I am 16 weeks pregnant and this is my first time. How excited and nervous are you? Are the partners being supportive? :)

Hiya, This is my first time too. Im only 4+4 though so still very early days for me! I am super excited and want to run down the road and tell everyone, just not yet! Yep my dh is being fine, think he will be more excited when we have the scan etc? How about you?

Charleigh0 · 03/03/2011 10:07

Congratulations! :) I know what you mean, the family know and some close friends. My partner doesn't stop talking about it, going for another scan tomorrow, the feeling is wonderful Grin

Wish you both luck!

free I am 4+4 today as well!! My EDD 12/11/11, when is yours?

char 16 wks? lucky! Are you showing yet?

I couldn't even get in with my GP until the 23rd... so I will be almost 7 wks!!

Charleigh0 · 08/03/2011 17:00

No I'm not showing at all really, there is a tiny bump that is noticable if I pull my top up, but other than that I'm not very big at all!

Shouldn't speak too soon though I guess! I only found out I was pregnant at 3 months so doctors have been rushing around for me!

Hi ladies

I'm 5+5 with my first. How hard is it not going and telling everyone when it is the one thing that seems to be on your mind nearly every hour of the day! Grin

Charleigh0 · 12/03/2011 19:28

I know I agree! I wanted to shout it out to everyone when I first found out.

Hello lovely ladies,

I am having my first and it has all been a bit a crazy time. I am 8 wks tomorrow and have my booking appt with the midwife. I wasn't expecting much but when she booked me in she said that the appointment is normally about 40 mins!

I have had fertility treatment (have PCOS and had to inject hormones to produce some follicles and then LH to ripen one up) and that has been tense. Plus DH's mum died the week before we conceived, because of the treatment we know more or less when the deed was done, and she would have been over the moon. I miss her a lot so my emotions are all over the place.

But I am so excited and cannot wait to get to 12 wks. We are lucky to have had a 6 wk scan, because treatment was private, and we have opted for another one at 9 wks.

Blimey, long post...

Hiya zakiakatya

Can understand how you feel - I'm now 6+4 and we also lost my MIL this year, at the end of January. We're telling his dad tomorrow so it will be sad as his mum would have been thrilled. At least it is good news at a sad time!

On a lighter note, hope your booking appt goes well - still waiting to get mine booked, guess it will be in the next 2-3 weeks. I had heard it could take quite a lot of time, and apparently you have to be prepared to answer a million questions!

Hello ladies! Anyone still out there?

This is my first and I'm jumping on this thread a little late so hope you guys are still out there Smile

Im 13+1 today and due 5th October.

Had my first scan yesterday and couldn't believe my LO was just chilling out in there trying to suck his/ her thumb.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi all,

Congratulations to you all and I hope that you're doing well. It is my first little one too, I'm 13 weeks - sooooooooo excited but feeling pretty nervous about the birth. It's been such a whirlwind few months - I'm a massive needle phobic so the booking appointment was a bit of a trauma what with all of the blood tests lol, then the day of our scan was just amazing - seeing him/her wiggling about.
