We are hoping to move to Epsom. DS is 10 months old and our first baby. But we will be new to the area and do not know the neighbourhood or its residents! Is there anything going on in Epsom. I had a little look on the internet and there is a baby club at the church on Tuesday mornings????

I used to live in Epsom. I had DD there. It's a nice town. Do you need childcare? I know a superb childminder. CAT me if you might need one.

The rainbow Centre has some good activities (but I've never gotten to enjoy them because I work full time) But my SAHM friends go with their kiddies. There's also Horton Park petting zoo. And I think St, Martins do a toddler group. It might be called Honey Pots.... can't remember though.

Thanks Uwila - sounds like there is plenty to keep me and the ds out of trouble! Was it a nice place to live. We are leaving a flat in Muswell HIll in North London to get a bit more room and to aim for better schools. Although early days yet, but we had a look around and it seemed v nice.

It's not a bad town. Shopping is okay. A few restaurants. We used to venture out to Kingston or Bluewater for serious shopping. The hospital is okay (not the best, but not bad), in case you are planning another.

There are a couple of good schools. I think St. Martins is one of them. There's another good one, but I can't think of the name. It might technically be in Ewell.

We are overseas now but still have a house in Ewell but DS was born overseas so not familiar with the kiddie side of things.

Have friends who did have their children their although now in Leatherhead - any info I could prob find out for you.

Good luck!
