Amy Louise was born on 30 July at 05.18am weighing 7 lbs 3.5 ounces.
She is doing fantastically and feeding well.

Went in on Wednesday for an induction, had a pessary at 11am nothing happened, had another at 5.30pm and still nothing!!
DH went home that evening, DD1 was at my parents so that DH could rush back to me if I needed him.

I woke up at around 2am with a strong contraction, got up and ran a bath, the contractions were coming about every 6-7 minutes then all of a sudden every minute or so. I rang DH and bless him he got there about 15 minutes later lol.
I was in the bath when DH arrived but was very uncomfortable so got out and started on the gas and air (great stuff!! ), then asked for more pain relief and had some pethidine (not so great stuff)

In the end I was screaming for an epidural which they just managed to get in about 45 minutes before she was born, so I was still able to feel a lot of it but it took the edge right off

Labour only lasted approx 2.5 hours and I was only pushing for 5 minutes or so.

DD1 is completely besotted with DD2

my DD3 loved it when she was a baby she would sleep all the time in it tucked up at the back (unusual for her she wasn't the best sleeper)

Enjoy your new baby and pram
