wanted me in because apprantly my HCG levels are VERY high for the stage they think i'm at (they did that quick eh?) so I had to have them feel my belly to see if I was earlier and have been told to check my dates as they think I could be anywhere between 8-10 wks pg going on the HCG levels or there twins.

Although I'm pretty sure that my dates are right. (not completely sure tho) I've been booked in to see the midwife (and get a scan) on tuesday. In the meantime I've been told to rest.

I don't actually know what to think at the mo, i'm very overwhelmed

OP posts:
munz · 08/12/2005 15:23

woooooooooooohooooooooooo twins! yay! lets hope it is! he he ooh i'm so rotton! lol

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 15:26

I dunno at the mo, whether woohoo or not, I'm more erm.... what the hell just happened than woohoo or no. lol

I was meant to be going to get my test results on monday, now I'm gonna have a scan to check for twins on tuesday instead. I mean! WHAT!?

OP posts:
Atomicstockinghanger · 08/12/2005 15:29

Wow! That was quick! I though they could only tell levels of hcg from your blood! And how weird that you had a feeling about having twins! You must be psycic!

FirstSaintNikkilass · 08/12/2005 15:30

so pleased for you mxw see nothing to worry about (only that you may have 2, which one to feed first??) and think of how on the ball they are with you - great news.............twins you were wondering the other day hey..
