Just remember that at the end of the day they want the money, so it is in their interest to assist you. Either making payments late or as instalments is the best choice for everyone. Hope phone calls to notify them aren't too painful.

Grin at there being more room out here. I remember that feeling very well.

nickelbabe · 25/11/2011 12:30

I've just paid the bill for my main supplier - just enough money in the bank (ignoring the returned DD for the rates to the council - I can pay that when the isa money comes through) - which means that I can still order stuff for customers. everyone else can wait until I've got the money

That's the spirit :)

Can't believe DS is 6 weeks old already... where has the time gone?!

ConfessionsOfAWereFanjo · 26/11/2011 11:30

Oh Nickel really sorry to hear about your financial situation. Having been through financial shit myself this year (while I was also at the end of a far from stressfree pregnancy) you have my complete and total sympathy. Sadly as we are still recovering financially I can't place a lovely big order with you (though believe I REALLY REALLY want to because DS loves Wibbly Pig, Kipper, Volcanoes ...).

Just remember stress in pregnancy doesn't make a stressed baby. DD is a really chilled out and happy baby and I most certainly didn't give her an easy ride in there!

Huge hugs and tea and chocolate (or other treat of your choice) for you xxx

nickelbabe · 26/11/2011 13:06

I'm apparently not that stressed - if you believe blood pressure as an indicator!
My blood pressure is again the steady 110/60 Grin

thanks for the reassurance - I know it's not worth being stressed, cos there's not a lot i can do about the situation. :)

ConfessionsOfAWereFanjo · 27/11/2011 18:57

My blood pressure was fine too Nickel I was always so surprised! Not much longer and one way or another, you'll have your LO in arms Grin

PrincessJellyBaby · 27/11/2011 21:32

nickel I'm so sorry you've been having such a tough time of it. Financial worries are so stressful. Well done on juggling things so far and thinking of the ISA. I hope loads of people come in and buy loads of your books, in cash, this month!

All ticking over here. Have felt far better the last 2 days. Hallelujah! Felt like me again. Have been eating as much as I can...though mainly crap still! Chocolate...mmm..!!

nickel have there been any more twinges?

nickelbabe · 28/11/2011 12:01

jellybelly! Grin
aw, poor you!
at least mine looks like baby, not blubber (i went through a very rough stage of it looking like blubber!)

thanks for the good wishes.
I'm sure it'll be fine.
I'm trying not to worry.
MW has a thing about these mothers-to-be who spend their last couple of weeks thinking about nothing but the coming of the baby (and preparing I suppose). Well, I'm trying to do that too, but quite frankly, the more I think about the coming of the baby, the more I get annoyed that it's still not here!
I'm better off trying to ignore it (and I am listening to my body - I'm not doing stuff when I'm tired, and I'm resting when it doesn't bore me to lie around doing nothing )

Ok. I'm worried I'm carrying twins. I swear I can feel my uterus above my pubic bone. It's not meant to rise for another week or so. And I just wonder. I keep thinking how I doubled my clomid dose. Time will tell, but I'm suspicious! Might almost be disappointed if there's only one!!

Still feeling ok. 3 days now. Swing between no symptoms = mmc and " chill out!" I did read today that at 9-12 weeks the placenta takes over production of hormones, so that's probably why.

Day off tomorrow as well.... Twilight fest with my little sis!

Hope everyones good.

nickelbabe · 29/11/2011 11:32

yes, I remember feeling rather panicky around that stage.

twins, eh? ooooh.
(although it's probably just paranoia)

OP posts:
PrincessJellyBaby · 29/11/2011 21:14

Panic over. I prodded my sister's pubic bone and belly and it feels the same as mine. Think I was feeling stomach muscles! Phew!

Naughty, not pointing the way earlier

nickelbabe · 02/12/2011 22:26

sorry, i didn't want to get anyone's hopes up.
like someone's jsut put - 380 posts and no sign of a baby from anyone.

(but i'm just having another twinge - that started before I started typing and hasn't yet finished. it could be wind, but i don't think so.

oh, i think it's subsiding now)

OP posts:
PrincessSugarPlum · 03/12/2011 13:59

Oooo.....exciting!!! Will have a read of the other thread now!

nickelbabe · 03/12/2011 14:08

so convinced it's wind.
I've been standing up.
I forgot to see if i had one at 1:44, but I was talking to the OriginalFAB in real life Shock she's very lovely.

OP posts:
PrincessSugarPlum · 08/12/2011 11:15

Any news yet Nickel? Baited breath here!! Surely something must've happened. Will go searching and rummaging for you elsewhere..

nickelbabe · 10/12/2011 14:47

I've got a new lifebirht thread now.
I lost this in I'm On, and I haven't posted much anywhere in the past couple of days apart from "oh, let's try and have a baby, oh, no ,maybe not" thread. Grin
here

Congratulations on your little girl's arrival Nickel xxx

PrincessSugarPlum · 14/12/2011 21:20

Yay for you Nickel!! I'm sure you're snuggled up having new baby cuddles with your little girl. Aaahh!!!

I posted a congrats on the other thread, but wanted to make sure you knew I am totally made up for you. It was crazy, watching the thread with you posting then your friend. You were amazing - although it has put me off labour, tbh! It seems so long!!

So, how are things? Still v early days. Are you able to share the name and weight? And was the labour truely awful? Details please!!!

In other news, I had the 12 week scan yesterday. All present and correct and one only! (After doubling clomid, I am relieved - not another Brassica!). It was the most incredible thing to see. Date is 11+6 now and EDD is 28/6/12. So real now.

Hope all other viroids are good too.

x

nickelbabe · 15/12/2011 12:56

details on DutchOma's thread - thank you Xmas Grin

I'm going back to bed for a bit - visitors due at half 2, and I'm sure Isbn will need feeding again before i've chance to rest. :)

OP posts:
nickelbabe · 15/12/2011 17:25

Glad your scan went well :)
Glad there is only one in there! I can't imagine having to give birth to 2 after the stress of giving birth to 1! Xmas Shock (maybe that's why twins are smaller generally? Xmas Wink )

ConfessionsOfATinselFanjo · 15/12/2011 17:48

Oh Princess yay for another June due date :) I would say that June babies are lovely, but as DD missed June by just over 2 hours I can't (July baby's however ARE Grin)

I've read your birth story over on the other thread Nickel and it sounds like it was rather eventful for you! Hope you heal up quickly.
