A nice cosy place to accommodate our growing bumps and little wrigglers.

Gosh iwish, if you have a dribbly, sicky, leaky baby, and drippy boobs you'll go through 9 muslins in a morning! I bought 18 to start with and it was nothing like enough - mum gave me another 14 she had knocking around in her loft and we still get very close to the bottom of the stack Grin

Your MIL sounds like a total PITA. For goodness sake Do Not Phone her until you have given birth, had a bath and feel ready for visitors. It sounds like she may struggle with giving you the space you'll need so you have to be quite strong about carving out that space. Def a good plan to leave your key in the door. Then you can not answer the doorbell and later explain it with "We were resting/feeding etc and do not want spectators"
Nightmare, many sympathies.

Sitting excitedly awaiting news from GetDown

Had a crap night last night, DD just wouldn't settle after her feeds so we were up for hours jigging her around. Shattered.

Iwish · 14/09/2011 17:27

I am definitly planning on ignoring the phone or switching it off while in labour as I know she would just turn up expecting to be let in and I don't want to feel pressured into letting her in. I want skin to skin time with bubba then skin to skin time for bubba and DP then the showering and trying to feel human part.

Eeek I had better get some more muslins I think! Grin

Hope you have a better night with DD tonight. Do you think maybe she's goeing through a bit of a growth spurt?

That's so cute iwish! I really want to get one too but if she goes a few days overdue then she'll miss Halloween so trying to resist temptation. I will be getting a Christmas one though. Poor child!

Iwish · 15/09/2011 18:06

It's fab isn't it mrsp. Yeh you will have to get your little one a Christmas outfit. Naughty mummys arent we Grin Check eBay out. I got my outfit from there for less than £4. Not bad for a few hours wear.
How long have you got to work now?

baby Robin Joseph arrived last night at 10:24pm, on his due date! He weighed 7lbs 10oz. Was an amazing experience. Thanks to hypnobirthing, no pain relief, apart from a bit of gas and air at the very end, and delivered him in the water as I had dreamed. Home within 24hrs. What a different experience this time round! He is feeding well and is totally adorable. Am in love!!!

Will post proper birth story when feeling stronger.

Love to all.xxx
