Hi ladies, congrats to everyone! Just wondering if you guys have used the standard 40 weeks calculation, or adjusted it to take account of your cycle length?

The standard give me a May edd, the adjusted means I'm due in June. I know the NHS use the standard 40 weeks, which is quite annyoing, as last time they though DS was more overdue than he was and induced me.

But wondering which club to join..... :)

Hi

I'm quite regular, but at your 20 week scan they'll be able to measure your baby and give a better idea of the due date then.

If it halps, I'm due end of Jan - and there's a late Jan group on here - so maybe see if there's a group on here that's the cusp of May/June!

And congrats! :)

If I was you I would join the June group as an early bird - it's less confusing to arrive when the group is still small, rather than joining the May bunch which is probably quite big by now.

FWIW I'm in the March group and have EDD of 25th Feb in the end (NHS), my guess was 4th March. There's always a few in every group who have EDDs for the month before & after as things get adjusted at scans.

Congratulations!
