Born 25.06.09
Freddie Joe 21.46pm 6lbs and
Stanley Peter 21.55 6lbs 10oz.

I was induced at 38 weeks due to low fluid levels.
Went into hospital at 12pm had the first pessary about 1pm.
Contractions started about 6.30pm.
Was examined and was found to be 3 cm so taken down to labour ward. The contractions started speeding up and passing round the room really helped, by 7.30pm I was desperate for the gas and air and stood and rocked while using it and holding onto the back of a chair.
by 8.30 I felt unbelievable pressure but midwife was insistent that this was due to me having twins, not that I needed to push. I knew she was going of shift at 9.15pm and couldn't wait.
Felt like I was really loosing control and started to cry and shake. The new midwife came in and agreed to check me at 9.30pm and sure enough I was fully dilated cue slight panic and being told to wait until they had everything ready.
Finally started pushing, and Freddie's waters went followed closely by freddie who was passed straight to me.
Had a quick cuddle then within a couple of mins had the urge to push again. Stared to push again and Stanley's head came out with his waters still intact.
One more push and stanley and waters came out in a gush .
He too was passed straight to me and then I delivered each placenta.
I was very lucky to have very little intervention and was home the next day.
Both boys doing really well and feeding well, have just about learnt the art of breast feeding twins and one handed typing .
