Hi all!!

Verity Evelyn was born on Thursday 12th May at 5.31pm after a very lucky 5 3/4 hour labour!!

I was induced at 12.15pm at 4.45pm begged for an epidural (gas and air till then) only to be told it was too late as I had started pushing already!!

She weighs 6lb 11oz and came home yesterday afternoon. Thankfully I was able to stand against the registrar and not have a c-section which means I can move!!

Congratulations on your VBAC puddytats. How did they induce you? Were your waters still there?

great news - congratulations

puddytats · 15/05/2005 09:49

Mears - my notes say 'induced by ARM, Syntocinon due to SROM' I think they finally agreed that the frontal waters had gone and the back(/) waters had been draining over the next 10 days. I had 2 Liqor scans that showed them reducing as well over that period.

Puddytats - ARM menas 'Artificial Rupture of Membranes' which means that the front (fore) waters were still there so it was a hindwater rupture.
Neither here nor there now since your kitten is here. Congrats again

Gobbledigook · 15/05/2005 13:26
