Oh Amanda you sound like you have had such a shit weekend. Keep strong though as you have been doing and he will soon get the picture that what YOU say goes and not the other way round

I have felt loads of movement again, ooooh it's lovely. Me and DH laid in bed yesterday morning and watched the bump visibly moving about and changing shape it was very weird but was great because DH could actually see what was happening!

Work sucks.

Amanda it is actually a good thing that you are hating your ex at the moment. Maybe being at work isn't helping you right now, do you have anyone at work/home you can have a good long chat to about this situation that you can meet up with this morning?

TicTac · 26/09/2005 10:28

Morning all,

Chloe I have felt loads of movement this weekend too but I have to say I am not so happy when she kicks downwards....love it when she punches out but the whole down below thing took a lot of getting used to and it still makes me twinge!!

3k · 26/09/2005 12:27

Hi Ladies,

Amanda- we are all here for you so keep chatting and keep your chin up. Your ex has a lot of growing up to do and you are so much better without him.

I too have been feeling lots of kicks and have to admit I dont like the kicks below either - very odd!!!! My belly jumped out about 2 inches on Saturday night as I got out of shower and put lots of baby oil on as skin feeling very tight. Just layed and let the oil sink in and watched my belly and he kicked so hard it made me jump!! Such a lovely feeling though.

Seeing midwife this afternoon. Ladies I'm very worried about all these pains I keep getting. I know the consultant said it was probably down to ligaments but I am in AGONY and cant walk properly when it kicks in. I know baby is fine from scan but now having nightmares about having a premature baby and bleeding! HELP!!!! I am going to talk to midwife about it this afternoon but I cant get this feeling out of my head soemthing is going to go wrong.

spacecadet · 26/09/2005 12:47

amanda, wish there was something i could say that will make you feel better, fwiw, i remember those feelings well, ds was 8 months before i stopped hating him and just felt nothing,i just feel apathy towards him now, he doesnt see ds, my dh adopted him, that was ex-p;s choice, he put his relationship before his child and that hurt for so long, you will get there eventually, but in the meantime you have to grieve for the end of your relationship, your ex sounds like a vile pig,you being preg has mucked up his plans but as he has left you to deal with it, then remind him that you will do just that, its your body and your child.
sending you a virtual {{hug}}
3k im sure your pains are ligament pains, i get them very badly and worse if i stand up suddenly, they take my breath away, please dont worry, your baby is fine!
tabs-thanks, tic tac sent me a CAT, i was so busy, i guessed no one would notice if i didnt post
it is very dis concerting to feel somthing kick you in the bladder!

popmum · 26/09/2005 12:53

morning all!
have my scan tomorrow pm and we are going to try and find out the flavour - really don't mind what we are having btu would love to know.
had a bit of a panic on sunday cos although last weekend had loads of movement this weekend he/she has been very still - very worrying. kept thinking what am i going to do - on a sunday hard with drs shut etc! but then had a bath and felt some lovely kicks/punches right down low but feel wriggles round my waist - so am happy now.

Chloe55 · 26/09/2005 14:27

Hi Popmum, we are also trying to find out the flavour tomorrow at our scan - very excited. I am gonna eat loads of chocolate before hand to try and get him active (well that's my excuse anyway)

TicTac · 26/09/2005 14:35

3K - I understand why you are worried and I think you are doing the right thing chatting to your midwife. I have had lots of ligament pain but I did worry it might be something else. When it eased off I figured all was ok. I guess all you can do is carry on as normal and what will be will be!

All - I am so pleased you have felt some down below boots too! This being my first I never know if it is all normal or I am just a bit odd!!!

Chloe - Good luck tomorrow hun....let us know!!

popmum · 26/09/2005 14:37

i don't need any excuses to eat choc - am totally addicted!

flamebat · 26/09/2005 16:55

Has anyone got any news on Popadopolis?

Frizbe · 26/09/2005 17:10

Hi all, just having a cadburys milk choc craving, so may have to go and buy some haven't heard of pop, myself?
Amanda1, lots of sound advice on here re your ex, so I shan't add anymore at the mo, {{{Big Hugs}}} again tho and I'll be on for a natter later tonight if you need to talk.

spacecadet · 26/09/2005 17:12

tic tac-bouncing on bladders is what babies do best, wait till you are 36 weeks!
good luck with your scans popmum and chloe.

TicTac · 26/09/2005 21:01

Oh nooo space...actually, been a horrid mum to be tonight. I have been lying on the couch shoving my belly to try and wake her up so she does another jig! It just feels really weird and I think I am addicted

Oh a colleague bought her baby into the office today. He is only 16 weeks old....gorgeous little thing he was...got all mega broody and wanted our baby NOW.

I have not heard anything from pop...

Oh Hon, boy is this arse playing games, and your hormones are not helping one bit....change your mobile no, as well as your home tel (have they got that done for you yet?) and get legal advice as to where you stand regarding him stalking you, injunction if necessary, that should pop him firmly in his place. Hope he sees sense soon and stops being a prat.

doh bloody comp on slow!

Chloe55 · 27/09/2005 09:07

I just don't understand this guy Amanda, one minute he wants to get rid and the next minute he wants involvement. What does he mean byu wanting involvement before the birth - how on earth does he expect to be involved? Does he mean financially (doubtful by the sounds of the guy) or that he wants to go to scans etc (which no doubt would be stressful for you at a time that should be so exciting), I agree about changing your mobile and getting outside help from the law.

Morning everyone else, hope we are all well today. Off for my scan in an hour - will post this afternoon to let you know how it goes.

Frizbe · 27/09/2005 09:15

Oooh Good luck with scan chloe, I really must go and do some work....
