I am a personal trainer who has just set up a Pre and Postnatal exercise class after finishing a qualification in the area. I am hoping you can help me by sharing your experience of these kind of classes.
What worked for you at these classes and what didn't?
Were they indoor or outdoor pros and cons of this?
Were you told by you MW/HV that these classes were available? If you weren't would it have been better if they did?
If you didnt go to Pre and Postnatal exercise what would have encouraged you to?
Anything else you think is relevant
Thanks in advance for your help

I was desperate for a post natal class I could take dd1 to with me but they didn't exist in my area. So that would have encouraged me. I used to go with my mum when I was about 2 and I still remember sitting by her mat and playing with another mum's child while mum did exercises, so maybe one with toddlers and one with babies - maybe exercises that include the baby?

I really enjoyed the postnatal physio classes in the hospital gym - a dozen cute babies all lined up wriggling happily in the centre. Though they tended to get bored for the second half when we did yoga stuff. Then I did Buggyfit classes outside - mostly because they were a couple minutes from my house. Luckily it never rained much.

This time round I hope I could take my 3.6 yo to the hospital classes at least. Something like Gymboree with exercise for the adults would be great.

dying to go to a pre-natal exercise class, but for some reason they all seem to be scheduled during the day. Nothing seems to cater for pregnant women who work!
